I've got 26 squares now! Vickie and Madison, could you please PM me your adresses, please? I'll divide them so that we spread the colors out, if that's okay with you.
Anne -
thanks cheri,I will check it out when I go back that is the only way I will do any knitting.Crocheting is different.Wish I had paid more attention in home Ec on the knitting semester.Probably paying to much attention to boys at that time.what a waste

Vickie and Madison
I mailed you each a package of squares on Saturday. I hope that they make it to you safely.
I have to take a few weeks off from square making because I have 3 friends who are pregnant right now and I want to make them each an afghan. I will be back with more squares in a few weeks!
Thanks again for all of help in coordinating this project! The Afghans are all so beautiful.
Hugs,
Liz -
I've taken a few days away from squares. My mom is trying to teach me how to knit socks. I've got the double pointed needles going, but am waiting for my lesson on "turning the heel". May work on some squares in between. I like the new challenge, though. Should have a package ready for Vickie by the end of this week.
-
Hi all
Vickie and Madison I have a box of 20 squares packed for each of you. I should have them in the mail tommorrow.
Sue -
Woohoo...got beautiful squares from Liz and Shirley today. They are great ladies. As always! Don't worry about the "hanging strings"...I weave them in as I go and it keeps it from unraveling when washed.
Boss is working on EE's address and says he'll have it tomorrow.
I have a good start on the next afghan and it's really gonna be neat...lots of bright springime colors!
You girls are all the very best...every single one of you.
Love and hugs
Vickie -
Madison,
I, too, must apologize for a lack of activity on my part. This is a consequence of working for the Church. A couple times a year things get pretty crazy. I'll get back to knitting as soon as I recover from Easter!
Cherryl -
Ladies...no one has to apologize for "lack of activity"...this isn't a job...it's supposed to be relaxing and fun. We all need a break now and then. The beginning and end of the month are hard for me too as my job is huge during that time and it cuts into my crocheting too!
We have lots of squares...its all ok.
Hugs and love
Vickie -
had my appt this evening with the surgeon...he said the same thing as the oncologist about the node....I didnt have the biopsy today because he said it was too deep in the arm pit to do in his office...he set me up with surgery on Monday at 8 am...he will take the node out, run it through pathology and if anything shows up he will remove the rest right then and there....
Im going to still to my original plan like I did when I was first dx'd....hopefully it will work this time too.....I always went into each appt expecting the worse and each time came out with a little less.....
So since I have another week to stew about things Im back in the game to crochet...I worked on them like crazy over the weekend so have almost 60 squares that I will split and send to 1/2 to each of you...
Jule -
Thanks Denise,I will check when I go back to walmart. We dont have a joanns, but in the next town we do have a hobby lobby.Maybe one of those places should carry them if not I will let you know.
-
Robin...if you don't find a knifty knitter let me know and I will send you one.
Hugs and love
Vickie
Wow Jule...Good luck to you! You are really crocheting!!! -
Cherryl, I agree with Vickie...we do this when we have time...and sometimes family and other activities need to be tended to....
Everyone, thank you (Sue, Sheri, Liz, Anne, everyone..thank you)
Jule, you are on a roll.
Robin, if you need something let Vickie and I know.
I have been working on another afghan...but won't have as much time to work the remainder of this week because my eldest is coming home for a visit....her first since December....
Thanks, Madison -
Jule - I'm sorry your dealing with this. Please come for support and let us know how things are. Hugs to you.
Madison - Have lots of fun with DD
Sue -
I wanted to get the yarn that you ladies sent me worked up before the biopsy, so worked like crazy on the squares over the weekend...I have 3 skeins left so will work them up this week and get them all mailed off for the two of you...
Thank you for all your warm thoughts.
Jule -

I hope it turns out.I have never tried this before. -

Robin,
So glad you are enjoying your afghan! Remember my offer to send you a knifty knitter if you can't find one. I'd be glad to do it!
Hugs,
Denise -
Deb,
I ordered the book you were talking about and received it today. I want to say thanks for the info, but all I've done is peeked at it, so I'll hold my "thanks" till I see if I can understand it!! LOL, it looks interesting! -
Denise,I will be going to walmart friday and will check and see if they have one if not i will let you know so you can send me out one.I would like to go to hobby lobby that day but dont want to get to far away from home until jasmine delivers.
I cant wait to get started on a nifty knitter. If I could find a simple beginners guide i would try it with needles.Maybe i might just be brave soon. -
Arent they just the greatest Susan? Nice pup dog. Hes a cutie.
Amy -
Thanks Amy.I found out last night during the thunderstorm he is afraid of storms. He got behind the couch whinning and wouldnt come out all night. So I gave up and went to bed.
I am teaching him to sleep at the bottom of the bed on the floor.I made him a nice little doggie bed just for him.I made it out of fleece so it is nice and soft.He wont get much bigger than he is now.
Sorry didnt mean to ramble on so. -
Robin-
I trained my little dog to not be afraid of storms
by giving her a special yummy treat and playing with
her every time it started to storm. It worked great
but she thought she needed to get treats and play
even if it was 3:00 in the morning when it started
storming...
Hugs
Debc -
Why is this page so pickin big? Cheri..............are you there? You need to order the book that Deb told us about. It is guaranteed to Drive You Crazy (crazier!). Lots of different stitches in it, haven't figured one out yet but they look pretty! Fancy names, too!! Weez gonna be an educated bunch of Knifty Knitters!!
Watch out, I am gonna learn a new stitch this weekend come hell or high water!! (can I say that on air?)
Hugs,
Denise -
Susan you can never ramble on too much about animals to me. Hes a cutie though.
Amy -
When you have a page that you know is big from a photo
just hit return when you are typing at the end of
each line when it gets as long as you want it to be.
If you rely on the automatic return feature,
your paragraph will be as long
as the picture abouve it...
Deb C -
Robin your dog it so cute!!!
-
