kad2kar - I thought you just wanted to let your real feelings be known and do a little screaming!!!!
-
Been sticking my nose and reading where I shouldn't - namely, a NYT blog where The Wall Street Journal's editorial and the musings of Ari Fleischer are both discussed. Two dumber interlocutors I never saw!
-
LOL - I know the spikes look funny but at least I'm not alone, although I seem to have the most

Hugs to Cheryl
-
Susie, I think we should rename you Attilla the Hun! No bird dare come near!
-
Sisters, I celebrate Glenna's tumor shrinkage and wished for the shrinkage of other things, mainly idjuts, but with a political modifier. Bet yu can figure it out before this post is deleted too. Thanks for your support.
-
tee, hee...I LOVE a "pastor" wityh a sense of humour,
also a fancy speller, phuque...now do we drop the e when adding ing?
-
As I said, Cherryl, drinks are on us, so sit down and enjoy. When I get home I will drink to the shrinkage of Glenna's tumors and idjuts.
-
Here's to tumor and gidget shrinkage!
-
Susie, meant to say how much I LOVE your biking helmet ;-)))
I have a lovely HUGE barn Owl that spends a great deal of time in a large tree near my cabin, seems to know when I've caught mice in one of the (many) traps in the basement. Well, the crows like them too - and it's kinda funny to see a crow SWOOP and pick one up from the rock on which I always place one when I find it in a trap - and I know they're cawing, and not saying "nahah, nahah"- but it almost sounds like that as they literally dive bomb the Owl, and fly around it, until it gets SO harrassed, it leaves.
Guess what I've named My Owl, and I keep telling it to put the crows on Block/Ignore!

The two Brenda's!
Bren and Naniam in Hickory, NC
Sorry the pics are so big ... yikes. We had a wonderful day and the weather was fantastic. Brenda treated me to lunch as an early birthday present.
Glenna ... Brenda (Naniam) said to say hi to you!
hugs,
Bren

-
OMG .... the pictures are huge!

-
Beautiful, beautiful ladies. Naniam - love your hat! And BinVa - you shrunk!
-
Great pix Bren! You look fabulous as does Naniam! Hope you had fun.

Glenna; GREAT NEWS!!
Cheryl: Glad to see you're still here with us and haven't been banished to Siberia.
Well, I have a bad feeling about the interview. They said I'd hear within a week. I could be wrong, but unfortunately I think I gave too honest a reply to a couple questions. The interview was not what I thought it would be, either. Oh well. The good news is DH's case has been dismissed - which means his firm won. He's been working 15 hours a day, seven days a week, for the past five months or so. We're seizing the opportunity to run up to Vermont for a few days.
-
Alexandria - Sorry about the interview. Maybe you are dodging a bullet. Vermont sounds like a nice place to be, so enjoy.
-
Cheryl...Yay !!!! Enjoy your drink.
Love the pics gals. You are gorgeous ladies and glad you got together.
As for somber, depressed, everything is not quite right people, it at least gives us something that we know we don't want to be.....but I went through my trial by fire ( not happy about much ) and it was a huge help to be around people who were happier, more energetic with a strong up-beat outlook. I apparently wasn't that bad off.....because as soon as I felt I could......I demanded 'change' from myself. I think most people probably have some dessert period....where they have temporarily lost pace, and become a little unsure and hopefully see it and are able to get a foot hold and turn it around.
I had a nice day....even if it was a working day. See you later.
Jackie

Sipping a very nice drink and enjoying the company of my sisters.

Love your good news Glenna!!
Very creative there susie ... I'm picturing you riding along with your twisty ties flapping in the breeze intimidating those magpies. Whatever works says I.
Then I see two beautiful Brendas having a good time. Looks like you had a lovely day for the drive and visit too.
As for you Ms. Cherryl
... two lashes with a wet noodle. And a double of the drink of your choice. Now I'm being interrupted so will wave hello and good-by to you all at the same time!
-
YAY Glenna!

-
Lovely pics Bren
Good to see Cheryl back with us and Blue - miss you when you are gone for a day.
-
Love the pictures Brenda and Brenda. I'm going to take a break from reality tonight and watch a bunch of guys beating up on each other .... Thursday Night Football. had my son and his family over for granddaughter's birthday and I'm worn out. The 5 year old is a wild thing and the 9 month old is a sweetie! Fun, fun, fun! I need a drink but I'll have to settle for a Shirley temple!
-
Beautiful pic of the two Brendas. Looks like a beautiful day in Hickory. Wish I could have been with you.
-
Beautiful Brendas!
Just read that Kathy Bates has had a double Mx, after beating ovarian 8 years ago. I loved her in Harry's Law and was so mad that it was cancelled. Anyhow, I know we're all wishing her well.
-
Bren and Naniam----------Such a lovely picture of the two of you! The setting you are in just adds to the loveliness. You both look so Happy and Relaxed. Bren, is your birthday this month, mine was the 3rd.
Happy Day, everyone.Glad the pastor is back. Is everyone here where they should be?---kad2kar

I loved Kathy Bates' statement that having the double mastectomy wasn't as bad as having Harry's Law cancelled.
-
There are so many reasons I love that woman!
