WELCOME HOME!!!!
-
Laura,
I am pratically jumping up and down....I have to be there at 1030 for an 1100 am appointment!!!! I cant wait.
Teresa
-
Teresa - can you PM me Kat's email addy? I promised her that I would send her pictures of Jazzy the last night we were in Vegas.
Hope your appt goes well!
Sandy - give me some of your energy PLEASE!!! I would buy it from you if I could! Can't wait to see all of your pictures.
Gals - a penthouse suite sounds awesome to me! Love the idea of having an area big enough to hold a happy hour, morning coffee, etc.
-
Jancie BACK THE BUS UP!!!! What pics of me the last night??? Hmmm Oh geez I'm SO GLAD that I was intertainment for everybody. :-)
Linda, yes you will need your bra off. And depending on where your scar tissue is that is where they will work. The skin around my incision was very tight, but only on my left side, so most of that work was done on my back. The other tissue she worked on was around the incisions on my breasts...but mostly on my left one since that's where I had all of the problems. Plus she worked on stretching my lat muscles.
Sandy YOU JUST TOTALLY ROCK!!!
-
Jazzygem - you crack me up!!! I was talking about Jazzy, my HORSE! -
Thanks all for the good thoughts. The speaking thing went great today although it was definitely more emotional than I thought it would be. I took each of you in there with me! I have 5 more to do, so we will see if it gets easier.
Jazzy-good luck with the surgery. I know it will go great. Susie-OK, it is time for you to be well. Just say NO to bronchitis and pneumonia!! Sandy-you rock! Teresa-good luck tomorrow. Who did I miss? I'm not sure, but I am wishing everyone a great week.
Oh-another question for you ladies! I have been invited to a charity event in November where the required attire is all white cocktail and/or semi-formal. Any ideas of what the heck to wear so that I don't look like a bride???
-
LOL that was funny....your horse lol. You were a riot, Sandy so Im betting there are a few entertaining photos of you!
Teresa
-
Thanks for the good luck Tracey but my appt isn't until the 23rd but Ill hang on to the wish until then!

Teresa
-
Hi Tracy!
White Cocktail-semi formal...
White Cocktail is the most formal and semi is the least ( at an event)
Sooooooooooo I think they are3 saying you can dress all the way... or in pants and a nice top.
So... if you wanna dress up... you can in a short cocktail dress ( any color...LOL) or in pants... your call.
I LOVED the brides joke...BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH good one !!!!!!!!!!
Have a GREAT Day Ladies...
Teresa.. I will see you the 23rd. I have it on my calendar...:)..
-
Hi ladies, hope you are doing good today. Teresa Good Luck, I hope this Dr. is the one. I am certain you will find somebody that will be able to help you.

Susie I will find you in facebook sometime today. Would love to have you as my friend. I got a couple of requests from people I do not know. If you are in this board, please let me know and I will accept it no problem.
Well ladies I went to the Cancer Center yesterday and got a clean bill of health. My breast surgeon said to keep going to Vegas and having fun, she said that is half of the battle. So I am very happy.
Hope you guys have a great weekend

-
I went for my pre-assessment at the hospital today. It's just so weird that I didn't have to do that with my last 3 surgeries. Oh well, the gal who filled out all of my info was the sweetest thing and it was her bday! She could hardly wait for me to give her a catalog. :-) I will have to go back and give her a bday gift....hmmmm something breast cancerlike....
I AM GETTING SO EXCITED!!! HOW ABOUT YOU LAURA???? 11 days for me!! How many for you???
Susie....your surgery is the 15th!! We will be praying for you girl! Get that all fixed up and clear of all infections!!! I hope you are better and over your sickness by then!!!!
We had to go to our hometown on Tues for a funeral....he was 86 in the vet hospital with alsheimers....this was the house where all the boys would hang out, play poker, and drink. then when we were older we still went and hung out with them. So many nice memories....his funeral was Tues...his wife lost her will to live and passed Tuesday night. :-( We will be heading back Sat morning for the funeral and dh will be one of the pallbearers. I've got to tell you...we are SICK AND TIRED OF GOING TO FUNERALS!!! This will be our 5th one this year!!! ENOUGH!!! Hubby and I were just talking and decided...we just don't like this part of our lives, being this age when our parents are starting to leave us....it's just so dang hard.
On a happier note...my 14 yr old CRACKS ME UP! She is on the danceteam/color guard and they are performing at halftime tomorrow night. They have to wear their team shirts, jackets, and cute jeans tomorrow to school. She has her bag packed and is wearing her clothes to bed so she will be all ready. LOL she is so dang funny. She is our sunshine and has always brightened our lives. :-)
HUGS!!!
I miss all of you and can hardly wait to plan the next trip. I think the planning is almost as fun as the trip its self!!
-
I got my pix on shutterfly... just now have to figure out how to share them
not tonight though
will be going out for my B-Day : - )
Plus in the morning my little guy has a soccer game
ok back to work for me

HUGS!
-
Awe Sandy.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I am so HAPPY you are older than me....BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU I'm alittle late here ....BUT STILL THINKIN OF YOUUUUUUU!!!! Hope it was a fun filled day Sandy!!
Jazzy, I wasn't able to go to our Friends furneal on Tuesday & now will have to miss the one today as well-we've had 6 dear Family & Friends pass in just the last 6 weeks. Our beloved Aunt Margie passed & her furneal is today as well. Then our Friend Crystal ended up in the hospital & was told she had COPD? Something to do with Asthma. I think it's harder when these things happen to those you know-kinda gives you a insight on how your family & friends feel with what has been going on with us-there concerns & fears.
Already saving up my $1 & pennies for the next trip-actually didn't spend all the money that I brought-will put that aside as well!!!
Thanx for all the support-still dealing with a horrible cough, took the last of the antibiotic's yesterday, but I have to tell you-the firece coughing did some more damage. Feels like old times....this is how I got the hernias in the 1st place was due to pneumonia & the coughing
When I see my surgeon will have to show him & see about getting the 2nd surgery sooner. There is now more pain in new aera's & when I go to the bathroom. You know what get's me is that we all beat Cancer-it's some of the extra's that follow after due to the treatment we had to get to beat it. I'll get thru this as well & it help's knowing & having all of you behind me-I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!Take care Chow XOXO Susie
-
Susie sorry to hear about all the funerals!
Sandy HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Laura, did I miss something...you are having surgery to?? I know Jazzy is up for one but I didnt know you were having surgery to!!??
Well ladies I need you all to pray for my friend. She is a 28 yr old mother of 2 small kids. I met her through the Beyond Boobs organization Im involved with. Anyhow she was dx at stage 4, her tumor was large, node invlmnt and she had a tumor on her spine. Well she had a double mastectomy early this year, chemo, herceptin and radiation to her spine. Everything was under control for a while like.....8 mos. Well she just found out yesterday that it is now in her lungs. I belive prayer is powerful and problems are big but God's answer is bigger. Please, for those of you who believe, please help me pray for her healing.
I love you Ta Ta sisters!!
