Good morning everyone
Elaine so pleased about your Mom's B9 results.
Barbe have a wonderful time at the wedding. I look forward to seeing your photos.
Kmc I wondered why I had been told not to vacuum. I never realised it was so dangerous; I might have to join you and give up housework.
Arnie you have the right idea with a 2 hour nap, I could manage that!
Linda hope you make it to Cape Cod this weekend.
Nancy congrats on the B9 report.
Lursa well done with giving up smoking, keep it up.
Mom those muffins look tempting, maybe it's time for tea break.
Everyone have a great weekend.

For all those that questioned if I really did break my foot tripping over the vacuum cleaner - absolutely true. Here is the worst of it - I have such severe diabetic neuropathy I never felt it - good thing because I bet it would have really hurt. My foot was swollen but I thought it was becuse I had worn heels a few days before that. I went to the Podiatrist who took x-rays. My foot (not my toes) was broken in 2 places! I had to wear one of those funny shoes for 8 weeks. It was then that I decided housework was too dangerous and must be stopped. Boo hoo.
-
Unbelievable km... what diabetes do you have? My ds is a type 1 diabetic...he is 22 now but his pancreas stopped working when he was 8. Praying for Oliver and your foot...
-
Hey all. Barbe have a great weddiing, wow km..I always knew housework would hurt me.
Hey ther mom and all others. How are we all feeling. Lursa great about the not smoking. Pulling for you here!!!
Doing good here. Kids are up really early. Weather looks to be great today.
-
ARNIE: I have Type 2 brought on by my bad eating habits and the gene pool. On my Mother's side both of her grandmothers died of complications of diabetes. Her father had Type 2 Diabetes too. Other wonderful features of my gene pool include breast cancer, colon cancer, heart attacks, extreme myopia, bad feet and depression. On the more positive side I got smarts, a sense of humor, great skin and good legs.
-
Sense of humor is a great attribute

I once "lost" my vacuum cleaner - a small fire engine red canister type. After a huge cleaning day, I had put it in the spare bedroom, behind the bed so it could not bee seen. Since there were no guests or reason for going into that room, let alone the other side of the bed, it took me quite a long time to "find" it again.
Two loads of laundry are done, since I was restricted after the stereo biopsy but now my back aches. Hugs, good wishes, congrats, and Blessings for all.

Hi to all on here. I'm in the middle of cooking getting ready for our bbq/tailgate today before church and now its starting to pour so not sure if we will get this in today. Maybe we will have to do the indoor picnic thing.
Good to see all of you but still would love it if we could all live nearby and grab some of that friendship in the real world. Sometimes when I'm running errands around time I think of you all and wish you were near enough for some good chat and fellowship.
-
Oh Mom, wouldn't that be just grand?!!!!
-
Hi all, am in Debyshire (in the countryside) at my inlaws for 2 days. Family bbq tomorrow.
Still feeeling a bit "delicate" or "lemonette" but will go to bed right after this! be impressed girls!, I never seem to manage that at home, so 9:30 is pretty good stuff. Got my god daughter to look after as well tonight (1st sleep over with her pousins at grandma's), so am expecting she'll be up a few times. Makraz I am not, coudn't manage that many kids at once! don't get me wrong, I just love kids and really enjoy them, but I like a smaller group, at home- You are some gutsy girl Mak!
Lursa, am not a limy! I have lived here nearly 1/2 my life (17 years+) but am actually from Canada, (bilingual- french and english), so I am a "lemonette" ! hehe
When's Coonie back??
Anie thanks for your sweet nighty nights! Sorry your son has those medical concerns, hope you are getting good support with that. hugg.xx
Faith, my little guy is 8 since xmas, but he is a bit of a winny the pooh anf tigger combined. A real joyfull boy, not 1 cranky bone in his body (never been cross at anyone, ever). He's got a severe comunication(receptive and expressive)disorder and sensory integration disorder etc. a type of ASD. Maybe i'll get around to figuring out how to post pics sometime and I will try to pm you with it. One time when I need a break form the Tribunal stuff!
Texas rose, EBW, lovin mama, Arnie and all you "putting up", or about to put up with more treatment, huggssssssssss. Sending you top quality vibes and fresh derbyshire air!
( you know I am cr__ at remembering all the names, so don't be cross! my thaughts and best wishes are always with you all!)
Like mom2two and Sharon, I do think of you all as I get on with my day and imagine us getting together for a natter.. oh well, we are still blessed to be here together aren't we? I feel blessed.
Wishing you all, sun and fun and all things lovely this week end, especially you Barbe, enjoy.

I just had the last of the kids picked up! YEAH!! ME time!! It was nice today because they all kept each other busy and out of my hair. As long as I could make lemonade and watch them in the pool, all was well.
Mom, I would love to meet you someday while you are out runnng errands. Wouldn't that be cool!
Been thinking of you all. Hope you have a great weekend.
Enjoy, Ladies!!
Barbe, we miss you already!!
-
It would be very cool Linda and Sharon. But since we can't do that I was wondering tonight if we all could connect just a little more somehow. Thinking how we might could start a round robin letter or package and send it around to each of us. Each person could add something and make it a fun game and get to know each other a little better. Just can't figure out all the details so if anyone has any ideas or would be interested in connecting as friends more socially speak up.
-
Mom, I have no idea what a round robin letter is, but if it's something we send around to each other, sounds good to me! Someday I would like to go to make a wish foundation or a Today show contest and win a weekend with all my BCO friends!! All expenses paid, babysitters.... sounds great, doesn't it?? Mom, how old aare your kids? DD is 9, right? My boys are 10 and 14 in a couple weeks.
-
The round robin letter, pkg gets started off to the first person who then adds a thought, note, poem, memento etc. and then sends it along to the next person who then has to add to it and send it along to the next person. Just thought it would be a fun way to connect more.
My oldest dd is 18 and the youngest is 9.
-
WOW 9 years difference!
Round robin sounds like fun. I would like to do it.
Off to beedie bye. Getting up early and going to Cape Cod.
have a great night.
Linda
-
That round robin letter sounds great! Hope all of you have a great weekend. I am doing no housework becasue one of my drains fell out today and it wa the one that was still draining about 60 ccs a day.
