The most useful appliance in my kitchen is...

microwave.....I'm old enough to still be in "awe" of cooking a baked potatof in 8 minutes.
I did just get a Shark Vac-then-Steam and keep it in the kitchen closet to do the floors so if that counts as a kitchen appliance, I'll change my answer to that!

nurse's aid at a nursing home with the really ill/impaired people.....worst because it was so sad....

The best job I ever had was when I was a bartender in my early 20's. I was busy, the nights flew by, I made great money and it was fun!!
Ruth- that is the worst job. When I was 20 I went and worked part time in a nursing home setting the patients up for their meals etc. In two weeks three of my patients passed away. I would go to bring them breakfast and they were gone. I gave my notice and told them it was just too sad.

mice. They are so small and harmless (I think) but I am terrified of them. I can't even dispose of dead ones.

When it comes to being a chatterbox I could be president. Sometimes I hate that about myself, but I can't help it! I went to a pampered chef thing last night and knew almost no one. But people kept saying things that just left the door open for the old one two joke and I couldn't help myself! Some probably thought I was nuts, others may have laughed....I don't know.
