Tell me your secret, Sheila! I have eataholism. Ate m&ms today. Bad.
When I'm in the produce dept of the grocery store, I think of you and all your healthy fruits and veggies. Of course, it doesn't make me buy any... although I did pick up a few salad fixin's. Trying to have more salad. I buy fruit, no one eats it, it goes bad, and then I throw it away. THEN my kids go looking for fruit. I say - I just threw away $20 of fruit - why didn't you eat it? I didn't know we had any... And you couldn't look? Ugh. Guess I need to print up some invitations for them to eat the fruit I buy.
Thinking I should go for a run - hope the showers are done.

Yesterday was a good day for my Dad, today he slept a lot according to my brother, he went to see him today. The homecare we have for him on top of being in assisted living writes down their comments before they leave him every day. I guess this morning or last night he vomited and the CNA nurses from the assisted living did not bother to,--- how should I put this,--- rinse the chunks out of his clothes. YUK, they just bundled them and threw them in the hamper to leave for the homecare CNA's. They were furious. So my brother showed the notes to the head nurse of the assisted living. Shit's gonna hit the fan for someone soon. We'll see, I'll let you all know.

(((Deb))) i hope everything works out for your Dad....

Thanks ladies for the cake..............it was yummy.................hugs

Chris, I can't tell you how many times I would wake up and have to turn off lights, t.v., etc..Sometimes the garage door was even up. Started threatening to make my kids go to bed at the same time as me if they didn't cut it out. Hope your sinus infection gets better. I can usually make mine better if I sleep with a heat pillow across my sinuses.
-
Hey ducky what did you do on your birthday???
Chris......you need a vacation.....
it is 1112am....
shiela....is it hawaii time yet?
-
lol - Sheila - walking to the bathroom...
I need to buy some discipline for my family. Not that I'm all that disciplined, but at least I know I'm not and I work on it!
Judy - yeah- I've realized that the garage light was left on (by the other adult in this house)- letting the neighbors have a nicely lit view though the window of our hoarder garage. So embarrassing...

Internet was messed up this morning
I met my new Primary. He is pleasant and asked what side was th BC and went to my left arm for BP. That's good...he is listening.
He didn't hear any irregular heart beat....I already knew because no attacks for 2 weeks.
He found me in good shape and up to date with all my appointments.
He will see me either every 3 months or 6 months.....BW twice a year.
So far so good.....I'm having a test not EKG the other one that it's done with US to check all the heart functions.......OK he is paying attention....
I keep him....Tuesday I have to go back for that heart test............
He is on the 5th floor...didn't take the elevator walked
YES....I'm still fasting type of eating....I weigh 175 pound at the DR....which he wants me to do more walking to loose some weight.......
And that was my day.
Yogurt for breakfast
Broccoli Rabe scrambled eggs for lunch....dinner will be Salmon and AG....and plenty of water.

I get plenty of exercise walking to the bathroom! And the fridge!
My kids dont turn anything off! DH and I get up in the middle of the night and the TV, video games, lights are on. Food on the table, gallon of milk warming on the table too!
-
i remember those days.........
-
Ugh! Leaving the milk out. Hate that!
Your doctor sounds good - hope he keeps up the good work. Hope your ultrasound (echocardiogram?) shows everything is ok.
After I had my lumpectomy and snb (or was it the reexcision?) , even the nurses in recovery weren't smart enough not to put the automatic blood pressure cuff on my snb side arm. DUH! In my drugged stupor I had to say, "I don't think that should be on that arm..."
-
I had m&m's for lunch. I need to have my mouth wired shut. Again. lol

DD is 5' 7" and her boyfriend is 6' 2". He came prom shoe shopping with us and for fun, she tried on some really high heeled shoes to try to be taller than he is. I told her none of the shoes in the store would be high enough. I saw the 60's stuff on Fuzzy's thread and there was what I thought were really high platform boots - then I thought they looked like pants! Anyway - I googled 8" heels - that oughta make her taller than he is - and found these -
I kinda like them... would break my neck trying to walk in them...but they look cool.
-
I want some!!!
-
You'd probably look great in them!
-
Blondie..............On Sunday one daughter had dinner, and a cake...............on my actual birthday, went to "Anthony's in Drexeline" for dinner with 2 of my other kids, 5 grandchildren, 2 grandchildren in-laws, and 2 great-grandaughters...........................great meal, and I did appreciate it, but honest, I'm a "let's do someting at home type"...............It was a $500.00 night for them, and I thought that was "crazy"...............even though I enjoyed it, we could have done something a lot less, but by the time you do appetizers, drinks, entree, dessert, the bill climbs...............................crazy, crazy, crazy, but you do what your asked, and shut your mouth, so yo don't sound ungrateful...................right "Moms" you all been there.......................but it was thoughtful..............I still have 3 other kids that want to do something....remember I have 6............good Lord I hope its not dinner out again................WE're so many, no one wants the "mess" at their house..We're 36, and that is just us..........no other relatives, or outsiders, or friends..............
-
LOL Chris, we must have been posting at the same time! I WANT M and M's!! I could NEVER wear those shoes! I have so many problems with my feet!
Ducky, sounds like fun! My parents have dinners all the time for us, I don't know how they do it. There are 25 in my immediate family and the 26th is on the way! 36!! WOW!!!
-
Ha ha - I thought you wanted the shoes...I don't know how anyone could walk in them. Lady Gaga manages somehow -
36 in the family - wow. Hope they don't tire you out too much with the rest of the celebrations!
Was good and ate real food for supper - no m&m's...
-
Awww.....I want M & M's again!
-
-
NO!!! You don't have to have them! I WANT THEM!!!
-
-
