Sharon, she has gotten a number of cards and notes...has been very moved by your kindness, and has been frustrated that she has no way of thanking everyone for thinking of her and taking the time to send well wishes to a person ya'll don't know. Please know how much it has touched her heart!

Happy Birthday ((((((  Shiny )))))),  I almost missed it.   That was a good movie.

They did not come back today to suck up the wet from my carpet, so I HAVE to wear shoes so I do not slip and fall.   Fortunately it is not in an area with any furniture, just where I have to walk to go into the bedroom or bathroom, like a hallway, but not.   They promised to shampoo the carpet later.    Not that this hasn't happened before.  Last year I have a huge hole in the wall, because the air c upstairs leaked into the wall.  then they replastered and repainted.  At least I do not have to pay for it myself, just the inconvenience.   And I am running the a/c and it does not appear to be leaking any more water.

Hugs and Smilies for all.    Nancy

When I want to clean my house, I invite my mom over to "help me clean".  The amount of cleaning I have to do before I'm willing to let her see it is more than enough, hehe.  An alternate plan is to invite my girlfriends over for a game night since I know that they'll also explore my closet, kitchen, and bathroom.

My favorite cleaning tool is that Mr.Clean magic eraser... I think it's made out of ground up unicorn horns.  I barely wave it at stuff and magically it's clean, it seems like.

Good morning all.   I love the magic eraser, even the generic (store) brand,  for my white kitchen counter top.  No cleaning today - bridge group.

Alright I am back and feeling decent but I came to whine.  My MIL is coming and I have to pick up when I don't wanna do it.....(whining a lot here).  I can't even figure out where to start it's been 3 weeks and there is a lot of junk sitting around my house now.

Gosh, there is a lot of stuff hanging around my house, too.  And, I am not supposed to be on my feet much as foot ulcer is trying to heal (not too good).  I am doing the exercises for my shoulder replacement (can we all say OUCH?).  The therapist says if I don't get range of motion back in 16 weeks from surgery (June 1st) then its back to the operating room.  Yikes!

I am going to the doctor today to discuss the dropped right foot.  Hopefully, he will have an electronic muscle stimulator I can use until it comes back.

KAK - where are you - how did it go yesterday?  Prayers and hugs.

    Have a wonderful day everyone!

Great fatigue article KAK. I printed it to save where I can find it! My surgeon was one who said I should return to work after two weeks because it would help me feel better! I tried to tell him that I was exhausted from doing nothing and couldn't manage to get dressed until 10 but he didn't get it! Have you tried Vitamin D? I really feel like I felt better after starting it. Now, I get tired, but feel better after resting, so just try to pace myself and pay attention to the level of activity that I can manage. Hope you get some energy soon!

Kathleen, has your foot ulcer become worse since returning home?  I hope the therapist ouches you just enough to avoid more surgery on that shoulder........OUCH!!!

Jamie, don't pick up too much........perhaps your MIL will see you could use a little help and jump in to the fray.  Clean the bathrooms and tidy up the kitchen.  The rest can wait.

I wouldn't clean- they are your children and I assume KNOW you are hurting and restricted in your activities.....maybe that will be their gift to you- helping to pick up and do basic sweeping, bathrooms, and the like.  They are coming to see you...not the house...RIGHT ?!

Yeah, but I have to clear some space for one of them to sleep....at least kick some stuff out of the way.  DD and I were watching a show on hoarding the other night.  I told her that if something happened to me, her father would be the type of person that had stuff piled all around the house, with just trails to walk through.  I, on the other hand, would be the crazy cat lady with 102 cats wandering around the house!

Hi, Sweeties.  The mamm went well, but the experience wore me out -- reliving my surgery a year ago because I was back in the same darn place.  Left me weepy all day.  Taking a mental health day from work today.  Probably won't get the report till tomorrow.

Linda, thinking of you and your DH today.

Arnie, THANK YOU!   We writers do love appreciation!!

Hugs to you all.  So wonderful to know you are all here.
