    Is it Chasing Amy?

"Yeah, in the sense that they all, sort of, fell down, and then... got up and... started eating each other."

kingjr....going to have to take a break from these boards. I just got some really good news on my latest scans and I don't want to ruin my mood reading some of the other threads, so probably best I stay away and get away from all this cancer stuff. I'll be signing in from time to time for pm's but not daily. Just wanted to let you know I won't be here everyday. I hope the thread continues though, I'd still like to join in when I check in. It's been fun playing this with you (and the others) and you gave me some good hints for movies I haven't seen yet. Thanks fellow movie buff! See you later.

OMG, can't tell you how many times this quote's been thrown around our house!

    Zoolander - hysterical!

My kids love impersonating this guy and especially this line from a really bad movie.

"How'd it get burned? How'd it get burned? HOW'D IT GET BURNED?"

So, kingjr (and anyone else who'd like to contribute), if you had to pick just one....what's your favourite movie? I always like to hear favourites to make sure I haven't missed a really good one.

I might have to say Shawshank Redemption....or maybe American Beauty....ooooh its hard when you love movies!

It would be easier if, say, we could choose by genre....

Oh shit! We have to get home! Zainab's is gonna kill me, I'm on Arab time again!

    What is "Arab time"?

It means I'm late by an hour.  All Arabs are late by an hour, it's genetic, we can't help it.

Edited to add:  Loved The Station Agent!

I think we have kind of the same taste in movies Suzanne since you liked The Station Agent too! Have you seen any of these?

Shotgun Stories, Lars And The Real Girl, Half Nelson?

Here's one from a movie with the most horrific ending ever. OMG! - the book didn't end that way!

    "He's a f*cking kid. He's supposed to be stupid. What's your excuse?"
