Just want to say that you all are just an awesome, loving, caring, group of women! I wandered here a few days ago, after meeting Sheila on another thread, and you all welcomed me SO warmly! I just realized though that I can barely keep up with everyone on the thread that I have been on for over 4 yrs, and don't have enough time to really get to know all of you as much as I would like to. Maybe some day I will find more time, and will visit with you all again. But in the meantime, I will be on the drinking thread, and if anyone wants to join or visit that thread, you are more than welcome to join us! Just didn't want to pop in and then leave without an explanation!
Keep on supporting and loving each other as you are doing, and I hope to meet up with you all again! Thanks again for the very warm welcome!!!

It does take time to keep up with all the activities going on here. I spend more time reading than writign.
-
Ducky - Hoping your grandson makes the team and they don't schedule too many practices so you can go to the shore and celebrate!
Sandy...you didn't overdo with all that birthday celebrating, did you? Hope you're okay.

Good Morning All. Lets start a search for Sandy. SANDY WHERE ARE YOU?
-
Good Morning girls, Just popping in....you have me worried about Sandy too. Last post she did was on August 9. Does anyone have any contact info for her? Would like to know she is ok! (On the other thread I am on, we try to get info on anyone that doesn't mind sharing it in a PM, just so we can contact them if they go MIA for awhile. If no one has info here, you might want to do that). Hugs to you all!

Sheila, THOSE are the Mokulua Islands that were in front of the house my parents just sold in HI...their home was a block back. Michelle Pfeiffer, etc had homes right on the beach...Paul Mitchell has a huge estate looking out at those islands. (My parents home was small, though). Did you know a *waterspout* and lightning, came through there this spring, right betwn the islands? Ended up as a small tornado when it hit land...very strange. Some people posted that on youtube, its awesome. I love those islands and have many pics of them that I took. Planned to kayak to them last month as I had never done that, but then it was too choppy. I KNOW, I wasn't going to keep popping in here...but wanted to see if anyone heard from Sandy yet.
HOPING all is well with all of you, and especially hope to find out Sandy is ok.
-
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8 minutes ago Sandy wrote 'here' on FB!!! You got some 'splainin to do! lol!
-
I can't find it.
-
I posted on a thread on her FB where some of her friends had commented. I asked if any of them have heard from her. She responded 'here'. She has posted a few more comments to others. I know she will be here to visit us soon.
WE MISSED YOU SANDY!!
-
And she logged into BCO today!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I'm stalking her! ♥

Thanks ladies for caring........well as you know there was progression on the scans so they changed chemo.....got it last wednesday.....saturday got really sick, dehydrated, severe pain from the stool being backed up because no fluids (remember I live with them 18 year old boys) and in bed until tuesday....wednesday went to chemo again, dr came in said above...got chemo yesterday, going back into tomorrow for fluids hoping prevent recurrence.....this so sucks!!!!
Meece congrats on the new baby
Chris those bruises look awful
thanks for the man, the cake AND all of the DQ treats can't wait to get one......my birthday was excellent and isn't over, instead of the kids and I going out for dinner, I told the older ones, that I wanted to go to dinner with them individually just the two of us and talk....who can talk with 13 people sitting at table especially with a couple of babies....we haven't done it yet cause I have been sick.....
Sandy
-
I'm sorry your feeling so sick Sandy. That sounds like an awesome idea, to go out with your kids individually. I have a HUGE family and trying to talk is soooo difficult. I hope you are feeling better soon so you can go out to eat with them!
-
Oh Sandy is here.......sorry you are feeling lousy I really do......
I was stalking you too...
Good to see you my friend.....♥
We love you♥
-
Take care Sandy, missed you.
-
Were you stalking her to Chabba?? lol!
-
Turned the AC on.....
Good Night
-
I was hoping you were just still birthday partying. I was afraid you weren't feeling well. Hope the fluids do the trick and you feel better soon!
-
So happy to get some news, Sandy! Love the idea of individual visits. Actually started that in our family when they were little - I woud take one of them for dinner just to talk. That evolved into family dinner night out on Fridays - rotating decision on where with rule that food could not be in a wrapper or plastic basket.
Photographer came tonight for outdoor pics - neighbor asked what was up. They then said they think they want to make an offer. I'll believe it when I see it but that would be awesome.
-
Thats great news Diane.
Good Morning all!
