    Inching closer and closer to the deadline on my picture book project.

    One final page of facts to put together...... everything else is lining up. This morning I started my day with an amazing endorsement, for the back cover, from a co-director of a children's picture book museum. His words brought me to tears (and you know how hard that is: LOL) anyhow, it's amazing to read his words of affirmation.

    To our new beachettes, this is a project that I've been working on for over five years..... so it will be thrilling to get it finished and printed!!!!!

    I'll let ya know when it's time to start that party!

    Just got home from the Laguna Beach Pageant of the Masters...

    I could have stayed there all day...

    Faith I have said the same words about being a fish in another life thats why I am so inlove with the ocean. Too funny.  Love the photos ladies. Now I will share some beauty in the air from my DH.

    Faith - yes I live on an island. I live on the intracoastal about a mile from the beach. Here is a picture from my balcony looking toward the beach and sunset.

    my jealousy is only tempered by the fact that I like you all so much!!!!  of course, I do have my weekend getaway, and I remembered to charge my camera this week and then remembered to bring it with me - I'm 2 for 2 so far!  now let's see if I can get some good pics tomorrow or sunday when we go to the bay :)

    Mum, I keep going back to this pic from your hubby & my jaw just drops: over & over. It is just stunning. I realize that he's got some serious camera gear, but he has such patience & perseverance to catch something like that. Brilliant!!! Wow!!!! I am so glad to have him here on our beach -- thru your sharing.

    Lisa. Love your collage. You've put me in the mood to make some new ones myself!

    Beachies. I got my third 'endorsement' for the back of my book today!!!! That was the last one that I needed. Tomorrow I will create my 'extra' page #32 and it will be seriously complete..... once I get these last couple of pieces to the book designer that is, closer & closer & closer. My goal was to have it done by the end of the month. Start stoking up those fireworks -- I think we're gonna make it!!!!!

    Love to everyone walking the beach with us or reading along. I just had a bit of an update from our Julz & she's had a serious tough time this summer. Send her some good vibes when ya git a chance -- I know she'd appreciate it.

    Beach babes, the pix are outstanding! Lisa, I think Laguna Beach is on my bucket list now. Yes, I cruise the intracoastal. I have several friends with boats who come pick my and DH up and off we go to dinner, sunset, etc. Also, they have a dinner cruise paddle boat I have enjoyed a few times as well.

    Mary, they shoot off fireworks on Labor Day in my beach town after the Florida Orchestra is done playing (that is VERY cool, classical on the beach). I'll surely get some pix of that.

    Lisa!!! You know how MUCH I love Laguna  Beach!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously could live there. Probably a little expensive, but I could live off bologna and bread.......LOL

    we used to have a boat launch, but insurance premiums got too much so they let it go, but we still have the wood and people still use it ... just at your own risk!!  that's the background here on the right .. man i love this place ... thanks God
