We are with you today, Meece. You are not alone here. Prayers are still coming. -
Thank you. I just keep thinking that it can't be "C" because he's already been through so much. It's going to be okay no matter what we find out. -
He's worried about being able to get back home tonight in time to go work at Awanas! -
As of the phone call 30 minutes ago, the US results appear cancerous. He will have blood work for tumor markers tomorrow and I will take another day off work and take him back to VA on Friday.
God IS good, and for everything there is a season and a purpose to everything under Heaven. -
Oh Meece..I have no words just lots of love and Prayers for Matt
♥ ♥ -
Thank you so much, Sheila.
I've held together pretty well until I had to tell my boss I needed to take Friday off. I must call on that strength (God's grace) that brought me through my journey which started 10 years ago this week. -
Lord, We are unable to see the big picture, but know that you can & do. I lift Matt & Meece to you now. Cover them with your strength, your peace, your love, your comfort and your wisdom. Give them courage to face the upcoming battle with grace & perseverance. We know that you have the power to lift this diagnosis off Matt & we ask that if it be in your Will to do just that. We know you are the God of miracles and that is what we humbly request at this time. Father God, you are the Great Physician and thy will be done today and everyday. Thank you for the gift of your Son and the celebrations that will be happening soon to honor that gift. Give Matt & Meece the tools to strip the power of this latest blow and may all that they do and say be a reflection of your Grace and Glory. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen. -

Amen -
Amen.
And Eph, thank you for praying what we all feel.
Kathy -
my prayers are with you and Matt, also Meece. We never Know what the Lord has in His Mind for us, but it says always for our good.. Sometimes we ( I know I do) wonder how This can be for our good.. Still, we trust Him. What else can we do, when He holds all things in His hands?>>>
I'm in shock, but praying all things good, for you and Matt. To drawon His strenghth, both of you..there aren't any words..

Amen, I'm a lurker but hang I'm there Meece. He that started a good thing in you will bring it to completion. -
Thank you for letting me know you are here, SchoolCounselor.
Thank you all for your prayers. -
My prayers are with you and Matt as well.
-
8 hours at the VA hospital and nearly 5 on the road today. surgery is scheduled for wednesday . This changes plans for thanksgiving as Matt will be recuperating with us and ds3 cannot come to our house because he cant leave his territory since he is on call.
-
Still praying -
Me too. It is well..., -
It will be a different Thanksgiving for sure, Meece, but one you will never forget. The intimate time with your son will be special and necessary for you both.
Remember:
We are spirits experiencing a human existence, not humans experiencing a spiritual existence.
I am always a little excited about finally going Home, though I do love life here on Earth. When my best friend died 13 years ago, I knew I was crying because I wasn't going with her......
You are not alone in your fear for your son, Meece and all our prayers and love are with you. This has to be the toughest challenge you have faced yet. -
This has to be fastest I've ever seen the VA work. From his concern something was wrong to his first visit to the clinic to surgery will be 21 days. God is directing this to expedite Matt on his way to recovery. The Dr. yesterday pulled as many strings as she could to get as much done in one day as she could. He still has to go down there Monday for the Pre-Op. I can't go because I have a job interview on that day, but all his pre-op will be for is the "paperwork" part of it. Yesterday he had a CT scan and EKG and pharmacy consult to get him off coumadin pre-op. -
Praying for your family Meece -
Continued prayers, Meece.

Meece, checked into bco tonight to see how all of you are doing. I am so sorry to hear about Matt. I would go through a cancer dx a million times over if it meant health for my children, and I know you would easily do the same. Nothing worse than a sick child, especially dx with cancer. I and my family will be praying for you and Matt. Jeremiah 29: He is the God of all flesh, nothing is too difficult for Him. II Cor. 1:19...all His promises are yes.
(((hugs))) -
Amen. And thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
Sort of funny, I was praying as I was driving today and caught myself say "if You could find a way..." I took that back and said, "I know You have a way and if You could help me see it" -
Amen Meece, that is my continual prayer. Lord, Just help me see more clearly your plan.
You and mike are still in my prayers... -
Thank you. Matt seems to be in good spirits. His best friend from the Air Force will be visiting family about 4 hours from here, and he will come visit Matt this weekend. -
(((♥HUGS♥))) -
Thank you! -
So what day is surgery? Where? I have a friend that went to UCSF yesterday to have a brain tumor excised tomorrow. Fortunately it appears to be benign; she will be awake for part of it while they touch different parts to make sure things like speech etc dont' get messed up. -
Meece; although the plans changed for thanksgiving, you will be blessed to be at your home, caring for your son. A redo is in order for thanksgiving, with the others there , later this year.. Praers that they get it all, and his recoup goes easily..
God is def. at work, the VA NEVER is that fast!!!
Know that many prayers for you all are coming from so. fla..
Have a happy and spirit filled Thanksgiving, all of you...

Right now iIt is 3:45 am on Wednesday morning. I am sitting here with my coffee waiting to leave for the hospital. Matt's surgery is at 8 am, 4 hours and 15 minutes away. I have faith that the surgery will be a success, he caught it early. When they scanned it last week it is just over 1 cm.
Thank you all for your prayers. It means so much to me.
