i just scheduled an acupuncture appt for Tuesday morning.  It's gonna be a busy day as the afternoon will be taken up with work stuff.  I'm retired but still have my name in with a contract company. A little extra money comes in handy.

Checking in from home - completed travels and had a great time. Missed all of you. Can anyone tell me WHY the expensive hotels charge for internet access but the cheap ones don't? DH had a business meeting, so we were in one of the expensive hotels in New Orleans, and I am too cheap (Scottish ancestry) to pay the exorbitant fee they wanted, so am just now catching up with everyone. It appears to be very quiet, which is quite surprising since Jo left the two biggest trouble makers in charge, LOL!

FK, I am so sorry you are not feeling well. Sending lots of positive vibes and hugs and anything else you need to feel better. I can really empathize with the stomach issues - had a couple days that were just rather unpleasant while in NOLA, and that just plain sucks because part of the fun is trying all the food there! So I drank tea, ate bread pudding (no jambalaya, muffelettas, or Cajun anything), enjoyed the sights and sounds and the warm river breeze, and thought of all of you.

Glad to be back home, found that the rabbits had not eaten my entire garden while I was away, so now I also have something else to be grateful for.

It has turned rather cool here this week, a cold front came through, so am heading down to the fire tonight with some appropriate alcoholic beverage - not quite margarita weather, maybe some good Scotch or a good Merlot. Or hot chocolate. Come on down and join me.

What we need on these threads is a little more respect, and for some to realize "who is in charge here"........finally, notice is being taken to the bullshit that has been going on for sometime.........enough said.....
