We held our annual koi show this past weekend and had absolutely perfect weather!  Usually the evenings are cold and the mornings are pretty chilly.  I never even put a sweater on, which is my idea of perfection.

Oooh you have reminded me, I need to start preparing for winterizing!  All of the sudden we will go from these days in the 70s and 80s and the nights will crash into the frost zone!

We have had several rather cool mornings, lows in the low 30's with some frost on the ground, but warm afternoons.

This morning I went to my mom's house to work together on some sewing  projects for the church bazaar Nov 12, Dad had a small fire in the woodstove to help take the morning chill off. The bad thing is my sewing area was in the living room with the woodstove, I had mom bring me a fan to keep air flowing around me so I wasn't so hot.

I would love some colder weather (so I can wear my hats)

It is still hot and muggy here.

Weather is just about perfect here right now.  Usually the weather is mild until after Halloween.

Beautiful days upward toward high 60s & cold nights!  Went to a soccer game last night & between the temp & winds I felt like it was mid-December.  As my DD said, what a lousy time to NOT have a hot flash!

Today is finally in the 30's, we've had NO freeze/frost at all yet this Fall, very unusual for our area (Upstate NY).  It's to snow later today/tonite and then 20's at night, so finally we will kill the pesky mosquitoes/ticks that have lingered way too long.   Sorry for the "S" word!   ;)

It snowed today, nothing stuck, just a foretaste of things to come.  By Sunday it is supposed to be in the 50's, much more to my liking!

Yeah-the "S" word is not welcome here!  At least as far as I'm concerned!  Daytime temps creeping up into mid to high 60s, but those nighttime temps are very cold.

Today highs in the upper 70's lows in the mid 40's, tomorrow highs projected in the upper 40's with rain in the forecast. It is supposed to stop raining Saturday and start warming back up. no "S" in my forecast yet. Although they did have snow in the upper elevations (about 30 miles up the mtn) about 3 weeks ago, just snow showers, it was the earliest that they have had snow.

Nice day today but tonight is bitter.  Just got home from bowling and although the temp reads 49 it feels like the thirties with the wind coming in from the ocean.

oh juli, I'm so sorry, it is way too early, though I do remember taking my daughter (who is now 43), trick or treating in snowsuit and boots one year.  How much did you get?  Karen

Hi Karen:  Well, since I'm originally from Syracuse (snowbelt region, up towards Oswego, don't miss it, lol)....we got a piddling...it's still covering the ground, maybe 1-2 inches?   Which as you know is nothing.   But yeah, I remember bringing my kids trick-or-treating in the snow....ugh.  Costume OVER the winter coats, so I hear ya there!   It'll go away...we just had our first frost/freeze last night, has been just way too warm this year, hope it kills the ticks/mosquitoes now.  (and germs?!)

    BEST to you...enjoy Halloween!   ~juli

What's it doing in your neck of the woods?

Yesterday was stunningly gorgeous. Blue, blue, sky, mid50s.  It sprinkled last night & today is overcast but supposed to clear up & be nice again.

    What an amazing Autumn!

WNY, it is 58 and cloudy, supposed to be the 50's, then mid 40's for the rest of the week.  Can't complain, a little sunshine would be nice though..

After a week of on again off again rain, I woke up today to a clear sky, sun shine beaming through my window and the sounds of my back yard waterfall...........nice.

I'ts 12:50 pm and 70 degrees.  I'm thinking of taking a dip in the pool!

Yesterday we had the tail end of that storm the ravaged Alaska.  This morning was much better but still unseasonably cold, windy and rain.  The wind has calmed a bit since noon and it is a bit warmer with showers.

It has been unseasonably cold here the past couple of days (Low Friday night in the 20's, high Saturday in the mid 40's) but expected to warm up to normal temps this week (lows in the upper 30's highs in the upper 60's).

We had a tiny bit of rain Friday and Saturday but not really measureable.  Yesterday t was nice and sunny t-shirt weather so I decided to put up my plants in the greenhouse.  I was out there for several hours getting plants "cleaned" up for the winter.  When I can in later, Dh noticed I had got sunburned on my face.

We have been enjoying unseasonably mild weather for November. Yesterday - 15 degrees C - not much sunshine but enjoyed a walk with our black lab. Today much the same - still able to put clothes on the clothes line - love it!

I have no idea what the weather is expected to do today.  It makes it difficult to know just how to dress.  I am taking steroids and they tend to make me warmer, so I tolerate the cool weather better, but it wil lonly last a few more days until I am off of them.

It is  COLD this morning! we have 25 degrees outside. Considering Saturday and Sunday we had lows in the 50's and highs in the upper 60's. Today the high is only expected to get up to the middle 50's.

We had a cool morning yesterday but the fog topped it all off!  I could not see the end of the block from our driveway.  It was less than 200 ft visablity.

Yesterday we had rain all day. today is cloudy and temperature is dropping through the day from mid 40's to low 30's and chance of rain at 50%. Tonight temp around 32 with chance of snow but no significant accumulation. What exactly do they mean no significant accumulation, it is not even December yet and they are saying the 'S' word! I know the ski resorts up the mtn want the snow but I don't want it here!

Did anyone get affected by the harsh winter storm that moved through the SouthWest?

Weather here has been mild.   A coat is necessary when you go to work in the morning, but not by 10 am.  I was difficult to feel that Christmas is so near when we were Christmas shopping Saturday and I was wearing a short sleeved top and got warm!  (No hot flashes, just sun shine).  Usually by this time the fog has set in and it feels a bit more Christmasy.

Hope all of you are well and ready to enjoy a lovely Christmas holiday with friends and family.
