Thinking Out Loud.....

You enjoy your time with your aunt, Mak. I have to prepare for our trip tomorrow.
-
My aunt is an eight year Stage 3 colon cancer survivor. She recently had a hysterectomy for a cancer growth but that was all contained in one area, did not need further treatment. She is not blood related, although I did have an aunt (my mom's sister) that died of colon cancer and a cousin that died of ovarian cancer. All of my father's brothers and sisters died of some form of cancer.
-
My aunt ( not blood) passed from horrific BC in the late 60s early 70s. My uncle passed a few years ago from Lung C. My paternal GM passed in the late 50s from some sort of C. When she finally went to the dr, they did exploratory surgery, opened her, closed her back up and she passed within a couple of weeks. I am so glad for the advancements in healthcare.

Well Seyla, let's just say stress makes my plumbing work. Just got off the phone with Matt, need to call Nana now and pass on the news.
-
We need more plumbing work to cover Linda's tank.
What should I do today?
I have return something to BB&B that i bought last week.
Or i can do little cleaning. Maybe some AG shopping.
I have my full energy today
-
Well, if you go the BB&B you can see the BB&B guy. That may bring sunshine to your day! When I have the energy cleaning is what I opt to do.
-
Meece - you have a son named Matt as well? I hope you are doing ok with the funeral, etc.
Seyla - Ok, tell the truth, there is someone at BB&B that you are interested in? Come on, you can tell us. Only sale on AG around here is for the really thick ones.
Deb - I can see why your blood test worried you so and thankfully it didn't worry docs.
Mak - Have a nice visit - those times become more precious.
I just finished making dinner! When the monthly cleaners come, I always cook before they arrive so I can have a very very clean kitchen for a day or two. Tonight is Vegetarian Chili with Beans and Sweet Potatoes. Secret ingredient is cocoa.
Ok, I better clean up around here. FIL sure leaves a trail. Doesn't matter, love him to death.
-
I would like to hear more about vegetarian chili.
We use Ground turkey for everything.
I like the service at BB&B. there is always someone at the door greeting you
The cashiers have more patience. The store is all lighted and organized. Prices are good and their coupons even makes it better.
-
Cooking like that is a wise idea, RCG.
I found AG at Costco yesterday for 2.88/lb but they stalks were big and didn't appear to be tender.
Yes, I have a Matt. When he was born I knew of 2 Matt's in my lifetiem. Then my best friend who had downplayed my name choice had a baby 3 months before me and named him Matt. So fo rthe first 24 hours he was Timothy, then I figured who cares, I know I didn't copy her. And then I noticed there were 2 or 3 Matt's in his classes all through school. Go figure.
-
A&P had it for 1.89 a pound. Dont feel to walk there. Its the last day of the sale they might not even have it. I always get raincheks but never did on fresh items.
-
I'm back and she continues to amaze me. She has been on chemo for a year now and is still doing well. She has PET scan again tomorrow and tehn they will decide what to do next.
Thanks for your survivor stories.
-
Im sure she was happy to see you Linda.
I was fed tonight. i had spinach bean soup. Sooooo yummy.
I was a running potato today even though I was frozen.
i have to fold the wash later. I'm resting now.
Maybe tomorrow I go see my guy at BB&B.

Are we singing the same song?
-
YES!
-
I thought so
-
You're voice is better than mine.
-
-
I think both your voices are beautiful. Sheila, make sure you spiff up before you head to BB&B.
The new chili recipe was absolutely delicious.
That effing dancing banana needs a nap
I just went shopping to get something for ME to wear to my own party on Sunday night. Thank goodness for Chico's.
-
I'm still waiting for the recipe for Vegetarian chili.

hahahahaha
-
Wow - I posted it this morning and it's not there. It is on my facebook page now so you can see it there with a photo.
Um no, it is a banana. Ok, maybe it could be a potato.
