Holy carp! I didn't know that Patzee was Official Board Police! Or is she just hamming it up, only to have egg on her face tomorrow? Oh well, you say tomato, I say tomahto, we're all different. I don't have a beef with anyone, but maybe that's because I'm too chicken to respond to cheesy comments.
Wishing everyone whirled peas,

Could I have your Special Dark miniatures? They are my favorite...
-
Yes you can, Ang! I am always looking for people to give them to. I have already given some away, but I will save the rest for you!

Nothinghaschanged is that the same as saying someone is nucking futs.

E -- You made me laugh so loud the cats' tails fluffed up like crazy!
Alpal -- if you identify with any of those mentioned by name, then I think you are possibly dysfunctional (but I truly, sincerely hope not!)
nhc -- Haven't heard of histrionic personality disorder but it sounds fascinating! Research please!
-
I'll bite. (Oops...am I allowed to say that? Forkgive me!)
-
nhc - sounds fascinating! Please research for us!

Puns -- the lowest form of pastry. E, hang your head in shame

Thank you

Thanks, Debbie. We seem to have someone who thinks talking about what we are having for dinner is bullying. Hopefully she will realize that we love to eat. Thanks for stopping by.
-
LOL @ Linda! Was that another pun? Beets me!
Mods...you are seeing support in action. We lost a dear, dear friend this week and are dealing with it as we do - with humor and dinner talk.
:-)

Can we discuss advice about dinner, or is that really against the rules?
-
E, so love your pun. And you, too, Linda.
-
Okay I'll make 3

I donut have a clue what you people are talking about.
I think we have devoted at least 100 pages of thi thread which was started in January to food talk. My sincerest apologies if that was bullying.
-
Donut have a clue....hahahahaha!
-
Sounds like Lindsay Lohan up there, NHC.

I just returned from the store to find my favorite folks are cooking again!
Barbara .. if there was some way I could get to your house fast, I'd be there for dinner. And the chocolate sounds good too.
Rosemary .. you're too funny.
This is the funniest thing I've read yet ... our dinner conversation is bullying. If anybody is getting bullied, it's me cause I'm hungry and have no one to cook for me. wahhh. Think I've got a protein bar around here somewhere and a diet Pepsi!
hugs all round,
Bren

Interesting post NHC. But then I think the Axis II diagnoses are interesting. Guess another name for histrionic personality disorder could be "drama queen." I had a gal ask me once if I thought she was a drama queen, which she was, and I just told her to go with it. Might as well be proud of it and use it to your best interests. Everything was a scene with this friend. It wore me down after awhile.

Thanks to AnnNYC for reminding us this is a thread in the "Growing our Friendships after Treatment." No one is forcing anyone to post here, great recipes, wonderful spirited women and please, please, please read the original post(OP...oops...could be odd people...snark snuck in) and if anyone wants me to be interested in a PM she received, I'd have to know who sent it.
Why would anyone post a PM, at least 3 times by my count, and not say who sent it. Kinda like believing everything you read on the Internet is true = Rapture, anyone?
edited for typos

My DH better hurry up and get home so that we can go out. I bought a giant (Party Size) bag of M&M's and am about to dig in.Those M&Ms are the only thing that is going to get bullied here. I"m so hungry I could eat a house.
Hey NHC Charlie Sheen?
-
Just got up this morning and find that talking about food is bullying?????????? What planet are we on???
Well, I might as well add my last night's menu. We had lovely hormone free porterhouse steaks with pepper sauce and fries and vegetables - very yummy.

Eating is a Capital Offence! Talking about food is punishable by a slap on the hand.
