Barbe- you always make me giggle and smile! Thank you.
-
Lursa- Two words- Claritan and Aleve. I only had minor bone pain with the Neulasta, but it clears it right up and those with bad pain from it swear by it. Even my clinical trial nurse told me about it. So take a Claritan and an Aleve. Should fix you right up! I hope it helps sweetie!! (((hugs)))

Barbe, you obviously don't have shedding pets. My rug turns a different color after vacuuming when the dog hair is gone. We don't have to look for wheel tracks.
Luckily DH ran the vacuum this morning, so I'm good for a few days.
-
Actually PatMom, I have THREE cats!
Way over-due for vacuuming!
-
Estepp - How much does the Vegas trip run? Are we talking hundreds or thousands?
-
Lursa - I did the Claritin, too and it worked for me. I was skeptical, but one time I forgot to take it and I knew it!
I did the dishes and folded 3 loads of laundry today. I'm done! Ready for a nap. I'll be seeing the gal I asked to clean the house tonight, so I'm hoping sometime this week it'll be nice and clean. If I can only keep it that way will be the question.
-
Just discovered that my hair is now long enough to pull it back in a very short pony tail. WhooooHoooo!!!!!! No more frizz just bundle it up and I'm good. Was beginning to look like I had a fuzzy basketball sitting on my shoulders.
-
From blackberry-ville; it started to rain in paradise, my painting demo postponed-- so we threw it all in the pick up and are headed south.Back to Ohio for a few days.
-
Science experiment continued:
Elaine so glad about your mom!!! Glad about your party/celebrations.
Before I forget it: Nancy I got your ribbons....I'll start making the scarves shortly.
It's great that the thread continues to SWELL with support.
Hugs all

I'm here...my little stray cat I picked up like 7 yrs or more ago died this morning, so very sad. She was afraid of everything and everyone, must have been mistreated while she was loose..she had a rough life..I worked a long time for her to be able to trust us to pet her and all...still couldn't hold her though, she'd claw you to death...

Ehh, hello, my name is SHINY, don't know if you remember me, I used to be on here all the time, then well, HECTIC stuff and a LEMONETTE body got in the way, anyhow, trust me I kind of know you gals and you used to "see me" on here quite alot..
Anyhooo, fraid the deadlines etc are not over and am running out of steam, have just looked at how many pages I'd have to read to catch up and it was nearly 20!!! So I am just going to have to sart again like a newby in a week or so!
Gosh, I hope that all the news posted is good really good or fantabulous and that all who were struggling with treatment of late are on the mend or have found nifty ways of coping with the inevitable S.Is.
Lots of loving feel good vibes and bestest wishes coming your way.
ps:I made a call and joined the local gym for 3 months, that was my 1 "taking care of me" action for the week. I plan to get rid of this current deadline by Monday night, do NOTHING on Tuesday, please God make that particular fantasy come through for me!, then get back to the real world and all the chores I've neglected by Wednesday.
BE PEACHY LOVEYS,
xx Shiny

I lost a cat last year, 21 years old! We have 3 others and one of them I had rescued from the shelter. I picked it because it was so tall it's head hit the top of the cage when it was sitting up! We called him Bogie (one over par - 4th cat) but because it, too, was a scaredy cat, we usually call him Bogieman.
Big hugs, Deb, that's a tough one.
-
Yeah I feel sorry for Taz, our male cat...had two dogs and two cats...now he's all alone...we think she had cancer, she had a large lump on her tummy....
-
Hi Shiny, great to hear from you. Good for you joining the gym! Wishing you well with your deadline and doing nothing on Tuesday. You will certainly have earned it.
((((Deb)))) Sorry to hear about Sweetie Ann. At least you gave her a good life while she was with you. We have 2 rescue cats, they are brothers called Ronnie & Reggie.
I have to confess that I vacuumed this evening. It was the first time for several weeks and yes the carpet is now a different colour. I'm exhausted now and will be heading off to bed soon. Goodnight dust bunnies.
-
New-SHINY & JANE!!! Whoop-whoop!
Hang on shiny--may your strength be renewed. You're gonna make, - just know you are. Just KNOW it.
((((((((Deb)))))))) -
I'm up and made dinner. As soon as DH is done, I'll load the dishwasher. Is that enough for the day?
-

I lost my Simon cat last fall and still miss his silly personality... and our other cat Ralph still misses him too I think...
Shiny... soooooo good to see you post! Take care of yourself, I have first Taxotere on Tuesday so I'll join you in not doing any housework
Think of you often....
Faith... sorry to hear about the rain...but you sound like you had a wonderful vacation...loved all the pics! Have a safe trip home... are you gonna see Saint on the way back? If so, send her our love...
Barbe... your cat beat ours by a year...ours was 20... It's still too short a time!
Nitey nite Jane....sweet dreams

Deb- I am so sorry. I have been so blessed to be loved by so many cats, but that also means that I have lost too many. The hardest was our precious Bo who died in 2004 at the age of 19. I currently have five inside and three outside. I am so sorry to hear about your Sweetie Ann. Nothing hurts like losing a beloved pet. I am just so sorry. Many, many ((((hugs)))) to you.

Awww Deb sending a big old hug your way. Those pets have such a way of wrapping there way around our hearts.
Shiny, love seeing your posts, can't believe how hard they make the education thing over there. Seems like you have had a mountain to face for months now with it.
Arnie sending you a hug for Tuesday's treatment.
Well ladies I went to get my hair done today and told her I wanted to go lighter, well she took me at my word and light it is. Actually its a color I had always wanted but was not bold enough to try. She cut it a new way too. Wish I had taken a before and after pic. It was quite a dramatic change and I'm loving it. To think I almost didn't go in because the place looked so empty and I had never been there before. Glad I took the plunge and went with it. I just don't do those kind of things very often but with the reunion on my plate I thought it was time. Think hubby is rather pleased that he woke up with a brunette and now is heading to bed with a blonde.
-
whoooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooo mom!!!!
wowowowow
we need at least the 'after' picture!!
-
Thanks guys, feel like we lost a part of our family and of course she just had to have cancer....
Mom, I wish I had enough hair to get cut and or dyed...I can't wait...........
Love ya all and prayers to those who need em!
-
Probably would if I could find my camera and could figure out how to get the pic up on here. By the time I get it all figured out the roots will probably be coming back in.
-
Just a quickie to all because I still have soooooo many pages to catch up on! What a great group this is, though.
Hugs to Shiny. And Elaine. And Deb about your kitty. Lost an old sweetie myself a few months ago. Hugs to Jayne & Mary & Julz & Arnie. And Faith, whom I see on FB all the time. And Mom. And Linda. And Barbe. And Coonie. Hugs to you all!
Mom, you go girl!! And let us know if it's true blondes have more fun. Or, Deb, you can tell us when you have a tad bit more hair back!! LOL
Off to bed then work tomorrow. Ooooooo, guess what??? I have officially lost ten pounds over the last few months!! Mainly from just eating better food & not 'comfort' food all the time, but I needed a lot of comfort to get through the winter!! Also am walking more. Starting to feel like I could actually go back to the gym & really get sweaty on purpose again (instead of via hot flash). I sure didn't lose it by doing housework!!!!
-
Vegas would run about 900$.. I just guessing..
-
LURSA! Great to hear from you! I had the same treatment as you, TC. I had the neulasta shot as well. I can definately relate to the pain. I ached all over, especially my knees for some reason. The worst was the first treatment. After that I asked for stronger pain meds and that helped. What made the biggest difference was taking claritin starting the day before treatment through about 3 days after. Research has not been done about why is helps the bone pain; but many, myself included, swear by it. As far as my opinion on whether to call or not, if you are so uncomfortable and its hard to sleep, I think it is serious enough to call and get stronger meds to help.
-
Kathi way to go! You lost your winter coat!
I can't lose weight for the life of me...literally! I went to the hospital nutritionist for 6 months once. One week up 9 pounds, next week down 6, next week, down 2, next week up 5..you get it. She was stymied. So now I haven't had alcohol for 7 months, not a pound lost! So it obviously wasn't a factor in my weight! I can't increase my activity as even just vacuuming sets me back a day in bed! What is a girl to do??????
-
Good morning Bunnies.....hope you all have a Blessed Sunday...
-
Hahaha Coonie, that's a good one. Thanks for the morning chuckle.
