    Meece, at least you are getting time to contemplate all the bad options. Kudos for not buying soda!

    hi birdies!  Friday check in = 3 points

    Can't remember last weight so zero points = 0 points

    Exercise = 20 points (lots of walking last week, in 100 degree heat)

    Daily H2O = 7 points (do I get bonus points for Gatorade - blech!)

    Extra credit = 1 point – traveled to D.C. last week to meet up with some BCO sisters – FUN!!

    Total = 31

    I've set a goal of losing 10 pounds by Christmas (5 months).  Anyone else up for the challenge?

    Meece, I avoid the snack machine by bringing my own snacks to work.  If you can have nuts, try the 100-calorie packs of natural almonds.  Good for portion control, they pack a protein punch and are lower fat than most nuts.  Keeps the tummy happy for a while.  I also pack fresh fruit in a cute little 1/2 cup tupperware container.

    Heavy eyelids Roadrunner checking in: 3 pts

    Weight 187.6: not sure what it was last time here but I'm not nice like badger, I'm claiming 1 point for maintaining since I seem to be keeping steady

    Water = 7 pts.  Been doing good on that front.  Probably still recovering from water loss last weekend in DC!

    Exercise = 15 pts, mostly due to DC heatfest!

    Extra - 1 pt - had routine mammo this week.  No callback so results should be clean.

    Total = 27 pts. (a high for me! - thanks MD/DC friends!)

    I am still higher than I was.  Been through blood work and now an MRI this past Thursday.  I really can't wait to see my onc next Tuesday.  I am so tired of this.

    I'd reset my goal for 10 pounds if I thought a smaller goal would help!

    reset it anyway.  Heck, reset to 5 lbs. because smaller goals are easier to manage.  Hmmmm, think I will reset to lose 2 by Friday.

    MAybe I will.  My Dr called me personnally this afternoon.  All my tests/scans are in and she still has no answers. My D and B levels were very low, but since going on 2000iu of D per day, my symptoms are better, but it could just be timing, too.  I will start Vit B shots this week as well.  Taking all my test results to my Onc on Monday to make sure she doesn't make me re-do them.

    Hello Ladies!! Lost roadrunner here. It's been too long since I last dropped by. Hope you are all doing well - it's great to see some of the original flock are staying so loyal! I should join you again as I'm too near the 200lb mark and not controlling it too well. I'm trying to muster my will power but it's hard. Keep up the good work ladies - it's lovely to see you all again.

    RoadRunner checking in:

     Friday Check in =3 points

    Weight 228# = 0 points.

    Water = 7 points

    Exercised =  4 points

    Extra Credit--= 1 point--drinking ice tea instead of soda

    Total =  15  points.

    OK, I've been at 225# all week.  Yesterday they bring in Olive Garden soup, salad and breadsticks for the lunch meeting.  I ate sensibly, really I did, but there is so much salt on the breadsticks that I swear the gain is only water retention!  I only ate 2 bread sticks.  Yes, I had 2 small bowls of soup, but no salad dressing on the salad for me.  So not fair, especially since I'll be back at 225# tomorrow am, watch and see!

    Ainm!!  Welcome back!  Please don't be discouraged.  I hit 200 lbs PFC and have dropped 30 since then - 3 years.  I'd really like to drop 10 more.  160 sounds like a lot but it's a good weight for me.

    NM, Olive Garden, yum!  Hard to resist but I would have to skip the breadsticks because wheat triggers a carb frenzy in me.  An easy way to avoid hidden fat is to use salad dressing that's clear not creamy.

    OK it is Thursday night so see you tomorrow!  ♥

    Oh, brother, now I have revealed myself as totally "calendarly challenged"!  What's worse, I weigh a pound more this am than I did on whatever day that was I posted!

    Oh well, now to start a new week

    Smile, everyone!

    I'm still hanging around... I've been kinda of bad lately. Still having issues not being able to eat correctly at work so I've been eating bad at home.  LOL! had 2 donuts today and some pizza Undecided  I know right.  I should try to be good at least on my days off.  But on a positive I haven't really gained any weight back I'm hanging out at about 155 156... I just wish I could get below the 150 mark.  It really gets discouraging.  I know as well as anyone.  I so want to weight what I did years ago and that was 136.  But how I can ever lose another 20 lbs behooves me?
