Oh, mary, how beautiful..
-
here's another ... at high tide, water comes up the road that we drive to get down to the bay ... many campers have golf carts to tool around in too ... something about the reflection on the water always gets me ... hope you all like

posting again, hoping to not only start a new page with a picture, but be able to show the picture under the stupid ads on the right side!!!
-
-
mary, I can't figure a way out of the ads except to add a narrow photo
-
that is sooooooo peaceful!!!!!!
-
Even though they are a pain, I guess the ads make it possible for us to have this place to connect.
-
Beautiful pictures Beachies! Hope everyone had a wondermous weekend!!
I can't believe we didn't have a party on August 9, 2010 !!! 8-9-10
We should plan a HUGE beach party on 10-10-10..... The day will be easy for everyone to remember!!!

Mumayn, Can we meet halfway? Snow REALLY freaks me out. It is why I moved to FL after living in Erie PA, Harrisburg PA and Washington DC. (notice I kepts going further south?) I like not a lot of clothes and 80 degrees.

PARTY!!
PARTY!!
PARTY!!
PARTY!!Coonie, my Cooniest. We did party on 8-9-10, I know for a fact, as that was my hubby's birthday. In fact we kissed each other at exactly 5:06 and seven seconds, on 8-9-10!!!!!!
How funny.
I have a sweet music friend who is getting married on 10-10-10!! They lived in Chicago & we spent the evening of 8-9-10 at their house. LOL. We were having a ball with all of those numbers in our conversations.
TeeHee. I just realized in four years, my birthday will be 12-13-14!!!!! I SWEAR I'm gonna have a real life party. Mark your calendars now. I will expect you all in attendance -- in real life. I will reserve a shore line somewhere & we will gather. Here. Here. I declare it!!

I know that this site is all about beaches, but I just had to share this picture. It was drawn by my almost, ( come November ) 15 yr old grandson and I was blown away and needed to share. Hope you don't mind.
-
Wow, Chrissy! He is quite talented!. You are right to be proud!
-
Chrissy....amazing!!!! What a talented artist he is
Mum and Lisa...I so enjoy coming on this site...even if I don't always comment I truly enjoy all the pics...such beauty!
Hope all you beachettes have a wonderful day!!! xoxoxo
-
This is the beach on Lake Michigan that we'll be going to this weekend to celebrate our family reunion....Soooooo looking forward to it!!! Trent who is now five kept telling me all day yesterday that we only have 4 more sleep nights until we go... gotta love it.
-
Brain spent.
Chrissy. As a former art teacher, I can absolutely agree with what the others have already declared about the drawing by your grandson. Terrific!!!!!
Arnie...... have a fantastic get-away-reunion. I always look forward to the pics you share. You have such an awesome extended family & it always shows in the pictures.
Lisa. I have a question for you, too. Where is that picture from??? The beach with no water??? Does that happen to be Sedona, AZ?? I can't remember if I told you that I made a quilt illustration for my book, based on Sedona. Maybe I've told you that a gazillion times. In any case, after seeing all 16 of them now (illustrations that is) I think the Sedona one is my favorite, artistically speaking.
My yoga class has decided to give me a launch-my-almost-a-book party day after tomorrow. We went out for coffee after class this morning (which I don't drink, LOL) and they were wondering why my voice was so hoarse.... so I began to attempt to describe what on earth it is that I "do."
One thing led to another and they all decided that it was high-time that I be fetted for my efforts. (Keep in mind, I haven't even had the first conversation with any of these gals, beyond saying good morning.)
So I have a happy little smile on my face tonight -- thinking about the generosity of others & the myriad of ways that we can support each other, whatever the situation brings to light.
Whooohooooo.
Hope that everyone sleeps well tonight.
Maybe we can have a happy-hump-day party tomorrow. It's about time for some more nonsense.
