I love you too !

Ever been listening when the very first bird awakens and begins his morning songs? I was this morning. I've often been awake to realize that the birds have begun waking and the first singers perform for the lazier among us that still sleep. But this morning, I heard the very earliest of the early birds. He sang a couple of warm up notes and then began. Phrase after phrase, he fashioned his songs anew.
But what amazes me even more is that to my eyes, darkness is still all around. What alarm clock awakened that bird? No doubt he was perched in a tall tree on the nearby hill and saw the first glimpse of the dawning light to the east. His eyes saw what mine could not and he was there to pass it on ... calling out that there is light ... and that night would soon end. I have been in that darkness and have seen that light and now I am here to pass it on.
When you see nothing but the darkness of cancer all around you, there really is the light of hope dawning just over the horizon. It is hard to see just yet but it is there. Just keep your eyes open and be patient. Don't listen to those that still sleep when they say there is no hope. There is always hope.

Everybody is a star
I can feel it when you shine on me
I love you for who you are
Not the one you feel you need to be
Ever catch a falling star
Ain't no stopping 'til it's in the ground
Everybody is a star
One big circle going round and round ~~sly stone

Winds blow through the forests of the world
and we smell love.
Ocean tides blanket the earth
and we taste love.
Stars and galaxies swing through the sky
and love is ours.
A small bird lights in your garden and calls.
The quiet voice of love surrounds us all.
Love lifts us, binds us, moves us, teaches us, heals us.
And shakes us...

Quote:
I WILL STAND UP!!! debbyfive
If you stand up and be counted, from time to time you may get yourself knocked down. But remember this: A man flattened by an opponent can get up again. A man flattened by conformity stays down for good.
~ Thomas J. Watson ~ -
Face your deficiencies and acknowledge them;
but do not let them master you. Let them teach
you patience, sweetness, insight. When we
do the best we can, we never know what miracle
is wrought in our life, or in the life of another.
~Helen Keller

People often say that
'beauty is in the eye of the beholder
and I say
that the most liberating thing
about beauty is realizing
that you are the beholder
This empowers us to find beauty
in places
where others have not dared to look
including inside ourselves.
- Salma Hayek

Today I will look for beauty and know that I will find it because it is there.

"There is guidance
for each of us
and by lowly listening,
we shall hear the right word
Certainly there is a right
for you that needs no choice
on your part
Place yourself in the middle
of the stream of power
and wisdom which flows into your life
Then, without effort,
you are impelled to truth and to perfect contentment."
(Ralph Waldo Emerson)

People are like stars~~
we all have our own special light
that shines from within
Sometimes we find our light
to be dim and we struggle to shine~~
but that is when we need the light
shed from the other stars
to help us light our path once again
A true light that comes from within
from our divine Maker is
so brilliant that it penetrates
into the souls of the other
stars onto which it shines,
leaving it's impression for eternity
Are you shining for someone today? - author unknown

Enjoying the roses that are blooming
Outside our windows today."

Daily Quote*Thought
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what
we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into
acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It
can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home,
a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of
our past, brings peace for today, and creates a
vision for tomorrow.
~*~ Melody Beattie

by anything external,
the pain is not due to the thing itself
but to
your own estimate of it

Why have I seen
So little of myself
In a sunset less golden?
Will, Drive, Survival,
Can compete with true tranquility....
Now is the beginning of a newness
The competition has ceased
I am able to feel, see, touch,
My inner self
This moment, this day,
Marks my rebirth
Into a world without cancer
I will dance and sing with abandon
I wrote this early this morning after grieving the loss of another breast last friday..... -
