Thinking Out Loud.....

I'm in the 16+ area again. I HATE SNOW!!
It took me awhile to figure out the pink bra thing, but I got it!
Can't wait to see the pics Sandy!
-
Have fun Sandy in chocolate town. Years ago when DH &I and Rebekah in belly, my brother and his wife all went on vacation to visit sites in PA and VA. We passed through Hershey and all I could smell was chocolate, MMMMMMMMMMM.
I took a 2 hr nap and still feel groggy. Looks like I am in the 8 to 12 area also. Is it starting Tues night?
-
I think it starts very early Wed morning. Hope you are feeling better.
-
We will have 1-6" starting tomorrow afternoon which will equal 24" anywhere else
-
Is that because it's heavy wet snow??? I'm lost!
-
No, it's because Seattle can't handle so much as a snowflake. Literally, the stores are jammed tonight. The city is talking about the plans for snow removal and no matter what, it will fail. They just don't know what to do. It is really pretty funny.
On another note, I was planning to share a new recipe tonight but I am going to be doing a replacement vegetable. I was originally going to try burdock root (sort of like carrots). I peeled and started cooking but I don't like it texturally. So I am switching to stir fry green beans. No recipe needed for that.
The appeal of burdock root is that it's medicinal purpose is hair growth and follicular support
-
I know the recipe for stir fry green beans!! LOL! And lol on the snow! Now I get it!! I do not need hair growth. I am Italian and have hair in places that I do not care to!
-
Diane when you say hair grow do you put it on your head or eating makes your hair thicker?
WARNING for HOARDERS watcher .Tonights episode will be about hoarding 2500 rats and I saw some scenes. Im taping it but I wouldnt watch it.
((DEB)) ((SANDY))
Our snow will start tomorrow night.
lalalalala
-
I feel fine, just tired.
-
Martha Stewart has some nice detox recipes. But they seem to be a lot of work to prepare.
-
You eat the burdock root and supposedly it helps with follicular health and hair growth. It would have to taste a whole lot better for me to eat it. J was willing to eat it though.
I also have more than enough hair.....
-
I don't know that show........
-
Hair is thinning where its not suppose to.
But growing like grass where its not necessary.
-
-
So Sheila, are you saying you want some burdock?
-
I googled it. It doesnt look much like veggies.
I just look at them.
-
my father is in the hospital.
His friend called me little while ago, infection on the leg. They will keep him tonight.
I will go tomorrow and take care of all the insurance info or whatever its needed.
I wouldn't be very comfy calling a taxi all by myself. Its walking distance. I will walk there tomorrow.
-
Good Night.

Oh Sheila - I'm sorry - these things are so difficult. Wishing you well tomorrow...

Sheila, you should becareful wiith the snow coming. Maybe you should take a taxi home. I hope your Dad is okay. XOXO
-
I hope everything goes smoothly for you today, Sheila.
I've got beef stew in the crockpot - hope it comes out good. I'm making it for my MIL, hoping it warms up nicely tonight or tomorrow while she is stuck home because of the snow. She doesn't cook that much for herself anymore - hands hurt to peel potatoes, etc. - they eat out a lot. So maybe some "home-cooked" food might be nice. Even it it is made by someone who is a barely-adequate cook.
Kids were supposed to have a concert tomorrow night, but because of the snow, it will likely be postponed until Thursday. I just realized yesterday - because I am brain dead and can't think of things until the last minute - that my son is supposed to get his braces on on Thursday and would probably hurt too much to play in the concert that night! I specifically scheduled it for after the concert - should have left room for a snowstorm. Duh. Now I have to call the orthodontist and try to reschedule - and HOPE that the concert doesn't get rescheduled again! Will I ever be able to think of these things in a timely manner again?
-
My son is getting his braces on Thursday too. After that he has his first guitar lesson. Then we are attending a Skills USA banquet at my other sons school. He was nominated for awards so it should be interesting.
Good Luck on Thursday.

((((((Seyla and Dad))))))
Can you ladies send some snow down south?? I think I'd like it for about a week
-
Coonie your wish is granted.
Good Morning.
They still have no room for my father and he is still in ER.
i sounded stupid about the taxi but i don't like to be in one late hours all by myself.
hospital is very close to me about half a mile.
DR called 4 in the morning for info. i just called the ER still no room.
Well this is the story. The big problem is he hardly speaks any English.
Thank you my friends for caring.
HUGS
