LIFE'S A BEACH!

Good afternoon Beach Angels!!! Hallelujah, the workday is finally over. I think this has been the longest Friday in history.
Sahalie -- I haven't seen the babies since then because I haven't been out back since last weekend. I didn't want to keep disturbing them. I went out this afternoon and only saw one of the adults. I think the babies must be out of the nest by now.
Spar -- I can't wait to see pictures of you next projects. Maybe you could think of something that we could all participate in and contribute to.
Faith -- I can't wait to see your projects blossom and I'm glad you are going to stay at the Beach for a while. I realize that things are progressing with your life's work that will keep you busy but we will always keep you seat around the beach bonfire ready and waiting for you. Please dazzle and challenge us as often as you are able.
Celia -- you seat is ready and waiting too. Mario is ready with a nice cool drink when you find your way back to the beach.
Wings -- I guess you are getting ready to hop on the motorcycle and start singing 'born to be wild'. Have a great time and enjoy.
Well, this is just a brief drop in. I think I'm going to run get some Friday evening dinner and snacks before the crowds start. BBL

Wings, I keep thinking of that john travota movie "wild hogs" it was so funny be careful and stay out of trouble but have tons of fun.
Hey, Always you can always come to okla and i can put you to work on projects.
right now I am making a cake (pound cake) and am fixing to go fix some orange icing for it and am going to try to grow an orange tree from the seed, have been reading how to do it. My husband laughed at me but i know my beach friends won't do that. right?
Hope all is well on the beach and see ya'll later.
-
Spar............. here's to dreams that start out as seeds. Whooooooohoooooooooo!!
I made it safely to Sarah's. The babeez are hardly recognizable -- they are so BIG.
Wonder Boy is chattering like a monkey. He will now attempt to say just about anything that you prompt him on. My favorite is still when he says: dune buggy. This afternoon he said "koala bear" and I thought I was gonna just melt into a puddle.
Friday night. Let's start the boogie party!!
-
Now these are my idea of oranges!! They'd be such an asset at our colorful beach:
-
Tonight let's have fresh-squeezed orange juice at the bonfire...... we'll mix it up:
-
Well, got the cake made and went to make the icing, cut the orange into and put it on the squeezer and I'll be darned it didn't have any seeds. I was so disappointed so now got to go to the store soon and get some oranges with seeds!
It is so sweet and heart warming when little kids are learning to talk, it use to crack me up when my granddaughter would say lilingroom for livingroom.
Faith, I bet those oranges has seeds.
Just got threw getting a list from my DH of country songs he wants me to download and make him a special CD so soon I will get started on that.
What we doing on the beach tonight. Just relaxing and listening to the waves?
When you love the beach and you love the rocks you can't get much better than this.
Peace be with you beachfriends. Have a good evening
-
Look who I spotted coming down the hard-packed beach!! Mario has a new ride:
-
And some "orange art"............... I'm attempting to fill the gap, while Celia is so glaringly absent from us. Heartful of love for our Art Queen -- where ever you are at this moment.
-
faith, those are the most beautiful all colored oranges i have ever seen, wouldn't it be nice if it was.-for real? This was painted with God's paint brush.
-
gorgous colors............................

I am so happy. I have been thinking of all the people that make lifes fight easier. Sahalie, Keep on keeping on. AlwaysHope, Thanks for the hugs and hope. Faith,I love your pictures and caring. Here's our beach rainbow, FPAngel.

Oh I just love walking down to the shore's edge and finding it filled with rainbows!!
Thank you footie for your ever optomistic post and Jasmine for these visual reminders...... the storms, tho at times frightening and dramatic do pass and the sun returns.
Now it's time for me to turn my attention toward my Vegas trip...... I'm headed there to be one of dozens of presenters at the national Kindergarten teacher conference. This in a very big opportunity for me. I'm not one of the 3 keynotes, 'just' a daily presenter, but I have an author's signing at the end of the week -- which will give me a little extra light of attention.
It's all VERY exciting. Probably will be 110 degrees in the shade. LOL. I'll be thinking of each of you here at our perfectly weather controlled beach, with the continual light breeze and the perfect temperatures.

Goodmorning beachies, I am late been doing laundry and getting ready to go to the city with my dd but won't leave for another 30 minute. When I get back I want on that beach with my perrier and a good book and a gentle breeze blowing on my face.
Lisa, do you take your own pictures for posting? I went out in the yard yesterday with my digital camera and caught all kinds of stuff on film. love taking pictures.
Always, love those rainbows, they made me smile!
Debbie, it looks like things are getting some better. Is the ramp already built and ready to go. If we lived close enough I would put my husband to work there. He can do anything.
Everyone have a great day.
-
With Sahalie sleeping in late, I've taken the liberty of posting some activities for the day:
Bon Bini...... Bon Dia, my Aruban princesses!!

Here ya go, FPAngel....
-
Lisa, all my pictures go to Kodak easy share but it won't let me copy and paste. So I don't know how to get my pictures on here. I took pictures of baby watermelons, sunflowers, just different things. Some time I can get stuff to post by uploading to photobucket but the last couple of days they won't even copy and paste from there so I don't know what I am doing wrong. Anyway Hope everyone has a good evening of peaceful easy feelings. I have not even learned how to post a song from utube on here yet.
-
Spar, you should be able to also take the memory card from your camera or plug in a usb cable between your computer and camera and load the pictures to your hard drive as well as upload them to the kodak site. That would make them available to send to the photobucket site. It may just be some type of setting in your camera or software on your computer.
Posting a youtube song is easy. I'll try to post some easy steps on how to do that as well.
-
Hi Spar, I use photobucket.com too
I use Picasa to upload my pix to fiddle with them, then export them to my hard drive..
then Photobucket can access them...
When I had Kodak easyshare, I just used my card not the camera to download from
and I cancelled the easyshare...it was too much of a hassle for me..
-
Hi ya beachies.
I'm so proud of myself. I continue to work on stretching the umbilical cord and go over to my house for chunks of the day -- giving Sarah support, but not living here 24/7.
Anyhow. I got home to my house and accomplished my micro-movement goal (from one of my favorite books: just start with teeny tiny progress & keep stacking micro-movements on top of one another.)
So my micro movement was to get my sewing machine from Sarah's to my house and get it set back up in my studio and reclaim that space from the last 6 months of inactivity in there.
I did it. Talk about MICRO!! but I did it. Sewing machine back to it's spot (I literally had to shoo the spider from his web to get it re-located..... a very telling truth.) I got my ironing board cleared too and actually sewed some on an existing quilt/illustration. So the grand deadlock has been detonated.
Back here to put the babeez to bed.
hugs to each and all as you splash along the beach......
-
time for early morning hugs at our very quiet and serene beach.......
let's fill the beach with color:
-
Good morning Beach Angels. Got my coffee and settled in to watch an early morning movie. It's raining like you wouldn't believe here. But the good thing is that I haven't had to get the sprinklers out to water my lawn so far this year.
Surprise song of the day! Here's our Karen Carpenter. Another national treasure we lost way too soon.
