Thinking Out Loud.....

Hey ladies..............I saw Tom Jones, in person, when I was 30, at the Latin Casino in NJ..........it was during the time when he had a TV show.......................Sat right up front, and was probably the loudest person in the place...................no way was I being a lady that night...................WOW, could he sing, and move..............saw him again about 1 year ago...............my daughter treated me.....................he was completely gray.............still sounded the same, and I still screamed the loudest.......................definitely did not act like 77........I think I embarrassed my daughter................at the end when he was almost done he was singing ........It's Not Unusual................and my daughter wanted to get a headstart out the door because of the crowd............I said "fine", but I danced my ass off from my seat to the exit door...................such fun...............

LOL ducky I bet you were....better you then me would have said no....
Deb how is Nick.....
Linda......how r u?
Shiela, always vote to go to Macy's...have to work 3 days this week, out of my mind, especially after both chemo's might not have a job when I am done....
Happy Monday!!
-
Sandy -- hope your week isn't too bad. Have you heard about graduation yet?
Linda - this weekend I started bugging my DH about a trip east this summer so I can go to the Cape. He kept reminding me that we just got a cabin. Finally, he asked "what brought this on". I showed him your Cape picture
Sheila - what are you shopping for?
Deb - hope you have had good news by now.
Chris - life's got to be easier now that proms are over? Could you run a little for me this week?
Meece - you have all the wedding planning under control?
Ducky - we've gone to some oldies concerts recently and a few I wish I hadn't, I would have preferred to remember them as young than as the old goats trying to move and sing as they had before.
Just had a call from my GP about my bone scan - huge deterioration after just one year of Arimidex. Still termed ostopenia but just a few digits from osteoperosis. Awesome.
-
My FSIL's procedure was a success, they removed 7 stones from the duct near the small intestines via going down the throat into the stomach and there is a duct that connects to the small intestine so they went in there and got those suckers out. Nick is doing great and my DD is relieved.
-
This is how it was done.
-
LOL, ducky, so glad you danced your but off!!
Here's on of Chappy! I'll meet you there, Diane.
What did you get Sheila?
Do you have 2 chemos this week Sandy? And work 3 days? I hope it is easy on you. Congrats on your former position that you are stepping down from.
YAY Deb!! Great news!
Chris must be out jogging.
-
I'm not ignoring anyone
I update my happy shopping day after i eat.
Just got home
I love Macy's
-
We're waiting....................
-
Well I did go running after I gave up trying to get the internet on my computer to work. More new technology... Hope this is more reliable...
I've run 4 times in the last 5 days. I'll run tomorrow for you, Diane - I hope it doesn't rain. I'd better watch it or my plantar fasciia will start complaining. Got my time down to 30 min - not a good time but better than 32! Yikes. That's practically walking! I walked an extra loop. Too tired to run more.
I liked my weight over the weekend - but it's back up. Must have been dehydrated. Grrrr.
Deb - so glad the surgery was a success - I hope you can visit now!
Hope the chemos are easy on you, Sandy!
Glad you had a happy shopping day, Sheila!
Ducky, sounds like you sure know how to have a good time. Aren't we supposed to embarrass our kids?
-

Good Morning all!
-
They look comfy - pretty and festive too. I've always loved coral. Glad you got new shorts too. It feels so good to have some new clothes.
Will try to get myself outside to "run" before it rains. My butt was so sore yesterday, but it's good to know my running has been having some effect - lol.
((((((TOL))))))
-
I'm heading out to a spin class so my butt will be sore too. We can compare notes later, lol.

Deb thinking of Nick

Thanks and yes Zometa and Gemzar...working tomorrow, graduation ( yes they are graduating) and then chemo on Thursday (after granddaughters 8th grade graduation) then working Friday and Saturday, not all day, hopefully just enough, if it is bad I will leave...
So happy you found something at Macy's
Deb Glad Nick is ok....
Raining here all day!!!
Thanks for caring guys!!!
-
Going to pick up FSIL & DD at the Boston Marriot in Burlington then going to Legal Seafood for suppa. Can't wait.
-
(((TOL))))
-
Enjoy, Deb!
Congrats on all the accomplishments you are celebrating, Sandy! You must be so proud! Hope chemo and work are easy on you.
Rain should be gone in a day or so - hang in there!
How's your butt, Linda? lol
I did an extra 3/4 mile today for you, Diane. It was weird. When the sun was out, I was dying. Then after I got all sweaty, when the sun would go in and the breeze was blowing, there were times when I was actually chilled. I really have no tolerance for temperature.
((((((TOL)))))))
-
Sandy.....congratulations and good health♥
Deb.....I can imagine how happy you must be...
Chris...you lucky girl...no sun here and it's pouring
Linda...are you OK?
(((TOL)))
-
I'm fine, and you?
You sound like me, hot and then cool, then HOT!!
Congrats Deb.
-
Oh it's raining now - got my run in before it started.
-
Worried......my daughter went for a mammogram Friday.......she came home from work, and had a voicemail from the hospital, that they want her to call them............2 years ago she had a call back, and they aspirated a lump............I am worried............me yes, not my girls..................she is 52.........
-
Had a nice dinner with Nick & Rebekah at Legal Seafoods.
Sad to say my Dad is not doing well at all. I will see him tomorrow night
-
Ducky, I pray all goes well for your daughter.
