A MORNING PRAYER-By E. Hardt

Now I wake up from the night
And thank the Lord for morning light.
He'll be with me through the day,
In my work and in my play,
In the sunshine, in the rain,
In His presence I remain.
AMEN.

Praying that God will fill your day with His own peace and the assurance of a quick recovery. My prayers go out to you all on breastcancer.org.

A prayer for those with cancer

Bless, O God,
all who struggle with cancer.
Empower them with hope
for each and every day.
Provide them with loving
and tender care, laughter,
and the support of love.
Grant them
courage when they are afraid,
comfort when they are in pain,
and your blessing
when all else seems hopeless,
that in their fight with illness
they may continue to praise you
and glorify your name.
Amen.

Many of our sisters are so very ill and are questioning their faith,for all of you I have this prayer:

"Help my unbelief"
When I'm in pain, I forget that you care about me.
I forget that you have helped me through my trials.
I forget that you hold me in your arms to keep me safe.
I forget that you are feeling my pain with me.
I forget that you love me,
I forget that I am important to you.
Show me your presence - let me feel your enveloping love.
Heal my hurting soul.

Dear Lord thank you for guiding me to this board and to the true heroes in my life.I have learned so much here,much about life's ups and downs,strength,courage,love ,healing,laughter and friendship.God bless all of you here on the board.

Today I pray for all my sisters and brothers,world wide.I pray for rest for your tired bodies,laughter,quiet times, a simple hug from someone you love and happiness . "The thirst after happiness is never extinguished in the hearts of men and women".Have a blessed day and remember we are the heroes of our own story .

Special prayers go out to anyone having surgery,chemo,tests,waiting for test results,newly diagnosed,having a rough day,and feeling just down and out.I would like to invite any person new to our community looking for specials prayers for yourself, family or friends to lets us know, please, we would be only too happy to help."I can't emphasis this enough" we are a community in which we share our thoughts and feelings please feel free to post your own prayers in your own words,we would love to hear from all of you.

God of all grace and power . Behold, visit and relieve these thy servants. Look upon them with the eyes of thy mercy , give them comfort and sure confidence in thee, defend them in all danger and keep them in perpetual peace and safety; through Jesus Christ our Lord . Amen

O Lord, grant me to greet the coming day in peace, help me in all things to rely upon your holy will. In every hour of the day reveal your will to me. Bless my dealings with all who surround me. Teach me to treat all that comes to me throughout the day with peace of soul and with firm conviction that your will governs all. In all my deeds and words, guide my thoughts and feelings. In unforeseen events, let me not forget that all are sent by you. Teach me to act firmly and wisely, without embittering and embarrassing others. Give me strength to bear the fatigue of the coming day with all that it shall bring. Direct my will, teach me to pray. And you, yourself, pray in me. Amen

Hey Boop: Thanks for the lovely prayers this morning.



This prayer is for NYJanet's sister-in-law,Leslie, who had her third surgery in Miami yesterday for ovarian cancer,she is in intensive care. I know all you wonderful ladies believe in the power of prayer so lets get our prayer chain going.My prayers especially for her.



Lord Jesus, You know how NYJanet's sister-in-law,Leslie, feels today, her secret fears and pains. I pray for healing in whatever way You know will help her. I trust in Your power. You proclaimed God's reign by curing the sick, comforting and strengthening those who were sad, and giving new freedom to all who accepted You. Guide also, those who help in Your healing work: doctors, nurses, chaplains, and all who extend Your care. Together we do the work of Your Father. We pray in Your Spirit, Lord Jesus. Amen.



O Father of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in time of need: We humbly beseech thee to behold, visit and relieve thy sick servant for whom our prayers are desired. Look upon her with the eyes of thy mercy; comfort her with a sense of thy goodness; preserve her from the temptations of the enemy; and give her patience under her affliction.In thy good time, restore her to health, and enable her to lead the residue of her life in thy fear, and to thy glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

from afar sweeps in. In her hands are her gifts,the gifts of prayer and far-seeing moments,the gift of mornings and evenings, the gift of spring and summer , the gift of autumn and winter. She must have searched the heavens for gifts so rare .

My Prayer List



I used to carry my prayer list,

around in my aging brain,

Until one day I became aware,

I was leaving off some names,

They were in my heart all right,

but my mind had grown forgetful,

I could not remember everone,

and I truly was regretful.



So one day I just sat down

and picked up a pen and a pad,

And listed everyone I knew,

who needed prayers so bad.

My list grew and grew and grew,

I did not know where to stop,

There were some I hardly knew at all,

that made it to the top.



Well, I had to draw the line somewhere,

to give equal opportunity,

But since God knew each degree of need,

I'd let Him set priority.

What's neat about this list is this,

I don't forget a soul,

And if I can't rattle off each name,

at least I have this sheet to hold.



I can grasp it in my pudgy fist,

it is solid, and it's tangible,

And I think God can read the names,

though they may not all be legible.

I keep it folded in my Bible,

it is safe there and secure,

It gets around-the-clock attention,

from the good Lord, I feel sure.



Then when I do my Bible reading,

which I conclude each day with prayer,

I take my list within my hand,

and I raise it in the air.

And I say, "Dear lord,

please bless this whold long list of names,

And when you're done with that,

please bless each name again."



You may think I am peculiar, and,

of course, you could be right,

But I know where I'm coming from,

and that God understands my plight...

I get hung up on
getting everything completed that I forget
what is really important.

I kneel to pray and the phone rings.

that everyone else needs.
People don't have any
tolerance. But You, Lord
You're so patient.

God what am I doing?
Help me to get my
priorities straight.

I know You don't want
me to be unkind, but I can
let the answering
machine take my calls.

Help me to remember that
I will never be able to get
everything accomplished
at one time. Heal me of this workaholic drive.
Bathe everything I do
in the light of eternity and
bestow insight upon me so that
I may see and understand.

Heavenly Father, I call on you right now in a special way.
It is through your power that I was created.
Every breath I take,
every morning I wake,
and every moment of every hour,
I live under your power.
Father, I ask you now to touch me with that same power.
For if you created me from nothing,
you can certainly recreate me.
Fill me with the healing power of your spirit.
Cast out anything that should not be in me.
Mend what is broken.
Root out any unproductive cells.
Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas.
Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.
Let warmth of your healing love pass through my body
to make new any unhealthy areas
so that my body will function the way you created it to function.
And Father, restore me to full health
in mind and body so that I may serve you the rest of my life.

that God will heal your pain
to make you feel alive once more
and give you hope again.

I prayed for your endurance
to withstand the trial you face
and I asked that God would keep you
in His presence by His Grace.

Heavenly Father, I call on you right now in a special way.
It is through your power that I was created.
Every breath I take,
every morning I wake,
and every moment of every hour,
I live under your power.
Father, I ask you now to touch me with that same power.
For if you created me from nothing,

My Prayer For Today

Lord, as I come before you today and lift my voice to thee; I come in praise and thanksgiving for all of the blessings you have given to me!

You have heard my prayers of supplication for all of those who are in need; I know the answers will come in due season if in you I trust and in your word I heed!

Lord, fill me with your love and compassion for those who are lost and have gone astray; please open their eyes and help them to see it is you that they need in their hearts today!

Lord, there are those who are ill and are suffering, whose lives are filled with pain and despair; they need to feel your healing touch and to know that for them, their cries you will hear!

We claim these promise we find in your work, and know that our for our loved ones, your've heard' your word never changes but remains the same, we give you the glory and praise your seet name! Thank you Jesus, Amen.
