SUE, LOVE, NO, NO, NO you do NOT HAVE IBC. It does not act that way, it starts with a little rash, weeks go by, then maybe tiny pimples, weeks go by, and you get it. This hot breast and achy bones are NOT IBC. You would be the only woman on planet earth with two different cancers in 9 months! NOT GONNA HAPPEN. You are completely worn out, your body is just as worn out, keep up with the vitamins, as you can see, vitamins are not a quick magic bullet, but will slooowly pull your body out of this thing.
Still, keep going back to the clinic, I know you hate to go, and I know you don't want to take the time, but you have to keep yelling at them or they won't help you. DO NOT go near the chemo thread, you are forbidden, or the met thread. You will just scare yourself silly. Not a lot of people there with GOOD NEWS. And you will get better, honey, I am so sorry this has taken so long, but you are very small, (I can see that) and the chemo was extra strong, and it is just taking a while to get out of your body. I would seriously consider acupuncture. Find a school, they do it for almost nothing, that's where Walt goes, can't hurt, might help. They also, at least over here, do massages for very little money. You just have to carve out a little time for yourself.
We love you, Sue, and will not leave you, we will be here until you do a bungee jump!
Hugs, and kisses, Shirlann

Okay world traveler Shirlann. It's time for a jaunt to the UK, don't you think?
-
Girls, we have a very serious problem, not too worried about the other posts, but "just diagnosed", and Worried, and some of the other first ones the newbies see are being attacked. Can everyone get on the sites, go to the last "legitimate" post and just write "bump" in the reply and we will try to beat these people back.
This is very serious, Shirlann
-
Wow, Shirlann. There are hundreds. I don't think we can help much. I hope the mods are on the ball. Why, oh why, would some idiot attack this board. I can understand hating cancer, but hating those dealing with it? Sick, sick, sick.
-
Well, just pick one site, then keep going "next", till you get to a legitimate post, hit "reply", and just write "bump". Then do it over and over. That moves that legitimate post to the top. It will at least help the newbies and the how do I get through treatment.
Hugs, Shirl

WHEW! Crisis seems to be averted. Retire to Def-con 3 Alert. Somehow the moderaters got rid of this scum. I can't imagine. Aw well, summer time and the kiddies are bored!
Love you all, Shirl

(((((((((((((((((((Sue))))))))))))))))))) I just wanted to send you my love. How I wish one of us could be there with you to help you through this time. For the time being, just check in here for lots of love. You don't have to type anything - just come and read.
Shirlann is so right - you are a slender little thing and they gave you such massive amounts of chemo - no wonder your bones ache. I'm so glad the antibiotics have made your sore breast a little better - that is a good sign.
((((((((((((((((((((Ulla)))))))))))))))))))) - We haven't heard from you for a while - big hugs and love to you too - I hope you are feeling better.
Shirlann - I just heard the news about the earthquake too - hope it didn't shake you up too much. I'm so glad nobody was injured.
Karen - I forgot to comment on the lion video. I loved it! It featured on tv here just last week. What a beautiful big kitty!
Love to all you wonderful people,
Jane xxx

Sue, we don't always get to choose what comes our way, but we do get to choose how we react to it. Asking for support and cuddles is a very good way. Worrying...not so great, but understandable. Eating comfort food is ok. Head for your comfort, whatever it be.
This is overdone but so true:
I love you, Sue, and am here for you always,
Judie

Great idea Jane...just come and read. You know what would be great? Shirlann gave me the idea with her request. Those who come and read but are not able to post for whatever reason could just type "bump" in the reply and we would know they have been here but don't want to "talk".

Sue....I love you sweetie!! Please don't worry....like Judie said...my mantra..."it is for shit". I wish I could sit there with you on your sofa, drink a cold beer and just make you laugh, and forget all of your worries!! You are worn out. You had so many tx's and then you worked yourself crazy through all of it!! Your body needs time to bounce back...more than 6 weeks.
Thank you Judie for your inspirational kind words to our Sue!! You are such a dear, and have such a way with words!
I love all of you ladies..and everytime I come here...it reminds me of how special you all are to me. We have a very special bond!!
I had a long day...took the day off, because Olivia had 2 auditions for 2 different commercials. One was out of state in PA. So lots of driving. Hopefully it will pay off.
My sweet Dennis is still out of town...he is in NYC till Thursday nt. I will be working Thursday till 7:30, so I am going to stay and wait for his flight to come in around 8:30 and greet him with a big hug and a kiss. Ladies..the man has swept me. He is by far the kindest man I have ever met! Gosh...like I said before...pinch me!!
I am going to lay down and rest..very tired.
Sue...hugs to you, and my back is ready to carry you my dear at any time! I would be honored! Ulla....I hate that you are still waiting...but we will be here to celebrate with you, your good news!
xoxo

Sue and Ulla!
It is good to see both of you. Please try to relax as much as you can. Eat some good food and just listen to music or watch your favorite movie.
I wish I could be there for both of you and give you both hugs and take care of you.
I think of you all every day.
Hugs!

Hi Judie, I think that is Wales language? I hope Sue can read it, it is so unique.
Oh Ulla, it is good to see you, honey, hope and pray for good news, honey.
Our hacker is back, just have to wait for the moderators to get rid of them.
I worry about the newbies. They must think this is strange.
Hi Wren, good to see you.
Jane, we felt the earthquake, but it is no big deal. Not that things can't happen, but San Diego sits out on a knob, with the San Andreas Fault, that goes through San Francisco and LA, running about 120 miles behind us through the desert. We have never had a severe earthquake here, but frequently get shakes. I was in the grocery store, years and years ago, and the whole store, shelves, food everything, just moved from side to side. It was so unbelievable to think about the power behind these things.
Lisa, I am so happy for you, Dennis sounds like a keeper.
Fumi? Are you feeling better? I still think Shingles. I hope not, since there is a vaccine now.
Olivia, is gonna be a STAR!!! I can feel it. So much fun for mom and all.
Ae & UB, hope all is well.
Love you all, Shirlann

I was going to post here tonight but I've got no energy left. Was trying to bump all the legitimate threads when those a$$wipers were ruining our boards but while I bumped just one, they would be starting yet another 100 new threads so I had to give up. Spent half an hour just to figure out it was a waste of time. *sigh*
Will be back tomorrow when I get some energy back. In the meanwhile, you have a great Wednesday.

Hi Sisters xxx
Hope you are all having a good day...I have a day off tmw xxx
I am going to do some reading on bone mets .... surely I dont have this...all my long bones ache...surely I dont have b/c in the other breast.... OH GOODNESS... WHY !!!!
I am fed up of it xxx
ps I LOVE YOU XXX
-
Fumi, I figured the spammers out when they posted a thread after I bumped one that said 'why don't you give up bumping, we only create 100 more when you bump', and that was about 20 minutes after the attack started.
Sue, I know that once you are dx with cancer, any aches or pains makes you think your cancer has spread. But remember dear sister, that they threw the proverbial chemo kitchen sink at your cancer. You are just having side effects of the chemo. it can cause an ache in the bones while the marrow recovers from the chemo.
Love Sheila

Sheila xxx
I know.... I just know it is chemo related it has to be.... I am going to take Shirlanns vitamins...and think about taking some time off work . My bones dont ache as much once I have been up and about.... if it was serious they would hurt consistently.
I am worried bout my other breast...but once again this could be muscle and soft tissue pain...it is taking a lot of stamina each day.... I also have a toothache to die for.... which will cost a small fortune...
STUPID BOOTFACE !!!!!!!!!
-
Why would anyone want to spam such a website...it is nauseating !!
-
To answer your question Sue, that's because they've got way too much time on their hands, and teeny tiny d*cks in their pants.
-
I'm so happy that you both posted, Sue and Ulla! I'm sorry though that you're both having such a hard time. Sue, please don't do too much reading about IBC or bone mets. You're going to scare yourself silly, and I'm sure your issues are just related to your body recovering from the chemo. Ulla, the waiting is enough to drive you crazy, isn't it? I'm sure you would have heard something by now if you truly had something to worry about.
Ugh! Those spammers/hackers (whatever the heck they are) are really starting to tick me off! What cruel, heartless people they must be to mess with cancer victims/survivors. Horrible excuses for human beings is what they are!
Better run for now. Rusty has been unusually destructive this morning. I'd better check to make sure he's staying out of my flower bed.
Love and hugs to you all!
Karen

That's funny, Fumi! They must be very angry to be so mean. I guess I'd be angry if I had a small d*ck. LOL!!!!!!! Jerks.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL @ Fumi.... HAHAHAHAHAHA ....XXX
Hi Karen

Hi all...
Just returned from the dentist and had the root from the tooth that broke off extracted. I'm going to take some serious pain meds and hit the bed before it hits. My blessed dentist said he wasn't going to "ding" me for this since it wasn't a whole tooth. He knows my situation and is an exceptionally caring human being.
Yes, that's Welsh, Shirlann. I love the sound of the language, especially in songs.
Fumi, love your assessment of the situation. Rest up, now, and fill us in on your life later.
LOL Karen! You hadn't said a word about Rusty's destructo mode, which all puppies have. Hide all the shoes, straps, bags, etc. It's fun to enjoy a puppy from afar...
As I always say about puppies and babies...god makes them so cute because otherwise they would never survive to adulthood.
Wren, how's the healing going? Are you back to fighting condition?
Sue, research bone cancer if it makes you feel better. Otherwise go make a Banofee pie for the boys and see if you can eat more than they can. I've got to make one. I've got everything but the condensed milk and bananas. Maybe I'll go to the store when I wake up if the mouth isn't still painful. Do you know Welsh, Sue?
Goodnight all...
Judie
-
Judie, sorry about the tooth problem. hope you feel better soon and the pain meds kick in.
Fumi I also love your assessment but they keep hitting, the last time it was only on for about 5 minutes before the admin got it down. by my count they have attacked 5 times today.
Karen, When we got Penelope, I specifically said that I didn't want a puppy for that reason as well as house training it. But they are fun to watch their antics.
Sheila
-
He's hysterical, Sheila. Especially with our old girl, Tinker. She growls and snaps at him, and he just sits there and barks and barks. Then he goes into pouncing mode. The other night, her tail was sticking out from under her blankie and he was swatting and barking at it. We've laughed more in the past five days than we have in months. Cleaning up after him is exhausting though. I keep reminding myself that it's just temporary.
Judie, I've told Rusty and Chase both that they're lucky they're so cute. If they weren't, I'd have to wring their necks! LOL!!
Hugs,
Karen
-
Well said Fumi! What sad cases those spammers are! I hope you are feeling better?
Judie - hope you were able to get a good, pain-free sleep. When I was in my early 20s I had root canal therapy. The sadistic, incompetent dentist told me there was no point in giving anaesthesia as it wouldn't work! So I had several sessions of pure agony! It's a wonder that I didn't develop a strong phobia of dentists - luckily I have had gentle ones since then.
Karen - Rusty sounds wicked and gorgeous! The naughty puppy stage will pass - they are so funny though and it's great to hear that you are all laughing so much.
Sue - so glad you are having a day off. Judie's suggestion of making Bonofee Pie sure beats reading up on mets and scaring yourself silly. Please be gently with yourself. xx
Ulla - have you heard anything yet? Usually, no news is good news. They probably put your results at the bottom of the pile because they considered them unimportant. I do hope they let you know soon! They don't understand the worry you are having. xx
Shirlann - it is amazing to think of all that power under the earth's crust - and that's all it is - a skin on the earth. We had a big earthquake in Newcastle (NSW) about 20 years ago, killing 13 people and injuring more than 160. I think it was 5.6.
Love to you all - and Wren, Lisa, Sheila, Melody, Jule, Kaloni, Suebee, AnnNYC, AE & UB, Ann in Colarado, Nancy and everyone else.
Jane xxx

Judie - I love the Welsh language too. My grandmother (mother's mother) spoke only Welsh until she was about 6 and then leaned English. I would love to learn it. When I was in Wales in the mid 1980s, most people spoke Welsh instead of English. It was wonderful to hear it.
-
Well, you know me, I PM'd the jerk(s) and tapped 200 "asshole" posts on their e-mails. I probably will get kicked off my server. I was so MAD. I worry about the new women, when they see such junk. Next time, I will do it again. I don't care if they do get my e-mail addy.
Oh Karen, when Dusty was a puppy, we were just completely ruined. He broke so many things, and was a holy terror. Finally, Walt said, "I think he's getting better". I said, "No, honey, there is nothing left to break". But he was funny. Getting Cleo has been even funnier. They play together and wrestle, sometimes Dusty gets a little rough, and she pulls out her claws, and that ends that.
Sue, you do not have bone mets, and besides, you are FORBIDDEN, by cyber-mum from looking at any met sites! I will come over there and make you mind! Stay off those posts, you do not have bone mets.
Have you tried Aleve? It is helpful a lot of times when other things don't work.
I love you all, hugs, Shirlann
