So happy for you Linda and just a little jealous! Are you talking the Cape? No, don't tell me.
Sheila - glad you are ok - I understand what you mean completely.
Deb - hoping all went well with FSIL and your tata is good too.
Happy weekend all - came up to the cabin to sit in front of fire, listen to rain, and read. Oh and cook. Making asparagus soup right now. Gonna do the goat cheese again tomorrow and try to improve.
-
Yes, the cape.
I will be at this 4 wheel drive beach. Don't worry, Diane, I will be at Chappy soon enough!
I want some of your soup!!
-
More news on Rebekah & Nick. They are flying in Sunday, he will be admitted in the Lahey Clinic Sunday night, his procedure will be Monday morning and will be out that afternoon. They are staying at the Boston Marriot in Burlington until Thursday to make sure everything is OK.

Good news, Deb.

The honeymoon is over. One son has a friend sleeping over and the other is out with my car again. I don't think I'll ever see it again.
Great news, Deb!

I hope DH ran well in the Police Chase today and that you thoroughly enjoyed the nice weather. (It was nice up there, right? It was nice here.)
How are you feeling, Sandy? I hope you are feeling better than you had been.
((((((TOL))))))

Rebekah and Nick have arrived in the U.S. Nick has been admitted into the Lahey Clinic and he will have his procedure tomorrow morning. I was told that Lahey has done this procedure for over 20 years. They are staying until Thursday, I imagine the doctors will want to follow up with him before they go back to Bermuda.
(((Everyone)))
I have not seen them yet, probably not until Tuesday.
-
I'll be thinking of Nick tomorrow, praying for the best!
What did you sin, Sheila????????????????? GF, BBB, OCF, ?????
Weather was beautiful here, race was loads of fun. It was held at the Mass State Police Barracks. One of the bagpipe players had WAY to much Long Island Ice Tea and passed out in the middle of the field, after vomitting everywhere. Nice family event
-
Deb...how far are they from you? glad they arrived.
Chris...you are a Saint
well.my sin was we went to an Italian family restaurant when the food comes in big bowls......I don't usually go but today was 10 year anniversary that my friend lost her husband......so I had to go....
Actually no big sin was committed....we had mussels, crabs, shrimp and some other sea food over Linguini and broccoli rab...I had a normal portion..and only have 1 glass of wine and plenty of water....for dessert I took a slice of bread put butter on it and I was very happy.....
One of my friend doesn't understand why I need to loose weight....she goes on and on how long are you gonna do this? and other questions.....i don't want to be questioned all the time....I don't tell others what to do with their diet............
I said as long as it takes.....
It was a nice evening........the weather turned out to be very pleasant so no AC tonight.....
-
9:14 pm
Movie time that I DVRed before...

They are only about 30 mins away.

Sounds like a perfect night, Sheila. You do what you want for you!
Glad they are close by, Deb. -
Ditto, Sheila - What Linda said. Glad you enjoyed your dinner out.
Ew, Linda. That's so nasty... Glad you had a good time despite the bagpiper's display.
Hope you get to see them soon, Deb!
-
Good morning from NY.....weatherwise it's beautiful
-
Clouding up here fast, bring back the sun!
-
I'm still deciding my day.
