mum,
I saw his pictures, they are amazing..............................
I love that yellow bird, we've had a couple of very small yellow birds in our garden lately. They seem to love the coneflowers.
-
I LOVE HYDRANGEAS !
-
AND HIBISCUS !!
-
-
Sorry, I just got carried away....... wish you could all sit in my garden for awhile, it's healing
-
I would LOVE to join you Paula. Your garden really does look like a true 'escape'. Thank you for sharing.
-
Hey Paula!!! Welcome! I love your pictures too. Your yard looks heavenly. The grass is so pretty and green. I'd love to escape to your garden too. I LOVE flowers!!! You've come to the right place to escape....we go all kinds of places

Did I see Merilee is back from Mexico?? Girl....you sure took a long escape. Did you have a good time? Silly question, huh? Must have if you spent that long there. Show some pics soon.
Hope Checkum is feeling good! We miss you Checkum. You sure missed a good weddin a few days back. I think we gave Faithie's DD some good idies.....LOL.
Big hugs to you all. Hope you're having a wondermous Wednesday!

Went on my own private Escape yesterday wandering our "neighborhood", the pond across the way, the cattel down the road, the berries in the woods, what a nice relaxing afternoon escape.

-
Can someone explain to me how to manage the size of the pictures? Not sure how to size right.
Thanks
Carol
-
I have some really nice sunset pics but I can't get them to upload to photo bucket

-
Merilee,
I copied and paste mine from Shutterfly, and got it to work.
Carol,
I don't mind the size of your pics, how else could we get the feel of that beautiful brown cow ! you were either very close or have a great zoom. Of course as you can see my pics are just as big (what do I know?)
-
Thanks for the warm welcome coonie
) -
Is there a way to post pics without going through photobucket or flicker?
-
-
It's great to have new escapees. Welcome one and all.
I know Checkum is so happy to have the company.
We've had a great day up here -- escaping into fun & games for the final 10 days of our Grande Escape.
I can't wait to see your Mexican sunsets!!
Much love escapees.

((((((((((hugs to ya all))))))))))))
-
coonie,
I agree deborye has a beautiful smile
)Thanks, my new avatar ? that's me with my Grandson Adam, I call him "my sunshine" He lives in San Antonio with his Dad, Mom, and sister.
-
Awhhh Paula!! He's adorable and definitely "sunshine"!!
And you!! You sure don't look like a grandmother. Did you start having kids at 12? LOL
Beautiful picture!!!
-
OMG ! Thanks coonie ! you are so kind, I'm 59 to be 60 in Febr. my oldest child will be 39 in Dec. I have 3 kids and 9 Grandkids the oldest Grandchild will be 18 in Feb. Now that makes a person feel old !
I have been a widow for 11 years (lung cancer), engaged for 5 yrs. Must wait until after I'm 60 to marry or I lose my benefits. Didn't seem to be that urgent, although I was afraid my SO would think it was urgent when I got my BC diagnosis !
-
My goodness............I'm looking at that pic of you Paula and thinking 59???????? I should look that good at 53 and I AM 53..........ha, and believe me...............I don't look that good!!
Hugs to you and SO. He's obviously a keeper.
-
Great googa mooga Paula. Sharon's right!! My goodness.....you sure don't look like a grandmother. Back in my day (I'm 46, I think
...born 1963...am I 46?) anway, MY grandmothers could hardly walk and had wrinkls EVERYWHERE. LOLSounds like you have a wonderful SO. I'm aware of those benefits. My dad passed away when my mom was 57. She's never remarried though, but was able to get benefits when she turned 60. Wishing you all the VERY best!! It's great to have you here.
-
Thank-you Ladies for all the kind words
) -
Ok sooooo this is my very favorite Escape. Hop in with the top down, get on the interstate and crank up the CD.................... early wedding present from the S.O. Of course living in Nebraska I leave it in the garage from end of Nov. until end of March, but it does make me feel young
) -
Thanks coonie, that was at a company christmans party. Had a Buzz. LOL
Let's escape to the top of Mount Washington Observatory.

-
Wow ! that's awesome...........
how high is that ?
-
This was a nice place to visit...I would like to escape there again

-
Hey Escapees.............
On my computer our 'namesake' sailboat has been replaced with a little red x.
Is it just me??
Has it disappeared from your headings, too??
Checkum -- do you need another copy of it? Where'd it go?? Has it really escaped??
Hugs one and all.
Happy escapes.
