I don't see the "Escape" mascot either
Dad-burnit. I wonder what happened?Deborye--I can't tell you have a buzz, so I guess the shine outweights the buzz....LOL.
Hey Paula....your car is awesome!!! I bet KAK could get all of us in that car with no problem. We could ride and ride and ride. Again, I say, you're blessed to have your SO. Wooohooooot
Good morning to all Escapees!! Happy weekend to all!!!
OH--SoCalLisa, I bet that's right near your house, isn't it? Oohhhh, I wish I lived there!!
-
I still don't see it Sharon
-
Well that is strange.........I can see it!
-
Good Morning Ladies,
Sharon51
I'm sad I can't see the boat, stiil a big empty square ! boo hoo I love that boat,
SoCalLisa, looks like San Diego to me is it ?? Beautifullllllllllllllllllllllllll
Thanks, coonie,
I love that little red car and talk about "early" WP I've had it 3 years now tee hee ! wedding next July. I think it just sounded like a good excuse to get it. Yeah he's a keeper.
We go to PS today part of my incision not healing good, it's making him crazy but I know it's not infected, and she'll make it right.
Have a great Friday ! The sun is shining in Nebraska !
Blessings,
Paula

try right click and a dialog box will come up them choose 'show picture', that's what my puter does.
Mount Washington in New Hampshire is only 6,288 ft high.

-
Little Ol' Lady from Papillion Nebraska, go granny, go granny, go granny go! Could not resist that. Thing is, you don't look like an ol' granny.
I will be 58 next month, no grand kids for a while, dd is a career woman, travels too much.
-
Thanks, deborye ! I love being a Grandma ! They say it's our reward for not killing our kids
)When I think of riding in that car I think of "girls just wanna have fun un "
That is one beautiful mountain.......... I am a picture freak ! I love to take pictures especially of my Grandkids or places we go on vacation. Problem is I'm not in very many pics, cause I'm the taker. Since last year though with the dx and all the kids have been taking more pics of me with their kids.
I tried the right click and show picture and my puter still won't show it dang ! Probably jealous of that nice boat.
Happy Friday Ladies !!
-
I'm the picture taker in our home too. I realized I have so few pix of me! I want to do a Power Point type presentation for my funeral and was thinking of who even has pix of me! I used to do so many things and I don't have the visual proof of what's inside my head! My motorcycle, scuba driving, I drove a tractor trailer, was an auxiallar police officer for Toronto for 7 years, boating, etc!
I did notice that when I got together with my sibs (all out of town/country) in August, they took an awful lot of pictures of me. I think they're thinking the same thing!
-
barbe1958,
well girl the pic that is your avatar is beautiful ! A scuba diver ? My SO is a diver he loves it ! but I am not can't do it, clastopobiac (sp?) I just lay on the beach and wave byeeeeeeeeee with my mudslide and my book
) You are a women of many talents BUT stop that talk about power point for a funeral ! nuff of that !Blessings,
Paula
-
I'm afraid of water and I can't swim, so I stretched my comfort zone and dove. I've been to Bonaire, which is off the coast of Venezuela! Less than 2% of the population of the world has seen what your husband and I have seen!
-
Just came in for a break from weed wacking. I have a lot of weeds. Hot out there, but nice, I'm sweating off some pounds, I hope. With only being 4'1" and 140 lbs. I am at least 25lbs overweight, damn. I like to cook and eat. OH well, gotta keep hydrated. ooo, a beer sounds good right now. Puting on the calories I just burnt off.

-
oh deborye................... I have about 15 lbs. to take off and I can't do anything yet, just walk......
barbe 1958,
I think his favorite place so far has been Honduras, Rotan
Going to see my PS ........calgon........take me away !
-
My brothers have had dives in Rotan, I've only heard good things?
-
Well ladies it is the last holiday weekend of the year.I am having my glass of red and intend to escape into this nice weather. Hope everyone follow suit. Have a good weekend.

-
Oop, 4;11".

-
Ah mumayan, the old "path into the distance shot". Looks like a cartoon! (Sad eh? The colours are so clean that it must be fake!)
-
I am so happy that finally the "Escape boat" can be seen at the top of my page

It is sunny in Nebraska this am and my handicapped daughter is spending the week-end with us. Her "Host Mom" is getting a mini vacation this week-end.
Blessings to all,
Paula
-
This morning my escape is coffee and I need alot.

-
Whooooohoooooo. The windjammer mascot has returned to take us out to sea again.
I'm SOOOOOO glad that it wasn't just me that saw the little red box. LOL.
Checkum, did you have to moor it, or did it just cybernetically re-appear on it's own?
This is our final week of escape a la summer Wonderland.
I feel like the sands in the hour glass are slipping away.
This week is 'go-out-to-dinner-with-every-neighbor-who-we-haven't-had-time-with-recently'.
In three meals "out" I'll be able to gain back the 3.5 pounds I lost while biking 730.7 miles so far this season. Ye gads. What a funny balancing act.
Hugs, escapees!!
xx00xx00xx00xx
Deb. I now understand that you've grown ten inches this weekend, right?? You're now 4 foot eleven?? You and Julz are just about the same. You'll have to double check with her for exacts, but I think you're pretty similarly "vertically challenged." I'm glad for your recent growth spurt. (LOL)
-
3.5 pounds!?!?!? Are you kidding me? I almost bought a bike! Whew!
-
You despired me!
-
Yup. I am the poster child for despiring.
Seriously.
3.5 pounds and 730 miles.
How depressing is that?
And these are seriously HILLacious hills.
I've just gotta think that my internal organs are happy, even if there's not a tad bit of evidence for the world to see. LOL.
Go ahead and buy the bike.
We can despire each other all the way to health.
LOL
-
Faith, muscle weighs more than fat. You are becoming more compact!
-
The problem is, I have a TON of muscle! My legs are ripped from walking the floor at work. I can't afford anymore muscle! I need to lose at my belly only. For those who have seen pix, I'm 200 pounds! I'm only 5'5"!!!!
