LIFE'S A BEACH!

Hi Jaz.
Sounds like a great day you had. I love crafts too.
I used to make everything even baby hats out of old denim jeans.
I need a neck and shoulder massage Jaz. And something to prop my eyelids open.
Can you come over or send one of the beach boys?
Out in the sun does this to me. Especially when it's hot like where you are and where
I am.
I'm fading fast. : )
-
Send the cabana boys up after DH goes back to the resort for his nap.
-
Shrink. I'm shocked. Slapping my jaw in disbelief.
Oh you mean the Margarita's and Nacho's.
Don't you?
-
Shrink...sending the cabana boys right over!
-
Faith - My condolences to your sister's family over the loss of her BIL. So sorry the family is going through such a rough time. No poolside today. DH and I went for a short ride on our new Harley that he purchased on vacation at a Harley dealer not far from you in Dover OH..... did you hear us honk? Went to Red Lobster for lunch and had my fav coconut shrimp - yum! You and DH need to hop on your bike and join the rest of us.
Foots - So sorry you are having insurance issues. You are such a trooper for all you are going through. Sending you a tall glass of lemonade.
Sahalie - I can't see the side car picture but the biker doggies were cute. I'll send Mr. Wings out on his new Harley and you can go for a ride. Thanks for the Angel button project - great idea for my kiddies.
JaZ - Were you surprised to hear the bachelor and his young star girlfriend broke up already?
Lisa - Adorable GD. I could kiss on those cheeks forever.
Shrink - Speaking of kissing............??????
Spar - Your pink Christmas tree sounds a lot like my pink christmas tree. I remember that same feeling not wanting to put a tree up but I knew my family would be disappointed if I didn't. So I went to Hobby Lobby (must be a popular store for the beach gals teehee) and found all sorts of pink decorations and a pink tree. I dedicated it to all the courageous women of BC. All the pink twinkling lights reminded me of pink stars of hope. I named it my Hope Tree in honor of my BC sisters.
Jan - Are you riding this wkend? DH and I went to the local Harley shop and of course he found more bling for the bike.
Iris, Neesie, Margo - Sending you bear hugs.
Wings
-
Just kidding! Those aren't really our cabana boys. I think they are the beach janitors.
-
Hey Wings! I haven't had a Christmas tree in over 12 years. No, I'm not Scrooge. I just had a dog that was part goat and would eat the tree and ornaments. I will probably put one up this year though. Have to find my old tree ornaments and lights.
-
Regarding the Cabana Boys Jaz is sending to Shrink.
*
OMG!
*
(PS. That sounds like she is going to shrink the Cabana boys. Well they could use some shrinkage I guess. OMG again.)
Help
-
Jazz. Well I should hope so.
Wings. Are you talking the English guy and the blonde bombshell?
Jaz. Forget finding the old stuff. Make all new. You will have fun.
Lights are inexpensive. Get some pink flamingo and sea shell ones.
Wingers. Ok thank you for letting me the sidecar is missing. Anyone else?
I'll try to fix it.
A new Harley? Wow. I have never ridden on a Harley.
Never eaten at a Red Lobster.
Have never heard of Hobby Lobby. Must be a southern treasure trove.
I have had coconut shrimp though. It is out of this world delightful. Delish.
-
Wings -- I don't really follow the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows. I'm mainly a Big Brother Fan and sometimes Survivor.
-
Good night Beach Babes.
My eyes are begging to sleep but it's too early so I better go dunk my head
in cold water or go to bed.
Ore voyure and sleep tight.

Hi all, just got home from playing bridge
I had crummy cards tonight, oh well..
-
Looks good for the beach today. I started playing canasta about 6 months ago. I'm turning into my mother. I visited her in the nursing home (a nice one) yesterday and she was talking about her roomate who died about a week ago. She said, "You know, when you die, it's pretty fatal." I should have a beach book with all of the Jeanisms she's created over her 92 years. Her name is Jean by the way. When I told her I got married, she said, "Who told you to do that?" I'm 67 and. I didn't think I needed to ask anyone. DH is looking mighty tan and fit, better than some of the cabana boys. A pina colata will go down nicely with dinner. He does most of the cooking. I go to Costco's.
-
Well, I was going to take the time and read back and see what is happening with everyone else but that didn't happen. DD showed up unexpectedly Friday night for the weekend so I've been busy with her. Hope everyone is doing well.
-
Good morning Beach Angels! Happy Sunday. I'm just sitting here waiting for the coffee to brew.
Shrink -- what a cute mother you have. She sounds like fun. Yup, dying is just about as fatal as it gets.
I play canasta too and love it!
Lisa -- you are such a busy lady. I've never played bridge. It seemed like a hard game to learn but heck...I have trouble playing spades. Canasta and gin rummy are my card games. Plus, Texas Hold'em.
Sahalie -- what wild and crazy adventures do you have lined up for us today? I think I'm going to stay inside today since they've issued a heat advisory for my area.
Faith -- I think you are probably in NH by now. Hope you have a spectabulous day.
Wings -- hello to you too. Would love to see some more vacation pictures.
FPAngel -- did you check in yesterday? If not, I hope things are going better for you and that you have a good day.
Spar -- hello to you sweetie. I'm going to start on one of my craft projects today. You've inspired me to get off my lazy fanny and get busy.
Hi to BikerJan too.
If I missed anyone, my apologies. Hi to everyone from A to Z.
-
Hi Margo....glad to see you pop in. Hope you have a good day with DD.
-
Does everyone remember this classic from the past? Its one of my favorites....
-
i just love sahalie's beachie keen greetings -- sitting at my gate, awaiting my plane
this is gonna be a record quick trip as I fly home tomorrow......
had such a great visit with my sister's family, so crummy that i had to duck out early this morning
my niece's birthday is tomorrow so DH got her the neatest ice cream TURTLE cake to help add a couple smiles into this desperately sad time for them -- if calories make for happiness, we were all tickled pink
it was splendiforous
happy weekend to everybody...........
keep your fingers crossed that my back and i hold out tomorrow.........
dratted Murphy
loves yas
Lisa that baby is just adorable -- i could fix her up w/my WB!! LOL

Super Spectacular Sunday to all the Beach babes busy as Bees this fine morning!
It's so nice to see everyone !
Thanks Faith for your very nice comment.
How did last night go for Sarah.
Margo. Have a great visit with DD. At least cooler temps up here today.
How about for you?
Shrink. Bless your Mama.
We never know those feelings till we become Mothers ourselves.
It's the ritual of motherly tradition.
Sparbabes. Good Sunday to you and hope today is a fun day with crafts n' things.
I'll look for more for us. Any ideas?
Wings. What's your Mustang to do now that you have a new Harley.
I'll take it. : )
Foots. We all hope and pray things come together for you.
That people come forward to offer a wonderful new safe ramp for you.
Bonus Serious Mon Ami's.
(Can anyone see the "sidecar" today? Just wondering)
-
The title of this picture cracks me up.
"Bumble Bee Probing Proboscis"
Say that fast 10 times and see if you don't laff.
-
Jaz. That's a snappy tune to get the day going. Love it.

Ready to rumble
-
I just had to post the sun catcher after it has dried and hung in the window. It looks to much better and enjoy watching the sun through it so much.
All the kiddos are home name, and peace and quite is once more in the house. Getting ready for big brother. Love that stupid show. I had a feeling about the bachlor that Matt picked the wrong girl since she is such an actress, of course their lives are going opposite directions
After big brother I am coming to the beach and hoping for a tall glass of ice tea or lemonaid. I did something really stupid this weekend and will be back to tell on myself later. Until then hugs and love to all.
-
Oh wow! That is gorgeous!!!
-
That looks wonderful, Spar.
Who do you think will get the boot from the house? Who do you want to see go? I want Jessie gone. He's so arrogant.
Good evening to the rest of the Beach Angels. Looks like its been a busy Sunday with travel, family and friends.
Sahalie -- how did the babeez shower go?
Shrink -- hope you had a wonderful day.
Wings -- I bet you are out on the open road collecting bugs with your teeth again.
Faith -- have you arrived yet? Hope your conference goes well.
FPAngel -- you sure have been quiet. I hope things are okay with you.
Hi to Lisa, Summer, Deborye, Neesie, Odalys, Biker, Amy, Celia
Hugs to everyone from A to Z.
-
Big brother is getting more and more interesting. The house was turned upside down tonight, now I can't wait to see who gets the power of veto.
Am very excited about getting to see my son next Sunday, sometimes i miss him so much it is like a physical ache. We talk on the phone once a week, and he always comes home for Thanksgiving and my birthday which is sometimes on thanksgiving day.
Hope all has had a good weekend. Would love to hear what everyone has done over the weekend.
Our little farm has been neglected having both kids and visiting friends and water park, Both kids enjoyed the new church we are going to. We are starting a food thing where once a week we cook a huge meal and it is free to everyone in need so I will enjoy that. I am always telling my husband I want to give back more to the world because we have been so blessed. Tomorrow will be watering a lot, gardens, flowers and veges. and extra attention to all the pets. Have to also go stock up on grocery's (hate grocery shopping)
Also noticed when we were at the city gas was cheaper but every station we pulled into is selling that ethenol stuff. Is that happening in your part of the world?? It is cheaper but husband said you didn't get as good gas mileage and its not good for your car engine.
Faith, so very sorry your family is going through all this saddness. Hugs to you.
Lisa, the baby is so beautiful. The only cards I know how to play are old maid and go fish.
Jaz, can't wait to see some of your crafts. enjoy!!!
Hi wings, forget the others, I'll take on the mustang!
foots, what kind of ramp do you have now? Is it something like plywood? Do you have any kids or family close to help? Just wish we could help somehow.
Have missed all of you and already love everyone. Hope all is well
Am thinking of you ((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))
-
I would like to see libra out but choosing from who she put up, I want Jesse gone too, he thinks he is so stunning with his muscled up body.
Here is wings and bikers teeth after a trip, but it is so worth it.
-
I forgot to tell about my stupidity. I got up Sat morning and took my medicine and then like an hour before we left to go to the water park I told my husband oh no I forgot to take my medicine and took it again so I got double blood pressure and double diabetic meds so he said he would have to drive us in case I pass out or something. I decided to take my blood sugar to see if it is too low and was shocked that after double meds it was nearly 300. So in my house we no longer will have cookies, ice cream, pies, candy, or sugar in my tea. Am going to have to try to get it back under control. I think I'm good so I quit pricking my finger and then a shock like this comes along. My husband says tomorrow we have to set up some kind of system so we know for sure i took my meds right. Now that I have told on myself you guys can tell me your not old enough to do that stuff yet ( bet ya thought I was gonna say call me stupid)
Have a wonderful evening and whole next week everyone.
-
Dear Beach Friends, Spar, Please take care, My mom didn't and I wished she had. How about an alarm watch to set for med time. I love your fruit and shrimp with tea. I went to church and made it threw but got shaky and weak, So I wrapped my arm and waited for some men from the church to check my fence, My neighbor has pushed it over my way and they are going to put a board across the fence. I pray it happens soon, they are the ones that have not finished the back ramp. AlwaysHope I am ok watch my lung its alittle sore, But the Lord sees me threw alot. Sahalie I love the yellow car, It reminds me of the movie I never saw, My brothers lost some money, So I wait outside(Riverside Calif 104degrees) SoCalLisa, How are you today, Faith, I still say yours are the cuties. To anyone I forgot heres a hug-------- Take care Debbie
