Thanks to all who posted such nice things about my son. We heard from him yesterday & he's leaving South Africa today and heading for Malawi. I wonder how far away he is from your dauther, Shirley. And, yes, like you with your daughter, I worry all the time but couldn't be happier for the adventures they're experiencing.

Patrice, the "kids" are somewhere in Namibia (last I heard). They back tracked from Cape Town. They needed to get to S. Africa because SIL had something wrong with his knee. It turned out to be "the" African Virus. So, they headed back because they missed things they really wanted to do.

I think they plan to be in Tanzania in September.

You're son is having a blast. Geez, what a wonderful way to educate onself. We'll just dream on. LOL
