Hugs all..........I made a stew. I assume that is considered to be 'housework'!!!
Coonie, if you can figure out FB paalllllease 'help me'.
Happy for you and your family Faith. Are ya gonna call OUR Saint today?
KAK, and here I was thinking you were sweet too.........don't burst my bubble Sistah!

-
ooohhh Sharon! I haven't tried facebook. Just don't think I can handle that AND BCO....LOL
I'm hoping Faithie will post pics on this site too
I'll be there soon for stew......yummo!
-
Hey, I just realized I did two housework things. The stew is made from moosemeat (a lot like beef to taste) that a friend has been giving us over the past year. I grabbed all the various packages out of the freezer and stewed 'em down. SO, I also cleaned out the freezer a bit too.
Come and eat stew everyone. Veggies are from our garden.
-
Faithie, are you doing a reading there in your fab dress? You look mahvelous in silver, BTW.
-
Battery in laptop went kerplunk after an hour or two. Back to my phone/BB.
Going thru mountains so phone touch & go.
Just left another message for Saint. -
Sharon...I made stew for tonight too! lol Just getting ready to put the buscuits in the oven and thought I'd check in and see how you dustbunnies are doing!

Sharon - I am surprised - two housework things?
I too stalk Faith and Kathi's web sites. Faith is so darn enthusiastic you can't help but smile and Kathi is just wonderful and personally I like tart!
My grandmother used to make ham and vegetables. This obviously was before I became a vegetarian. She would simmer a ham hock in a little water and then add potatos, green beans, cabbage, carrots and onions. Later she would make spetzels (I think its a Pennsylvania Dutch thing). She cooked the spetzels in the same pot because you cook them in salt water. Add some chopped raw onions for the spetzels and you are in heaven! I cannot, however, tell you the difference when you use fresh vegetables out of the garden.
-
Spaetzle is a German thing, and the Pennsylvania Dutch have Germanic roots, so they share a food heritage.
-
Pat - Your are right - my grandmother was german and was born in Lancaster County in Pennsylvania!
-
Kathleen---hope you are feeling better:) You're making me hungry!
Arnie--will be thinking about you tomorrow while you're being deported!!! I'm so happy for you!! It's "gooder" getting it out than putting it in
MaryRose--thinking about you too!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember when you first started your treatment, and now you're done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy happy day for you!! You'll start feeling better real soon.
Today was a GOOD day!! I got a box of chocolates and candies from the United Kingdom!!!
Big hugs to all my dustbunny friends!!
-
Good morning Dust Bunnies!
Mary congratulations on your last chemo! Thinking about you today.
Arnie thinking about you being deported too, hooray!
Kathleen I hope you are feeling much better now and managing to get some sleep.
Faith thanks for sharing the gorgeous wedding photos, here and on FB. You looked amazing. Glad it all went so well.
After a mainly dry and bright September and start of October it is now raining here. I am hoping it eases off enough later for me to go out for a walk, while I have some energy. On Thursday I am due to have my penultimate chemo so I am expecting to be short of energy for a while. Oh well, eventually I will be finished too.
Wishing you all a good Tuesday. xoxoxoxo

Today's a happy day @ Dust-Bunnies R Us.
Sooooooooooo happy for you Mary. We threw a big party in your honor this weekend.
And Arnie!!!!!!!! Progress, more progress, yet additional progress.
I'm seriously exhausted in such a lovely manner. Still smiling ear-to-ear.
Just saw my SIL Scott got some seriously glorious candids of while they were posing the "after" the ceremony shots. I have to go over there & snap up their memory card.
At what point will you tell me enough, already?? Some one PM me just before you're ready to throttle me.... over too many pictures of the wedding.
I intend to sit here with my laptop in my lap for the majority of the day & cyber-veg.
Hugs all around.
Girls of the future, Vivvy, Jayne & Shiny: thanks for knowing that everything works out.

Happy Tuesday for all. Such a beautiful day for the wedding, Faith and family. Your dress was magnificent. Everything looks perfect. Thanks for sharing with us. Hugs for all, Nancy
-
Nancy. So nice of you to supply us with that glorious weather. (tee hee)
You know what a gorgous day it was..... I kept looking for you & Cheryl to walk into the festivities.
You were all with me in spirit.
Thanks to everyone for your kind comments & all of the support before hand.
Six weeks from start-to-finish. Wow. My head is still whirling.
-
Good morning bunnies.
Happy deportation day Arnie.
Gentle hugs one and all.
-
Faith, it looks like the exact kind of day we had for my son's wedding on the Potomac here in Alexandria. Sunny, warm breeze, friends and family, and happy times. Congrats again.
I am on the laundry rampage - for just one person, where does it all come from? Am I too picky about sorting it?
Yesterday I got the final installation of my replacement crown, but it was an overlay, not a full crown. Before my son got married, I had lots of dental work done and this was one of them done. Midway thru tx, it chipped and I was not going to have someone mess around with my mouth until I was done. The good part is she guarantees her work for 5 years, so there was no extra charge, just the usual pain and time involved.
It looks like today will be a good one weather wise. I need a couple of odd things from Walmart - new dish drainer as one of the feet fell off and is lost forever, a new bath mat, a birthday car for my sister, and of course cruise around and pick up this and that... HUGS, Nancy
-
Lol, not a birthday car, but a CARD for my sis....
-
I think your sis may prefer the birthday car, Nancy. LOL
-
Faith stay up on your cloud this week and enjoy. You deserve it.
Arnie today we celebrate your deportation day! YEEEHAAAAThese Kittys are celebrating with you.
-
((((Arnie and MaryRose)))) thinking of you gals today!!! Another milestone!!! Yahoooooo
Jayne -- Will be thinking of you too this week. Now when will you be done with treatment? Before the end of the year?
Faithie -- I could NEVER tire of looking at pictures! Just keep them coming all day. I'm working today, so there are only certain threads this crazy computer will let me open. I'm hoping your post will be on the ones I'm allowed to see......hehe LOL. There are all kinds of "blocks" on this thing.....ancient I'm telling ya!! ancient!!!
(((hugs to all bunnies)))
-
Oh my goodness Kathleen! I sure hope you are ok...no memory is scarey stuff...
Faith- is that you in the middle in what appears to be a silverish dress!? YOU look FABULOUS, now THAT is a mother of the bride dress. Sounds like all went well and it was a lovely day. We need more happy joyful events.
KAK...I LOVE your site. your description is perfect.
Nancy -- birthday cars? I'm pretty sure we are related..long lost cousins or something
Yesterday afternoon and today I have been feeling sleepy and rather relaxed, could not figure it out... Just looked at the bottle of pain meds that were refilled (have to get new script every month since its controlled drugs). For some reason I got oxycodone instead of my usual ms contin. Have call into oncs office to see if it makes any difference and the reason for my sleepiness, but for now I think I will spend the day curled in bed, adjusting to this new drug (which I have to say it is a lovely relaxing sleepy feeling, and no car driving for me today)
Enjoy the stews -- I made bean soup yesterday and planned to make bread today but I just might put that off until tomorrow. Just love the cool weather of the fall. Hugs to everyone
-
