Oh WOWZER 2new1s, your are beautiful, your fam too!!!
EWB, did ya get that leak fixed yet? I hope the plumber has come by now.
TexasRose, darnit about your hair but you do have a lovely face. Still, it sucks. (Not your face, your hair falling out.)
Whose b'day is it?
Happy Birthday.
-
Hey Pam!!! It's so good to see you. We HAVE been missing you. Sorry you're not feeling well. Maybe you can get your batteries recharged and get some of that energy back soon! We miss you!! and Deja of course
-
Sharon.........ROTFL.....lol.....that is hilarious!!
-
You ladies are too funny!
-
I was just in Home Depot this morning and in a bathroom display of tiles, counter, cupboard etc, I was dismayed to see the toilet seat up! Argggh. Pet peeve of mine. I HATE looking down the throat of someone else's toilet. Especially as a lot of people don't bend down and clean under the rim! UGH!
-
isn't the toilet bottom (in the picture) backwards?
-
yes, that toilet is backwards!!!!
-
What a great family you have!! Love the pics!! I want to see pics of everyone. I often wonder what you all look like. Coonie, do you look like a racoon?? Dejaboo.....I hope that's you dog! I already know that faith does not look like a sun flower! I found that out on facebook!
I have been very busy this morning shopping and replenshing everything the kids ate/drank this week! I also had to but my soon to be 14 y.o. son new shorts. A few weeks ago when I took him shopping for shorts and summer clothes, he informed me that he doesn't do shorts! Well, 1 day of 90 degree weather made him change his mind!! Tomorrows going to be 90 too! I should make him wear jeans.......

makraz ~ I agree ~ now that I figured it out ~ everyone should post at least one picture of themselves!
-
Got my hubbie out the door to work. Now I need to help my daughter a new university grad to gfind a job. Any of you ladies want to take her off my hands. She is 23, very pretty and has a degree in bussiness marketing. She loves to travel so moving down to U.S. would be welcome to her and her mom. I love my daughter ladies but I also love to have the house to myself. OOPs forgot this was the housework thread.Oh well what else is new.
-
mumayan ~ where did you think you were posting? : )
-
Mak as a matter of fact, I probably DO look like a raccoon. It seems since chemo, I can't get rid of the dark circles under my eyes
Mumayan I'll be in your shoes next year at this time. My DD is graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Hopefully, she won't have a hard time finding a job as a teacher. My DH and I were just talking about the raise we're gonna get when she starts making her own money.
-
Sorry ladies shouldn't have had the glass of wine with my lunch.
-
Coonie- my ds also graduates next yr with a degree in fine arts, specifically Illustration...have no idea what he will be looking for as far a jobs go. This maybe a support group/thread of its own
-
EWB did you have to put TWO through college then? whew......... DD is living on campus this semester because her schedule was so heavy. Her school is about an hour away, and she's just been driving the other semesters. Living on campus is WAAAAY expensive!!!
-
No kidding Coonie we could retire on what we spend on our girls.
-
You're not kidding!!! Can't wait to see how much we'll be able to save towards our nursing home once she's out of school
-
All this talk of how expensive college is makes me happy knowing we have seperate funds set aside for DS & DD's college expenses! YIKES!
-
I interrupt this college tuition discussion to make an abrupt announcement!!
I am about to clean -- well at least significantly "de-pile" my house. I just talked to DH and he is in the car, driving north. NOW.
He'll be home, HERE WITH ME, tomorrow....... if the wheels keep turning round and round, round and round. [oops that was yesterday's theme song.]
Mark the date on your calendar. I'm going to clean.
Could a couple of you swing by & supervise my efforts?? I have no idea what I'm doing. LOL
-
Faithie all you need is a windex bottle and paper towels........... gitter done.........hehe lol
Congratulations on DH coming home!!! wooohoooooot
-
I doubt DH will be looking to see how clean the house is.
And speaking of DH's, Coonie, are you getting any work done?
-
hehe.....lol.........it does seem that I'm able to play on the puter more while at work, doesn't it? I've been waiting on customers all day:) Even rented 3 !!!! And.....had lunch.
-
Happy birthday CaroleMarie!!!!
Great pics 2New1's Here's coonies family tree
(didn't know I had this pic did you coonie:)
-
I wish I had a house to keep clean. Live with 'friends' One's an old widower, the other's a 32 year old still living w/ Dad. Neither knows how to clean a house or even pick up after themselvs. I have my hands full just keeping the kitchen from sprouting hair. Sorry I sound so negitive. When my friend was diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years ago I used to cook meals for her family, and go clean her house 2 times a week. I ran her to chemo and radiation...her DH wouldn't even go to a doc's appt with her! It got too overwhelming. I still keep in touch...oops, off subject. sorry.
-
Welcome aboard Lursa, no house needed to join the group!
-
You rented customers Coone? That's a new one. Faith if I were you, I'd make MYSELF clean.
-
Mom how in the world did you get those photos from my album without me knowing it?? .....lol Yes, that's me, DD, and DH. I think DD looks like DH, don't you? hehe
Lursa welcome aboard. You don't have to have a house.......just join in and get some support from these great ladies. Looks like you were just diagnosed. Hope you're doing ok. Chime in anytime. This is a great group of ladies ready and willing to offer support:) Hang in there!!!
-
hehe...no Barbe....that would be a pretty suspicious job, huh? Renting out customers? We rent out "self storage units"........lol to the customers:)
-
Thank you for WW...nice banner.
-
OK. As per usual. The "house" and it's many piles has me over-whelmed.
So I'm gonna take Barbe's advice and just clean MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
That will please him a whole lot more, anywho.
Welcome Lursa.
