Roadrunner checking in
3 pts for Friday - still Friday to me!
0 pts for weight up, dang it. 223.8. Sigh.
13 pts for exercise - mostly walking an arts festival for 5 hours judging - 60 seconds at each booth didn't give me much time to dally! My assistant, who only came up to my elbow (OK, that's an exaggeration, but she was short!) had to walk twice as fast as me! Too bad I couldn't get those calories burned, too!
7 pts for water - getting better when I have it in my office
1 extra point for more green days than red - 4.25 vs 2.75
24 pts! Wow - most i've had in awhile.
-
114 points woo hoo! Per-person average of 22.8 is our best ever!
-
Zogo--I'm curious, doe cauliflower "fauxtatoes" taste like mashed potato? I've never been fond of cauliflower, kinda bland, but this sounds intriguing.
Patoo--HOORAY for an all time points high!!!!!
Badger--I can't wait to be able to start gardening, bet your philodendrons are VERY happy!
Bookart--CONGRATS for hitting a high again!
We done great, gals!!!! Keep it up!!!

Well since I am working dayshift it is really hard to remember to get on here on Fridays and post but right now I am plateaued again. Ugh!!!!!! Oh well... part of the problem is that on day shift I am not getting to eat right or go to the "potty" right. LOL! If I eat before I leave for work like grapefruit and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, which is a few days a week... then I usually don't get to eat lunch. Some days when I get home at 4:00p.m. I will eat a snack and then we have dinner at 7:30. Some days I will have a biscuit and a piece of sausage and nibble on it all day at work for 8 hrs grabbing a bite here or there and that is all I eat all day till dinner. I usually only drink one drink, *8oz from the time I leave for work at 6:20 till I get home at 3:45 or 4 pm. I am up on my feet for almost the entire 8 hrs with the exception of maybe 30 mins. I go in a run all day. But believe it or not I have not dropped not one pound. But I haven't gained any either. So that's a plus but I really did want to be down another 10-15 lbs by summer. What to do? There simply isn't time at work to sit down and eat. I have to take lunch so I clock out, keep working and clock back in. If I don't do this then I get so far behind I can't catch up. If it weren't for Sundays I wouldn't get caught up on my charting at all. geesh! I made me tired talking about it. LOL!! have a great week.
-
@NM- Fauxtatoes, according to my family, are nothing like mashies. But, with cream cheese and butter in them, some salt and pepper, how can they not be good? It's mostly about the texture with a roast or meat for that home cooked meal and still low carb.
Mimi, they are lucky to have you at that hospital!! I hope you get the weekend off...they work you too hard!
Friday ~ 3 pts
Water ~ 7 pts
Exercise ~ 10 pts
Wt (169.8) ~ 2 pts (DOWN out of the 170's!!!) Hope it sticks!
Extra credit ~ 1 pt ~ Drove an hour to get special blood work at my lipidologists office.
Total ~ 23 pts

I am back. Been out of state visiting with new granddaughter and her family. They don't have a scale in the house. I would have thought with all of the running around I did I would have burned some calories. I doubt it now. I will weigh once I've had my coffee and got up out of bed.

RoadRunner checking in:
Friday Check in = 3 points ,
Weight 227# = 0 points
Water = 5 points
Exercised = 5 points
Extra Credit--= 1 point brown bagged lunch 4 out of 5 days this week.
Total = 14 points.
Not fair. I've eaten far few calories consistently this week and I STILL gained 3 pounds just because I ate some salted popcorn. I counted those calories, too! I new I was sodium sensitive, but this is ridiculous
-
Zogo--hmm, cream cheese, butter, salt and pepper, fauxtatoes should taste pretty good!
Meece--I bet visiting with the new grandbaby was HUGE fun! And that kind of time is WAY more important than your weight, anyway.
-

NM, try a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on unsalted popcorn.
-
Patoo--we all seem to have our tough spots, don't we?
Badger--usually I make unsalted popcorn at home. This week I ate out with friends at a place that puts popcorn on the table instead of bread. I really limited how much of it I ate and tried to drink extra water but it looks like I'm stuck with some water weight for a while until it decided to come off. Sigh.
84 points, not bad, ladies!
-
Missed Friday check in, but thought I would drop by tonight.
Lost a fraction 223.4, but at least that is down from high of 225 this week. I really don't know what is going on.

I came by here Friday and totally flaked on posting. At least I am still 173 but at least I am not heavier.
I worked every day last week which I think helps a lot. At least I do not have access to the pantry and fridge all day.
-
Meece--not having access to food is a good thing!
-
I agree. Stopped by a fruit stand Saturday and bought nectarines and apricots. They make a good morning snack.
-

Roadrunner checking in
Friday check-in = 3 points
Weight down from last week = 2 points
Exercise = 16 points
Daily H2O = 7 points
Extra credit = 1 point – been making fresh fruit salad that I’ve taken for lunch every day. Also good to have in the ‘fridge for a sweet snack attack. The dressing is easy – take a cup of your favorite Greek yogurt and thin it with a little milk. This week, I have strawberries, pear, apple, and blood orange segments. Last week I had mango, apple & pear. Can’t wait for blueberries!
Total = 29

-
Roadrunner checking in. It is Friday, right?
3 pts
0 pts weight up - 224.2, my Thursday bugaboo got me again. Can't seem to get down enough during the week to make a difference before Thursday.
More red days than green this week - 1/2 green day for 30 minutes exercise, 1/2 green for veggie/salad/fresh food days.
7 pts water - good this week.
2 pts exercise (the week before I ad a really good week - of course, I forgot to check in that week!) We've had a sick dog, who has needed tons of hands-on care, so when i wasn't in the studio or at work or at school, that's what I've been doing - not much time left for exercise. Did take the other dogs out twice, which is the only exercise I've gotten.
12 pts
-
Yay Ladies! That's a total of 106 so far for this week
-
Zogo--Congrats on reaching your running/jogging goal! Good for you! I admire you gals who can run or jog.
Badger--Great dressing idea, I will have to steal it! Fruit salad is great!
Patoo--I've read about putting cucumber and lime slices in water, does it really taste good?
Bookart--sick pets are a lot of work, but so worth it. Hope puppy gets better soon!
106 points for the week, hooray! We done good!
