Not really a vacation; but going to Springfield, Illinois for a week with a bunch of teachers and learning all about Abraham Lincoln. I am a history nerd, so I was in heaven!

since you asked.......
at the ocean with family and friends with the following schedule:
A. get up and have coffee outside....visit, watch the waves and birds
B. Get the beach gear together, spend the day under some big umbrellas and coolers with sandwiches, snack food and drinks....walk on the beach, swim, read, nap, snack...repeat
C. go to a fun seafood restaurant in the evening
D. take a night time walk on the beach
E. go in and play games
F. take another walk on the beach

room with my wood stove in it. The room has no purpose and I love it. But the hearth is awkward and the lay out etc. If I had the money I could make it beautiful! (with some guidance.)

Badger! Love a fellow Dead Head! I actually saw them 13 times before Jerry passed away. I still go see Ratdog (Bobby's band) about once a year. Last time I went I was very pregnant with my second son. Oh how times change! I felt a bit like an old lady!

Travel down to Mississippi with 2 girlfriends on a Ghost Busting Trip. We had t-shirts made up, a sign in the van window, one piece uniforms and a nephew's ecto-plasma guns. We stayed at 4 different restored plantations - all with ghost-story histories and had a ball making everyone laugh at our outrageousness. PS - We were in our late 40's when we did this.

WellWater- that is AWESOME!
My one regret is not taking better advantage of college. Long story short I went to prep school, had already lived in a dorm etc. Went to college for one year and decided I wanted to move to an apartment with friends, work and go to college. DUMB! So much harder. But it did make me a better person. But I should have stayed young and naive, ate in the dining room and had the roof over my head paid for.
