((((Pam)))), sometimes trouble just seems to keep knocking at the door...I hope that it soon tires of knocking at yours.

Anna, I love your "practices". Something we can all practice.

    I followed my friend Odalys.

I probably won't be able to post tomorrow, but I will try to practice being generous.

Me too Anna..that's the one I'm challenged by the most right now...fear of falling, a fear of moving forward too fast...and I keep saying, baby steps...one baby step at a time...

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding. Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain. And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy. And you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields. And you would watch with serenity
through the winters of your grief.
    Kahlil Gibran

I, too, will practice feeling my "growing pains" today. In that way I will practice being strong.

Life is fragile. Handle with prayer.

Yes, if everyone could take the time to feel the comfort of prayer there would be only peace in the world.

Sherry, I could look at your beautiful picture all day long! If Nature holds such beauty, and it is so easily recognized, why then is it so difficult for us to see that beauty in our fellow humans?

I want to practice seeing that beauty in all the people I encounter today.

I agree with you completely Anna. You've spoken very, very wise words. It fills my heart with sadness when finger pointing starts, when lecturing begins. We have breast cancer. We have families that love us and who we love. We have dear friends. We have life we want to live. I for one do not like coming here and "being told off" by anyone. That is not supportive at all. And prayer? Prayer takes me far and in my heart I always wish to think the best of everyone. I've been told I'm naive. I'd rather be naive. Seeing the beauty in everyone, finding the joy in the day ~ wonderful thoughts.

Sherry, you have changed your name to Gone. I accept your need to go, but I hope you will eventually come back. I am teaching myself not to go to certain places on these boards, the ones that can put real hurt into your day, but to come only where I truly feel the support and love I crave and want to share with women who are going through the same experience I am. I have loved reading your posts, and I always took a peek when I saw one from Designing Diva. I will look for you and in the meanwhile, I send you loving hopes for healing hurt feelings. Keep finding the joy in the day, and when you feel like sharing your special beauty with us once again, please come back. I for one love naive.

What a nice way to be reminded of our friend.

I will practice cherishing the weeds today. I will look for the good in them and love them whether I can see their beauty or not.
