Until I was in the 9th grade we never lived in a neighborhood with kids younger than DB and I were, then there was only one famikly with two little ones. The father was the Dentist that had given Dad the ostomylitis that nearly killed him and that kept him from working for almost 4 years. I've always thought he must have felt a guilty. If she paid mi I always got the going rate of 35 cents an hour and any thing less than a full hour was 20 cents. If the Dr. paid I always got a minimumof $20 andmore if they were out late.

I babysat for a family that left heir two week old baby with me when I was 15 or 16. I watch kids from that age on up. I also cared for children with Cerebal palsy, Cycstic Fibrosis, Hip displacement, and other maladies. I guess I was a trustworthy young lady. I really was miss goody two shoes. You didn't have to worry about what I was doing when your kids were in my care. I had a list of over 100 children I babysat regularly. -
Prayers again, please. Matt is facing yet another health scare/issue. We are at the mercy of the VA to get answers and it could possibly be somewhere into Dec. before he gets an appointment. -
Praying for Matt -
As am I.,
-
Thank you both so much. I know I need to be strong for him, so please pray for that as well. He's been through so much. -
Prayers for Matt, and also for you.
Kathy -
Thank you. I am so near tears right now, don't know if I am feeling sorry for myself or just overwhelmed. -
Meece.....Is this related to the same issue that brought him back home?

your grandson is beautiful (handsome) congrats Mum its so cool to be a grandma!g" my neuro says that's another name for chemo..haha
Anyway; it's the only one available to me, cause the BC was estrogen based. This one "hides" new tumors, so its' scary, lots of side effects, but after Taxotere, nothing is as scary!!
Meece, I'm so happy came to his senses. That's the hard part of being a mum.. letting them learn their own lessons, and asking God to take care of them in the meantime.
Miss you all, and pray for you all. 3jays -
No, Sheila, not related. He will be going through screening for the big "C". -

Just two more weeks and Matt has an appointment for an ultrasound on the 20th. I will be taking him to the VA that day. I hope that we get results right away. -
I remember how quickly things happened when I showed my GP my lump. I had an appointment for a mamogram and ultrasound within 4 days, a biopsy within the week, surgery scheduled within the same two week period. Surgery was only postponed one week when bx came back malignant and my surgeon wanted me to weigh the options. -
Things went fast for me too. When I found my lump I saw my PCP day after I called him. Mamo and ultrasound the same week and biopsy taken. Promised PCP would have results by Friday. Friday moring at 8:05 (PCP usually gets to office about 8 after hospital rounds) Dr called with diagnosis and to tell me he had asked his staff to make appointment with my surgeon - who had removed my gall bladder. While he was talking his nurse interupted to say the appointment was for Tuesday. Surgery was Thursday. Then things slowed down a bit. Took two weeks for 1st oncology consultatin and another two weeks for the radiology mapping.

Meece.....Thinking of you and Matt

Thank you. Only 8 days until the ball starts rolling. Hopefully it won't need to roll far and we will get benign results right away. -

That you so very much, 3jays. You are an inspiration to me. -
Meece You & Matt are in my thoughts and Prayers -
Thank you, Sheila. Today he goes for an ultrasound. This is step two if you count the GP's exam. He has no idea when he'll get results, who is to follow up with him, or much of anything. That's why I am going with him.
