arnie good to see you back on, missed you.
have to go, hubby calling!
-
Hey Arnie, how are you doing?
Happy Memorial Day to all.
Gentle hugs.
-
Much better...thanks Sharon.. (((((((((((Hugs)))))))))
-
Good morning everybody!
Nancy- Yea, yea, yea on the B9!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy to hear that!!
Barbe- Darn it, I guess I passed because the chemo starts Tuesday. I'm ready. I have some Rx to fill today and then it's go time. I bet you are so excited right now! Color me insanely jealous! Lying on a beach and soaking up the rays sounds VERY appealing right now! And of course you get the added bonus of seeing your daughter happy!
Arnie- Good to see you!
Lursa- I hope you are feeling stronger everyday and still winning the war against the cigs. You can do it!!!
Everybody else- Big hugs! I hope you enjoy your weekend!! Do something FUN!
-
Okay, now I'm REALLY mad! I have been growing my nails long so I will look like a f$&(#ing lady for the wedding. I just broke the middle finger one on my left hand. How appropriate! It's very hard for me to grown nails. I did it while vacuuming! See, housework is NOT good for you!!!
I can't do fake nails....so do I just leave the others long and hope no one notices? Maybe I'll put a lighter colour on at least.
I even had my DH buy rubber gloves for me yesterday to protect my nails while I do wet things cleaning today. Didn't think I'd need them vacuuming....sigh. Oh well, I figured I'd break one with the luggage and all....
-
Hopefully these pics will post and they are not the dreaded redX. These are my new floors! Now, I have lots of cleaning and dusting to do!
-
barbe.... hate when that happens... can you pick up some fake nails and maybe dd or someone can put one on that middle finger???
Makraz...no red x!!! They're absolutely beautiful!! I'm envious...that's what I wanted when we redid the house...but got outvoted...
-
Hey to all of you. Hope the houses magically clean themselves today so no gets hurt like Barbie!!! Hoep you all have wonderful days. I am supervising the replanting of some strawberry plants.
-
Hey lovin, good to hear from you! How are you feeling now?
Linda, GORGEOUS floors! Hats off to you. (arnie yours would have been nice too...
) It's a great choice.
-
barbe, are you off to the wedding this weekend? Have a WONDERFUL time, pictures are "required" when you get back. Hug, peace and Blessings for all.
-
oops, that should be HUGS - LOTS of them for everyone.
-
Arnie, that pic is so funny!
I wanted hardwood floors put in when I moved into my house......17 years ago. It took awhile, but they are there now. The boys are having fun slipping and sliding all over the place.
Lots of hugs to everyone too! Enjoy the long weekend. Anyone have big plans??
DH and I are going out on the Harley in a few. He took the day off so we could spend some time together before we are stuck with the kids all weekend! By kids, I mean mine and everyone elses! It'll be fun, they will have a blast.
-
Great news- just heard from Mom and the biopsy came back B9! she will need to have it removed but then thats it. Thank you all so much for all your kind words, prayers and hugs!!!

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but here is the contact info for the company in Texas that contracts with local cleaning services sound the country to do free cleanings for chemo patients. They cleaned my home last week and it was amazing!

Wow! The power of prayer Elaine! So happy for you two. Have a peaceful long weekend now...
ddlatt, if someone did our housework for us, what would we bitch about? Maybe the way they did it?
How are you doing anyway, I haven't seen you for months! We joined at the same time and both had bilats. I've been horsing around on this site while you've been doing chemo. Are you finished?
-
Barbe - I tripped over the vacuum cleaner and broke my foot in two places - so you see, housework can kill you!
-
km.......... omg! Did you have to have a cast..........geesh that's all you needed! And Barbe was complaining about a fingernail...
ddlatt... "hi" I don't think I've met you.... that is soooooooo neat! I wish I would've known that before I cleaned all day today!!! lol
Oh... and for any "newbies" there's a great "scarf" and "head wrap" site franceluxe.com that will send you a free head wrap. You contact Lori... she will send you a head wrap or scarf of your choice free. (They retail for like $72.00)
-
Arnie, baby! How you doing today?
I remember one year when my mom decided as a New Years resolution to start exercising. On January first, she put the exercise DVD in the den TV and started the warm-up. The first thing to do was swing your leg back. She did, hit the door, broke her toe, said *#%^ it, had to use a cane, and didn't exercise again until the day she died!
-
kmc- that convinces me. no more vacuuming. dust bunnies rule
-
lol... doing good Barbe... You inspired me this a.m. when I heard you were cleaning I started and cleaned the whole house!!! lol Dh was sure surprised when he got home. I did manage a two hour nap in between... Pretty soooooon you'll be flying away...
Punta Cana!!! Can't wait to hear all the stories when you get back!!!
flash... lol.. yeah sounds pretty dangerous... I might look at that vacuum differently next time I take it out...
-
Barbe you might could go to one of those professional nail salons right quick and get one put on. They would feel more natural than the ones at the store. Doubt it would cost much either.
Maybe you and kmc should try my housecleaning suit. Guaranteed to keep you safe from those vacuums.
-
Thanks ddlatt and welcome aboard!

Hellooooo! Been thinkin of you all and sending vibes and bestest wishes and prayers you way. Just not had must "extra me" to get to the site and post! Sooooooooory.thanks for your concern.x
Body's been in full "lemonette mode" but I have managed to acheive a fair bit relating to my son's SEN. (preping assesements for our appeal for his special educational needs Tribunal). Also starting to get all his visual info prepared for when he finds out after 1/2 term that he's going to be moving to Junior school in Sept. Oh am sure praying for all that to go well, he's such a sweet boy.
I managed to walk as much as I could each day for my little girl to get ALL her "walk to school week" stickers and certificate! That was a big deal for her, so glad I managed it.(Except this a.m,was quite poorly so daddy took over..bit of a muddle with their uniform and lunches etc..oh daddies, hehe. bless him for doing it though!)
I got on an "Acute fatigue acupuncture trial" for SI effects of chemo (for bc patient up to 5 yrs on!) I will let you know how that goes.
BTW : am still chirpy, happy, GRATEFUL, just a lemonette with it. I know I am a very lucky girl each and every day. and glad to have "met" you all too!
oh, and mom, you flatter me with your theory, but my mind is far too fuzzy and not nearly as funny as Coonie and I never post fantastic little animations and banners like Arnie, so we are not one and the same. Still, would be fun to meet up sometime!
Top bestest vibes and prayers coming to ALL of you, I think I am just about "au courrent" with all your posts , should have taken notes..Love all your pics too! esp "coonies" from you arnie!
Off tomorrow to inlaws, kids off school for 1 week, whew, best have all my vitamins!
nighty night all my dear dear buddies. Wishing you pain free, happy days ahead and good results! and ,visits, tours, gardens, homes, and just to feel good where ever you are this weekend.

Night shiny, sleep good tonight and pain free. I'm very thankful that instead of you guys being just one that we have three of you to cheer us all on. Its not the same without your posts.
Hate that when those pics turn up missing. I think the sites do them like that cause they were never taught to share with others when they were little. Now they are grown ups saying "no, its my picture you can't use it."
