I have a question. Has anyone found a correlation between Arimidex and vitamin D deficiency?
-
I don't take Armidex, but I do take Tamoxifen. Perhaps you could post that question on the Vitamin D thread as there are many more women active on that one. That being said, please come back and join us again! We LOVE to talk to people!
Are you newly diagnosed?
-
Deb takes Arimidex. I take Femara
Please come back like Linda said we really like people.
-
I take Arimidex. I also take VD and Calcium because Arimidex can cause bone loss.
-
The first time I had my d level checked, about 1 year after dx, my score was 19. Last time it was checked it was 35. I take about 5,000 iu's a day and am a sun godess, well as much as you can be in MA. I was on RX for vit d, really didn;t do anything. take OTC D3!!
-
how often do you check the levels my last and only one was 37 or 38.
I dont take supplements except what comes with caltrate.
-
I've been checked each 4 months over the past year or so. My dr. wants it to be in the normal range which is 30-100. Big range. I want it closer to 100. I have 50,000 IU's of D3 that I take once a week along with 2,00 iu's a day and whatever is in my multivitiman. I thought my level would have sky rocketed over the summer while I spend the days at the beach with no sun block (italian skin, don;t burn), but it didn;t. Neither did my DH's. His score at last check in August was 33. He loves the sun more than I do!
-
HAPPY WEEKEND, I AM OFF, YEA!!!
-
Hi Sandy. You came to the boards and BCO is working normal speed again.
Thanks God.
Linda maybe I will ask my regular DR which Ill be seing him this coming Wednesday to have another one with my lipid levels. I cant start worrying about it. Maybe it got little higher.
-
Good for you Sandy!!! ENJOY!!!!!!
I wouldn't worry too much about it Sheila. Just get tested and then supplement as needed.
-
