Even though I wanted Ramiele to go home it was very sad to see her so upset to be leaving. So many tears ... pondfrogs, I agree with you about Brooke - re: both being annoying and a goodie/angel ... she really annoys me.
what will the theme be next week ? any guesses ??

Jen, I wish I knew about David Cook's brother, will have to look into it. He seems like a genuinely nice person, I'm sorry he has high blood pressure and had to go to the hospital. I wonder if the pressure caused it. I agree 100% with what you said about Brooke! Maybe she'll have some humility now. I think she was thinking she would just sail through.
Good riddance Ramiele .. she was due to leave 3 shows ago, as was Kristy. I think Kristy is still there only because of her looks.
SLH .. I believe Sheryl Crow had a lumpectomy and caught it early enough that she didn't do chemo ... but I'm not positive. I don't know what type of bc she had. I'm unsure of the others. Oh, I've always loved Dolly Parton, she's so talented and funny!
KLynn .. Liked your synopsis of the show ... but I did enjoy Michael. Too funny about Paula. Her critique of Brooke was .... You are (long pause) Brooke White! LOL
NBN .. Your synopsis was awesome also. I'm all ready to buy David Cook's CD also! You forgot to critique Kristy Lee Cook. Maybe because she's forgettable! LOL I agree about Carly and Ann Wilson.
whoopschangedmyname .. too true about the "obvious interview" with David Cook LOL
-
Bom dia Anjo (Angel) e miudas... (and girls):
You R right, I forgot her... chemo brain me... almost five years later and still kicking my behind!
I was happy to see Malubay go... I do think she can sing, she is very very cute and in time she might have a career... she is just too young right now and not ready.
In addition, AI should not make the "kicked outs" sing after they are told they are leaving... that is very cruel. Let them all sing before. Kudos to Malubay for singing so well. I would probably sound like a cat with its OOs caught in a door! LOL
The Africa segment got me going... .
I was born there in much better days and when it comes down to children... I just wish I had all the $ in the world to protect them, senior neglected citizens and animals... all in a big island... all protected and well.
-
Not only do the "Losers" have to sing through their tears and misery, but they have to sing their losing song!
Lilia, when you said that you were from a different country, I figured you were from Texas!
My son's best friend's father, Mark Mathabane, wrote the book Kaffir Boy, about growing up impoverished in South Africa. Now his daughter is going to Princeton. A very smart and successful family rising from destitution.
So Bo Bice has another CD out. His last one was not good. I guess I'll give him another try, since I was a big fan when he was on AI.
There was an article about Kristy Lee and her hometown of Selma in the paper today. It's a tiny town in southern Oregon, and everybody in town votes for her for 2 hours. She needs to be cut next week because she's obviously not as good as the others, but I have to give her credit for being a good sport.
Did you notice, Carly listened to Simon and wore sleeves! Her hubby has a tattoo covering half his face. Radical.
sally
-
Sallie: I liked your comment about the looser singing their losing song... LOL
Texas a different country... that is an entire different thread... LOL
Bo Bice: I though he sounded a little like Lenny Krevitz (sp.?).
Elliot: I think his mom had a battle w/ cancer. So sad.
K. L. Cook go?!?! Hum... I have to see what some others bring to the plate next week.
-
Not surprised by Ramiele. We know who the next two should be. Then things really will get fun! And EXCITING!
-
I know, I was saddened by Ramiele, too.
Yes, Elliot's mom began with bc, but the report from TMZ said there was no cause of death stated as of yet (that was from April 2nd, so I don't know the latest).
David Cook is under a lot of stress apparantly from worry for his brother (poor guy-we certainly know what kind of stress cancer can bring our families). He played it down a bit, and I was impressed by his sense of.....humbleness?......I don't know. He handled it well.I cracked up at Carly saying that Simon was never going to apologize to her-that took guts.
I am a big fan of Dolly, but I couldn't watch her entire performance. I just think she is getting too far up there in years. She just seems like it's catching up with her. She was hardly even singing for the part I saw. Just sort of talking in rhythm. I know her song had a lovely message about Jesus, and I cracked up when she told Seacrest that she "has Jesus but he has Simon."
Funny lady! -
I didn't get a chance to watch last night's show, but I am not surprised that Ramiele got the boot. She just has not sung up to her potential. I had such high hopes for her, too. It was a stroke of luck for Kristy Lee Cook that this week was country week, because that was the first really decent job she did (in my opinion) except for her Amazing Grace, which we heard a bit TOO much already!! Stilll, there is no denying that the girl is stunningly beautiful! I do like Brooke, but I agree with some of you that she is starting to get annoying!!! As far as who I liked this week, I thought both Davids were great, and Michael Johns was good, too. I am just blown away by how great Carly is. For me, the rest of them are just so so. I am still going with David, C, David A and Carly as the final three. But each week surprises me, so you never know!
I saw on the American Idol boards that the theme next week will be "spiritual songs." Probably because next week is "Idol Gives Back." So I guess spiritual songs could be just about any genre! It will be interesting to see what they pick. I do know that NO one will be sent home next week!

pass the tissues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
seems cheri has made herself even more enemies- too late to change that now huh you psycho?
her members didn't much care for the public here learning what they were really made of. sorry too late! ya'll already admitted you were making the posts.
skanky angel was shown for the vindictive bitch she really is...too late to post another picture of an angel on a beach to make it all better huh skankcharlene?
amy let it all hang out and we all gagged. too late to take it back now huh?
fatsusan had the balls to post here today claiming she was proud to be making the posts being so mean to everyone here found out it was too late to get cheri to lie and say that she didn't write any of them
bikerbitch you bragged how proud you were of being a poster of parodies. too late to change that now huh?
then there is the holy "always hope" or "jasmine" or "jasmineinbloom" or "tammy" or "fortune" or "realitytvfan"...too late for you, everyone now knows all the names you use when you are writing posts to hurt Doris huh?
cheri who gets permanantly blocked from this sight because she is out of her fucking mind, opens a private sight to cut everyone up when she wasn't making fake id's and posting trash here. then she kept getting banded from here so she opens the private sight and has her idiots put the link in there posts and then no one from visits it!! boo hoo!! sniff sniff!! so then she decides to go off her medicine and let all her personalities loose and she starts the parodies to get her revenge on the "people that wronged her" ooooo i am so skeered!
so what happens? her only friends in the world think it is funny at first, then they see no one else is laughing. they see no one here is laughing instead they are all saying you really are the bitches everyone said you were!! and then they look at what cheri is writing and they start to see that she is totally and completely nuts.
poor me o my! what are they to do now? Oh boo hoo! wo is meeeeeeeeee! we really fucked up this time!!!!!!!
cheri gets another idea in her psychomind! she is gonna claim full responsibility for the writing of the posts and that she will ban her only friends in this world from her own site. its less embarassing that way because her loser members were gonna leave her anyway. they may be stupid but scary is scary and cheri is fucking psycho scary.
cheri, you are a looooooooooser!!!!!!!!!! always have been!!!!!!! always will be!!!!!!!!!!!!! your not fit to walk on the same ground the people on this board shit on, that is if you could walk. ha ha!!!!!!!
skankgel charlene, fatsusan, bikerbitch, amyasshole, irisidiot, it is all tooooooooooooooo late.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Margo,
Tell us how the Bon Jovi and Daughtry concert was!
Looks like we had a Troll posting last night all over BC.Org.

A little too late for my commentary :->
Surprised that Kristy is still there. I think it's her beautiful face and attitude that's keeping her in the game. Contrary to what Paula said to Syesha that "you're becoming the dark horse" (what in the world does she mean?), Kristy actually seems to be the dark horse. She doesn't have the best vocals, but she does well in the country genre.
Brooke is starting to annoy me too. Her guitar-playing is so awkward. I think she's feeling the pressure and she tends to rush the song. The accompaniment just seemed off that night.
David Cook, though a little too arrogant for me, has very good potential.
Ramielle...welp, somebody has to go :-<
So sorry to hear about Elliot's mom. I rebuke BC!
Can't wait to see next week's show!!!! Night everyone -- talk to you next week!
Aurora
-
Aurora, I caught Paula's comment, too! I was embarrassed for her-she must have had a big giant valium prior to the show....
-
I know, whoops. I wonder what kind of drugs she takes. My goodness, they should turn off her microphone after one sentence hehe. She just rambles on and on. I know she means well and doesn't want to hurt anybody's feelings. But, the producer should just give her a script so she'll say sensible things. Remember when she was defending Michael Johns, saying that the microphone behind his ear is hard to get used to or something? And it turned out Michael was not wearing one? Poor Paula :-<
Aurora
-
personally, I kinda liked ramiele--she had quite a voice for someone so small!!!! I was hoping Jason would go home--he's very cute, but he doesn't have a strong voice . Brooke is definitely annoying me big time--as much as I like her singing, I don't know how much longer I can stand her antics! I think the next 3 to go will be Jason, Kristy, and Brooke--not necessarily in that order. I liked Syesha and thought she did an awesome job with the Whitney song. I think she'll be in the top 5. (along with Carly, David C, David A, and Michael).
-
Aurora, I love the verse you quote in your tag line.
I like Ramiele-I think she has a big voice, too. She just never would really use it in her songs! -
Thanks whoops! I'm healed (cancer-free), by God's grace!!!
Yea, I voted for Ramiele many times :-< Had she picked the right songs, she would still be there.
We'll see who sings the best tonight!!!
Aurora
-
It cracks me up when Simon tries to shut Paula up. I love carly's voice but there is something about Jason I really like. He is soothing.
-
Did you guys see that it's 3 nights this week? Tonight is the singing, tomorrow night "AI Gives Back", and Thursday is the elimination night.
I wonder how tall Ramielle is. She was a head shorter than Ryan S, and he's very short.
I predict Kristy is out this week, Jason next, then Carly. But that won't hold true if Carly keeps wearing sleeves and being friendly!
sally
-
Sally, thanks for the heads up about 3 nights this week.
-
loved David A tonight and loved Jason's over the rainbow. What did you guys think?
-
I actually thought they were ALL good, despite some of the song choices, but I think Syesha is going. Jason's rendition of Rainbow was fabulous - but I just adore that song - can you tell???

Valerie
-
I thought Jason, Kristy and Syesha all stepped it up tonight! Now I'm thinking Brooke or Carly may go home this week. Brooke is getting very annoying with her "puppy dog" sad looks in front of the judges, and Carly is so intense, she's just plain scary at times!
-
Hello everyone,
Spar I agree with you, I loved David A's song tonight his voice was so smooth and the song seemed so easy for him. Really really nice..
I think Jason was AWESOME I just love that version of Somewhere over the Rainbow ( the hawaiian guy that sang that song was terrific) Nice to see Jason pick it up this week, I'm always cheering for him.
Carly was also very good, but she did seem alittle angry with the song. I was really hoping she would belt it out this week, I know she can do it..
Brooke also sounded great, but too much like Carole King, she should have changed it up a bit . She is really getting to be annoying, I really like her but I can see why everyone else finds her annoying.
David Cook was way off tonight, I think they were kind to him, I think he mumbled the entire song, just didn't like it at all. BUT he will be fine with the last two performances, he deserves an off week.
Syesha was just okay, she has such a pretty voice but doesn't use it..
Kristy well what can you say, she had a good week for a change, and she looked great BUT she still doesn't hold a candle to the others..
Ohhhh Micheal ....he was terrible ...I think after tonight he will be going home...He screamed the entire song..I think he butchered Aerosmith.
they were very kind to him. All the judges seemed to be in a good mood tonight.I know some of you really like him, but this was not his week..
So I think it should be Kristy from prior weeks, BUT could be Micheal..Hope its not Syesha yet, she is still better than these two.
Just my opinion, how about everyone else????? Who heard that no one was getting voted off this week????
Oh and Paula's word for the night----Well defined, definative, definative sound , grrrrrrrr she drives me crazy, but at least she had her meds straight tonight... Hugs talk to you after Thursdays show.. KLYnn
-
It's on now. I didn't care for David Cook's song, Carly hasn't found her niche/song yet, Jason did great, Kristy will end up with a record contract, haven't seen David A yet, and I agree that Paula seemed to be able to put two coherent words together tonight.
-
Here's my take on tonight:
Michael Johns: he was okay but not great.
Syesha: Great potential, but she doesn't have any individuality
David Cook: WHAT was that? I just didn't get it at all (and I LOVE this guy!)
Jason Castro: OH MY GOD! I was crying after his performance. What an incredible song choice!
Kristy Lee Cook: This girl has gotten better every week. LOVED her!!
Carly Smithson: She looked pissed off and scary, but she can really sing--hit a few sour notes, though.
Brooke White: What a beautiful soul, just really sweet. Didn't love this song, though.
David Archuleta: Love this boy, but this was NOT my fav song. At this point, I have him in 2nd place behind D. Cook (although D. Cook had an off week)
So, I am still going with David A, David C. and Karly in the final three, although possibly Michael Johns could join them. I do agree that Kristy could end up with a VERY lucrative record deal. Nashville would be quite kind to her!
Happy Idoling everyone!
Anne -
This show stirred up the pot!!
The bottom dwellers from previous weeks--Kristy, Syesha, and Jason--all sounded great! But the ones who were safe at the top last week--David C, Michael, and Brooke--weren't flawless. David A still looks like a winner to me. Carly has the vocals, but she lacks the charisma to win.
KLynn, tomorrow is the Am Idol Gives Back show, and the elimination show is Thursday.

Okay, I w/ be lazy today... LOL... Anne I am using your summary as it expresses my own opinions. Thanks.
"Michael Johns: he was okay but not great.
Syesha: Great potential, but she doesn't have any individuality
David Cook: WHAT was that? I just didn't get it at all (and I LOVE this guy!)
Jason Castro: OH MY GOD! I was crying after his performance. What an incredible song choice! NOTE: SIMPLE, DOWN TO EARTH, NON PRETENTIOUS... HAD ME SOBBING... JUST TO PROVE THAT YOU NEVER HAVE TO OVER SING A SONG TO DEMONSTRATE THAT YOU CAN SING AND TOUCH SOMEONE'S HEART AND SOUL.Kristy Lee Cook: This girl has gotten better every week.
Cook had an off week)".Going home (my opinion): Syesha.
-
He-he! I could not resist! Pump your speakers up!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Thank you for the link! I LOVED that song. He did such a good job....made me cry too
Deb C
-
Oh Jason did such a great job...and I think he is cute and I love his hair!!
