Howdy all. Welcome to all the new faces.

I am going to try and make lunch. I just have to see how the holiday week-end ends up. In-laws in town and kids can change things in a minute.

Merry Christmas to all my old and new dear friends.

Great pic!  Sorry I missed again.  We went boating - took my neighbor and her Aunt and Uncle who are visiting from Vancouver BC and a bunch of boys.  It was a great day, but so sorry I had to miss lunch with all of you AGAIN!!  Next month???

I do have to say this, since having my reconstruction this past year, I just feel like my BC journey is over (fingers crossed, knock wood, pinch of salt over the shoulder).  While I'm not sure it ever really ends, at least it's been shoved to the back of the closet so I can get on with my life, family, friends, and work, etc....

I really do hope to catch up with everyone and meet the newbies in January.  I'm hoping to take the kids snowboarding for the long weekend (16-18th), but I've got the other weekends open.

Have a great New Years and looking forward to seeing you all soon.

    Love to all,

    Lisa #3

Feels like forever since I have been here or with you wonderful ladies. Work, boys, Holidays all just very busy. I won't make a Saturday because the boys are in basketball now and I am the sole taxi cab driver for them while dh works. Since I probably won't make a Sunday right now then please do what works for the majority.

    Miss you all.

    Hi Ladies,

I'm here enjoying Mission Beach!  Going kayaking in LaJolla Cave tomorrow.  I believe I can get together on 1/31; which is a Sunday.  My granddaughter's birthday party is 1/30.  We are having lots of company this visit; which is wonderful, but has been tying up lots of weekends.  Oh, have you ever tried an evening dinner rather than lunch?  Took a 3rd cousin out to dinner tonight.  He is stationed in Miramar and recently returned from Iraq.  I've never met him before.  He is such a sweetheart.  From the South and has the mannerism to go with it.  If I don't manage to make it to see the lunch bunch, perhaps a few of us can get together during that week?  Love to all, Linda

I've been disappointed with Milton's every time I've been there. Not worth it for the money - $14.95 for a basic Reuben, fries with that will set you back another $3 bucks, and if you want a soda it's another nearly three dollars. Add tax and tip and you've just spent $25.00 on a sandwich.

Apollonia's on Genesee is centrally located. Brahna and I had a delicious meal there from their extensive menu, when it was was just the two of us in November.

Just a thought as an alternative...

Then there's the Chicken Pie Shop for comfort food, right off the 805 freeway in North Park. And the best BBQ in town is at Phil's in the Sports Arena area (simply hang a left at the foot of the I-8 fwy and you're there).

Sure hope to see some new faces ...

Appolonia's sounds like a good spot, Lisa..

I vote for that one..anyone else??

I guess we have tended toward the the 31st and that is

    good with me too...
