Father, we thank thee for the night,
And for the pleasant morning light.
For rest and food and loving care,
And all that makes the day so fair.
Help us to do the thing we should,
To be to others kind and good,
In all we do, in all we say,
To grow more loving every day.

I have no idea where I am going,
I do not see the road ahead of me.
I cannot know for certain where it will end.
Nor do I really know my self,
and the fact that I think I am following your will
does not mean I am actually doing so.

I call on you right now in a special way. It is through your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live
under your power.

Father, I ask you now to touch me with that same power. For if you created me from nothing, you can certainly recreate me. Fill me with the healing power of your spirit.
Cast out anything that should not be in me. Mend what
is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open any
blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas.
Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.

Let the warmth of your healing love pass through my body
to make new any unhealthy areas so that my body will
function the way you created it to function.

And Father, restore me to full health in mind and body so
that I may serve you the rest of my life.

I was so weary,
so tired of the fight.
I hadn't any strength left,
I had no relief in sight.

The pain was to much to endure.
Then I realized Jesus was there
and in His hands, He held the cure.

At my lowest valley
He met me there,
so that through the darkness
He could show me He cares.

He holds my hand
and guides me along.
He gives me the strength
to keep me strong.

He puts a rainbow at the end
of the tunnel just in sight
so that through the dark shadows

My heart and soul soared as I searched this site. I truely rejoiced that God guided me here and I praise him and that all of you who are contributing. I, too, will join in the morning prayer... a little time delayed here on the west coast but none the less. I have savored each and every word that I read here. There is no doubt in my mind that God's hand is amoung those who come to read, share and pray.

There has been a calmness surrounding my dx that fills me daily and I know that God is with me and is with you. As sad as I am about what will be happening in the next weeks, months, etc, I firmly beleive that God is working in my life and that there will be good coming from this event. God is in control and I will praise him daily for all the blessings he has given me.

My prayer is for all who are suffering from pain, depressing, and loss. Pray that surgeons, doctors and nurses are guided by God in each and everything they do to administer to those under their care. Pary that families are strengthened through these events and are brought closer as they rest in God's promises.

Thank you for a beautiful day, family and friends. And in the days ahead for all the people here.

Thank you Lord Jesus and in his Holy Name we rejoice.
