Movie Quote Trivia
Comments
-
is it Slumdog Millionaire? if so,
"I will not be threatened by a walking meatloaf"
-
Yes it is.
An American Werewolf In London
"I like me some of them french fried potaters, mmm hmm".
-
No brainer, Sling Blade, which I have seen too many times to count, and is a great movie.
"Should I call you Bullet? Tooth"? You can call me Susan if it makes you happy."
-
Sling Blade is awesome. One of my favourites too!
Snatch? (had to look it up, hope it's right)
Here's another that's probably pretty easy.
"The power of Christ compels you! The power of Christ compels you!....."
-
Yes, you are right.
The Exorcist. Yes, it was an easy one.
Here's an easy one for you
"What we've got here is a failure to communicate"
(one of my all time favorite movie lines)
-
Cool Hand Luke - the most iconic quote of all time!
Just saw this last night and this line cracked me up; not a comedy, though and new to dvd.
"I'm going to start beating the sh*t out of you in the next five seconds".
-
The Grey. Another great line was "_uck faith! Prove yourself!"
"Whose driving this car, Stevie Wonder?"
-
My son plans on being The Grey's Liam Neeson for Halloween.
He's seriously collecting little plastic liquor bottles to tape to his hands! I doubt very much anyone will know what he's supposed to be....whatever makes him happy, I guess. At least where I live, we'll have the weather for it.
Die Hard
"Must be tough to find a girl who could take a punch nowadays".
Hint: I had to be talked into watching this because the title was ridiculous (sounded like one of those dumb teen street movies) but much to my surprise, it was really good, and happened to have one of my favourite actors in it. Not what I thought it would be.
-
Warrior - great movie line. Needed a little help with this one since I have not seen the movie yet but will check it out.
"Cold weather makes people stupid and that's a fact"
-
Kalifornia
"A rabbi and a priest attend a boxing match. They watch as the boxers come into the ring. The rabbi sees one of the boxers cross himself. So the rabbi turns to the priest and asks, "What does that mean?" The priest says, "Not a damn thing if the man can't fight."
(Remake)
-
Flight of the Phoenix (again I needed help)
"Well, this piece is called, "Lick My Love Pump"
-
Spinal Tap.
"They're coming to get you, Barbara".
-
Ah, Night of the Living Dead, the 1960's version, not those crappy remakes
"Back and to the left"
-
I had to cheat on this one and I'm still not sure it's right.
JFK?
"Are you the kind that sees signs, that sees miracles? Or do you believe that people just get lucky?"
-
Yes, JFK and yours Signs. I liked when they showed the alien on TV. My favorite line from that movie was "There's a monster outside my room, can I have a glass of water"
"I'll sleep with you for a meatball"
-
I love M. Knight Shyamalan movies. So many people didn't like Signs, but it's one of my favourites.
Victor, Victoria
"We'll have to learn the metric system. We gotta buy coats and sweaters and learn hockey and all that sh*t".
Hint: (might be hard to find). Comedy with three guys talking about how much trouble they're in and having to move to Canada.
-
I saw this movie about a month ago on Netflix - Horrible Bosses. My favorite line was "I'd like to bend her over a barrel and show her the fifty states."
"Follow me, or perish, sweater monkeys"
-
Had to look this one up.
Bring It On
"And I get to tend the rabbits".
(I loved the out-takes on Horrible Bosses; Jason Sudeikis is very clever)
-
Of Mice and Men (I love old John Malkovich)
"Those who are tardy do not get fruit cup"
-
High Anxiety
"Boo only comes out at night when you're asleep and it's pitch-dark".
-
To Kill a Mockingbird - I only know this because it's my DH's favorite movie and book and he quotes it regularly. :-)
"Now you're being rude, and I hate rude people."
-
I just saw this 2 nights ago - Hannibal (loved the books and movies)
"Where was ya Wang? We was worried."
-
Murder by Death (I had to cheat)
"It's the lemon drops; they're magic! You take one and you forget about your breathing".
(This is such a good movie. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it)
-
In America (I had to cheat too, never saw this movie)
"Beautiful, naked, big-titted women just don't fall out of the sky, you know."
-
Dogma
Here's an easy one.
"I am not an animal. I am a human being!"
-
The Elephant Man
here's an easy one too
"You're killin' me Smalls."
-
The Sandlot? (I'm not 100% sure)
"Jesus, she's burning up. How is that possible? She's been dead for an hour".
-
Legion
"It ain't white boy day is it?"
-
True Romance (This one was easy for me...my husband LOOVVES this movie, but I can't handle seeing that James Gandolfini guy on my screen)
Here's an easy one.
"I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you?"
-
No brainer ......... Good Fellows.......I use those lines all the time. Here's a good one,
"All every woman really wants, be it mother, senator, nun, is some serious deep-dickin'".
