I use to get fun puns all the time about my name "dont't squeeze the charmain" haha

Was posting quite often on BC forum up to about just over a month ago.  Unfortunately it became very, very hot in our apartment as management was upgrading our AC and it was difficult for me to sit in my computer room with my over heating... and my computer kept shutting down because it was getting over heated.  They just turned on the AC in our apartment a couple weeks ago.

Also for the past month or so I have been getting really bad migraines, and therefore have not really been on the net that much...

I am happy to be back socializing with you ladies again and I so look forward to the GT August 8th and to meeting you all.  

Be great to see you too again Kathleen and thank you so much for the ride to Niagara on the Lake!

Charmaine -- thanks for the warning!  I feed peanuts to the Jays and Cardinals, so I'll be putting them (the nuts, that is!) outside in a jar with a tight-fitting lid!

I figured it out!!! Monday is a holiday here and I have to work. Which is fine with me as I then get stat pay. Sooooo, I also get a lieu day. So my lieu day with be August 8th. I can be off guilt-free!!! Hope to see y'all next Sunday!

Just doing a quick update.  Confirmed are Enjoyful, Lassie, PIP, Charmaine, Mumayan, Dreamwriter, Frankie & fellow BC guest, Sugar, BlueDahlia, hrf and Barbe.

Still waiting to hear from Janet, Covertanjou and Leprechaun.  Haven't heard from Konakat but if you've been following her thread, it sounds as though her tx are being especially hard for her.  I think we'll have to eat some chocolate on Sunday in her honour.   (((((((Elizabeth)))))))

Did I leave anyone out?  Don't forget your wee donation to the Cdn Breast Cancer Foundation.  If you wish a receipt, please make your donation in the form of a cheque with name and address.  Otherwise, all cash will be deposited and I'll send a total donation cheque in honour of each of you.  I really like supporting the CBCF because they provide much-needed research grants to our wonderful Canadian scientists.

PIP, tell DH that there's a Kinsmen Car Show happening on Sunday (I think it's autos from the 50's and 60's -- BIG fin jobs!).

I am sorry I haven't confirmed yet.  I was waiting to see when my hubby wanted to take our road trip to Boston.  It is definitely this weekend, so I won't be able to make it to NOTL.  I will be sorry to miss you all, but I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful time!  Maybe I can make it to the next one.

Hi all, I'm back in Mississauga now.  Had a wonderful time meeting up with you all in NOTL. Linda thanks so much for your hospitality.  Your house is beautiful and the view is absolutely lovely.  I'm so glad I made the trip. My daughter has already had one of the pink ribbon cookies that were sent home with me. We're all stocked up on local peaches, plums and rasberries as I couldn't resist stopping at a fruit market on my way home. Looking forward to seeing you all again in the future!
