Good Morning.
I tried to post the dancing potato but it would not post. use your imagination.
Big storm headed our way. DH took Monday and Tuesday off from work so we could have some time together before the kdis are off. Now they are saying snow starts Sunday night and ends Tuesday with well over a foot. I sure hope they are wrong!

Good morning - I think about 75% of this country is waking up to more weather. For us, it is freezing fog this morning to be followed by a pretty strong windstorm and then rain and more rain and more wind oh and yes, the possibility of snow for Sunday. So, so good for my skin, all the moisture I mean (that's the bright side). With these winds, we often lose power and yes, this is the weekend of the big birthday dinner. Awesome. I have lots of candles and a barbecue, it will work out.
My DH is "disappointed" in me. My FIL is hard of hearing but has hearing aids that he doesn't like to use. End result is he blasts the tv until I think I am going to scream, it is so loud that it totally stresses me out and I can't read or do anything. Last night, I twice asked, in a gentle manner, if we could turn it down just a tad. DH is disappointed because clearly I knew this was going to make his dad feel terrible. From what I could tell , his dad never heard me make the request. I think because DH isn't home with it blaring all day and if it's not on, he is playing the piano so probably doesn't understand that by 7, my ability to handle extra noise is limited. Am I wrong? I did say I would go up to bed early but that wasn't what DH wanted either...
-
As a hard of hearing person, I feel for you both! I listen to the TV very loud, otherwise I cannot hear what they are saying. Drives DH crazy but he knows I can't hear so he deals with it. Have you tried ear plugs? Seriously, just while FIL is visiting?
-
I think that is what I will need to do because I don't want to hurt his feelings but I do wonder why he won't use his hearing aids. Anyway, ear plugs are now on my list....
-
Its already 30 degree. Springtime
I dont know what Im doing yet.
Yes that can be very annoying.
I love my music very high volume.
TV almost whispers to me.
They are advertising that gadget like you can hear everything clearly even when people are whispering. I don't know know how much of it is true.
Now I sing loudly lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala
-
This is the one.
-
LALALALALALALAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
How do I sound?
-
You sound great but you are just a bit immodest with those girls all puffed out like that
