you guys will have a blast ... 27 of us met in Vegas in Oct 2008 and it was by far one of the most awesome experiences i've ever had. i had only met 2 or 3 of the women before going there! there are so many cheap or free things to do and see it amazed me. i hope you get a great turnout. i can't swing it this year or i'd consider going again! our trip started with a suggestion in the chat rooms and it just took off from there. i envy you all the bonding you're going to have ... it's so special.
-
p.s. sorry if i ruined the "1st" part ... i won't tell anyone!
-
Yvonne.....let me know if you haven't orderd yet.....I can have yours shipped to my friends place where I have mine shipped......my husband travels to MN all the time......and then I will ship it to you.....not cost.......should save a bunch of money.....I ordered 2 shirts and paid lees then that.......pm me if you haven't ordered yet........it'll prpbably be easier if I just order for you and you can get me back in Vegas.........let me know.
To everyone else.........can't wait for vegas!

Ladies... I will be leaving for Texas tomorrow... I get to meet our DianaT from here...wahooooo...
I will be back Monday night... so will try to drop in here and there.... Have a Great Holiday Weekend ya'll.......lol
-
Laura have WAY TOO MUCH FUN!! Give DianaT a BIG HUG from all of us!!! DianaT give Laura a BIG HUG from us as well!!
Got my tata shirts! They JUST fit...if I hand wash and always in cold water no dryer I'll be fine. lol I will be smaller after my tummy tuck....I am also having a BIG revision. I had to go in to see my ps today. I have always had a prob with the skin on the lower half of my breasts ripping open. He stitched me up a couple of weeks ago and it popped open again urgh! So he is fitting me in on Tues for a lat flap. He told me that he knows I haven't been happy with the size of my breasts since day one and he wants to make me happy! He has got to be the sweetest ever you guys..and to give me a free tummy tuck on top of it!! My gyn was able to reschedule for the end of June for hyster/ooph/tummy tuck. He will get rid of the old nips and I will get new ones later down the road. He said he would do it today and bump anybody he had to if he had the implants. He got them ordered and will be ready to go on Tues! Another Ta Ta Tuesday!! Or how about Ta Ta Tuesday~The Sequel!...or Ta Ta Tuesday 2. HaHa
I was so stressed out getting all stitched up and making this decision...I got home and crashed! Slept for 3 hours!
Anyway enough about me...thanks for being so supportive gals! It means so much to me to have met all of you! Our Vegas trip will definintely be something to cherish a lifetime!!
I also skim the exchange thread as well and I am praying for all of you on all of the exchange dates and such...loss of family members and Yvonne's touching story about her kindess. I love you girls!!
HUGS! JazzyJ

Man....look what you miss when you don't check this thread for a day!
Rachel - Too funny!

Linda / Erin - How cool is this that I get to meet two of my sisters in person in the matter of just weeks apart! Neat, neat, neat.
Jazzy - wow, hate that you gave more to go thru but sounds like you have a nice PS. Wishing you well next week!
Tracey / Gesilla / Stephanie / Marylin - Thanks to you all for working behind the curtain to make this dream a reality for us!
-
My shirts arrived with a 20% off code good thru 5/31:
revrun9
And they do run on the small side. Order the next larger size than you normally wear or it will be a very "ta ta" revealing event...
-
Got my shirt and agree with everyone they do run small. I got the Viva Las Tatas and kiss me I am a survivor. I cannot wait to Vegas, it is going to be sooo much fun.
Have a great weekend
Gisella

Jax - You are so sweet! Thanks for that offer. I'll check it out again this weekend and I'll PM you!! THANKS SO MUCH!!!
Hilarious Rachel!!
-
Just got my t-shirt......looks great!!! I have it on in my new picture....I posted 2 pics on the picture forum......
They do run small though....I got a medium (usually wear small) and it fits me good...hope it does not shrink.....the fabric is a thin cotton, not the thick cotton....so I like that...not real t-shirty looking...I like that too.......still can't believe they sent this one little t-shirt by UPS.......My ladies bible study group is going out for lunch on Tuesday so I think I will wear it hehehehe
everyone have a great Memorial Day holiday......and remember to say thanks to our Military and remember the ones who have died for our country, that is what this holiday is all about....
-
Hey- one click donates a mammogram and 9 days left to reach a goal to donate 250...
-
Rachel-I clicked! What a great thing!
I got my shirt today. I ordered a large and it is small, but more incentive to lose about the 25 pounds I gained thru this "journey"! It is very nice though! Lightweight, perfect for hot..hot..Vegas!
My daughter goes to UNLV and is coming home tomorrow for a week. I have kept it a secret from my husband and boys. They will be suprised. She has not been home since Christmas. She is making Nevada her official home. She loves it there.
-
Cute tee shirt Linda! I just ordered mine - a medium - which means it will be tighty-wighty....but I can handle it.
Whoever posted that 20% off code - how nice of you! It almost covered shipping!
-
glad the code worked. it came with my tshirt order.
-
I might just order another shirt with that kind of a discount!
It looks like I will be headed to the hospital sooner than expected maybe today. I have celulitis on my left breast (again) and running a fever. My ps is thinking he may just take the implant out and let it rest until surgery on Tuesday. I will be taking my comp with me and there is internet at the hosptial so I will be able to check in later.
Have an AWESOME weekend girls!!
TaTas for now!
-
Repeating the 20% off code:
revrun9
expires 5/31/09
-
I only got the 10% off.......also note that the 1/2 off sale is only through Tuesday....so hurry and order your t-shirts.....maybe they will extend it for us lol
Jazzygem
I am so sorry that you are having these problems....You are in my thoughts....glad you will have your PC with you so that you can update us.......the best to you
-
Jazzygem, so sorry to hear that.
-
Jazzy, I am around a lot online (I know, I should get out more) so if you want some online company, pm me and i will give you my AIM, email etc...
Many hugs and hopes this will straighten itself and spare you more hassle!
-
Jazzy--Sorry to hear of the latest, but hopefully this will all end soon with the new surgery. Keep us updated.
Rachel, thanks for the link. I was just thinking the other day that I had lost the link that also had the animal rescue...and wouldn't you know it's the same website. Serendipity.

Thanks for all of the warm fuzzys girls! I haven't had a fever today and the redness is a bit lighter and my breast isn't as hot. I have doubled up on my antibiotics and I told my ps that it's working, so no hospital today!. I know to keep an eye on it. Hubby drew around the red areas so we know if it spreads. My ps wants me to call him again tomorrow to check in. How many patients call their doctor's cell phone? He is so sweet.
So we are on for Tuesday. I hate the thought of 4 drainage tubes...yuck, but I will have nice new foobs!!
Linda HOW CUTE ARE YOU!!! In your TaTa Vegas shirt!! WOO HOO!! I think we all should post a pic with our shirts!!
Thank you all again I knew I could count on my Ta Ta Sistahs!!
HUGS! JazzyJ
-
Hey Catherine the breast cancer site can send you an email reminder everyday to click. I click on all of them everyday!
-
Thanks Jazzy, just signed up for the email reminder. Glad to hear that your antibioitics kicked in and that your schedule fro Tuesdy is holding firm. Wow, your ps sounds pretty fricking awesome. It's nice to hear there are doctors like that still around.
Catherine
-
Hey Catherine...p.s. my youngest daughter's name is spelled the same as yours!! Catherine. :-)
-
Jazzy...Good Luck and please keep us updated. I went through that when they did my exchange but antibiotics took care of it. My ps said at that point that cellulitis was better than having an infection in the expander/implant. I did not know there was a difference.
Hugs

Hey there Jazzy, I'm soooo glad I called after I read your e-mail-heaing your voice made me feel better
Stay on top of that Cellulititis, like I told you,had it 3 x's & now look what they had to do to my left side. I'll stay in touch & you just rest girlfriend!! Pinkylee & DV8Q- hey roomies, I chatted with Jazzy & want to get your ok, I can be the one to take care of the room when we get all the detail's if that is ok with both of you?! We can then work out the other details when were there. Just give me a thumb's up. I saved the site so I can click on those site's every day too!!!Ta Ta's compoany sent me a extra 25% off, so I got the Rockin T & the Irish T,plus the hoodie, they knew I'd buy more!!!!! Got them the other day-it's a sweet reminder that Vegas is getting closer

On a last note, I am not being put back on Herceptin due to all the problems & side effect's I had. switching from Tamoxifin to Rimidex-anyone on that? I'm on a trial of 1-3 months, it has certain side effect's,but if you get them you just stop taking the medicine & the side effect's go away-joint sweeling & pain-GREAT!!URG I asked about getting a sleeve(All my nodes gone in left arm) due to flying & my onoglist just laughed, said the reason wasn't the flying to be worried about getting Lymphedema,it's carrying around all the luggage
Learn something new. I can't seem to get over all the wound infection's/Staph,dealing with 2,so....start back on IVIG infusion's Wednesday, but this time getting them done right here in Hood River hospital, takes about 4 hours & trying to work out a schedule with a 5 year old-I can do it while she is in pre-school. Will be on them monthly till I'm healed. Jazzy & I have a on going joke that we'll be in the hospital at the same time, for fun try to be in the same room, now that would stir up thing's.Hope all of you are having a fun filled safe Memorial weeked
Take care Chow XOXO Susie
-
Keep a close eye on that cellulitis Jazzy. I've had it too and it is nothing to fool around with but if you can keep it at bay until Tuesday you've got it made.
Good luck to you too Susie...drains do suck that is for sure! Can't imagine the two of you in the same room!!! Too much fun!!
