TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS

well shoot shoot shoot Elaine. OK I'll see you on Sunday. Don't work to hard.
Denise you crack me up. My time clock gets so screwed up while I'm here. Been up since 4:30 this morning. That is just one big major UGH!!!!!!
My dear family can't understand why I'm in bed by 9pm most nights. -
Ouch! Ouch! Double Ouch!! To those who've had this recon thing done, should I plan on sleeping upright through this entire process? It seems to cause so much pain to get up from a lying position! I need to invest in one of those comfy recliners with push button control! Yeah, I think I'll do that, if only I had a job. lol
I'm catching up from yesterday because my PC is still down. Karl picked my unrepaired PC up from the fix it place (turns out the motherboard fried) and decided to put my hard drive into the old box I have so I'd have all my files. He also reinstalled Windows XP. Something went wrong and he spent hours in his words "accomplishing nothing". Oh well, programming is his thing, not PC repair! He called it a night before he did something he'd regret and will try again today. Back to hopping on his when I can.
Today I have that Nuc Med scan and tonight Audrey has soccer practice. Hopefully it won't rain because she's very psyched. Having a couple of weeks without being in a sport since softball ended has not been kind to her. She has Full House burning her retinas and wants to be Stephanie! That parts cool, I always lked Stephanie!
Cheri - If you get on the boards today know I'm thinking of you dear sister! I'll be in and out today but will look for you on IM when I'm in! I hope you're doing as well as can be today and they are keeping you from feeling any pain. Biggest hugs to you!
Jankay - Thank you girlfriend for thinking of me. I hope to see you back on here tomorrow. Maybe I'll have my own working PC by then too!
Nicki - Thank you, I will take your advice and stretch! Pneumonia with pleuracy, oh my! Don't even give your DH another thought, you need to take care of YOU! I'm glad the other girls put him in the deliverance tent already because he may have suffered more if we got our hands on him. Seriously, I hope you feel better soon. What do they do for that?
Kristen - Hello to you!
Shirley and Marsha - give each other hugs from me to each one of you today! And anyone else who may drop in to join you for lunch!
Peter - What a nice post from you yesterday. And I don't think I've ever seen a better looking cup of sunshine then what you posted this morning! Nice Get Well for the PC pic too! LOL
Denise - My nurse sister likes using those big words in conversation with me. I have to remind her to speak english! Thanks for thinking of me and so glad your Phoebe is back home to recuperate. Will be thinking of you at the Onc today.
MB - Happy Birthday! Hope you enjoyed your big work party today!
Margaret - Happy Boot Camp Day. Oh, I want that other chair!
Marisa - My brother had a friend in jersey who he said looked just like me. I never met her but saw a picture and it was eerie! They say everyone has a twin .. but I already have a real life one! Oh, but we aren't identical though! Hoping all goes well with your friend today.
Boo/Sue - Welcome back from vacation, hope it was nice and relaxing.
Odalys - Yes, I Have been that tired! Thinking of your sister today and sending positive vibes her way. I hope you take a day for yourself as Shokk suggested.
Shokk - That sucks about your daughters camel back! Creepy thieves, they'll get theirs!
Puppy - Hugs to you! You have so much going on and coming up. I hope you can take this time to relax and take care of yourself. Everything else will work out.
Candie - Welcome to you, I've seen you around the boards. You've come to the best place!
Liz - Decorate that bathroom yet? Waiting for pictures! I'm with you...I want to go to the beach too!
Amy - I think we could use more puppy pics to help us all forget our troubles, if only for a second!
BMD - Glad you got your PC back with everything on it!
Robin - glad to hear you have a surgery date and my you sound so excited! Happy to hear you're doing well.
Beth - hope you're doing better. Scary reading about all your problems as I'm undergoing this procedure. I do understand that many things can cause complications though.
Madison - The pain is better, thank you for asking. I think lying flat on my back is a mistake though! I'll let you know if it turns out to be UJO ... the odd thing is, I don't get infections! My twin sister has UTI's all the time but I've rarely had them!
Iris Angel - Thank you for thinking of me from Tiny Tim USA! I hope your day is grand today!
Vickie - Nice having you tuck us in again. Yep, my PC is still down so catching up when I can. I hope you were able to salvage some of that Peanut Butter Cup ice cream!
CherylG - enjoyed your website and viewing the Pinkstock pics on it!
Doris - Thank you, I am feeling better. I'm glad your onc appt went well!
MizSissy - Enjoy your vacation, nice area to do that in!
Pam - Always nice to see you checking back in! I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so tired. I hope the weight can soon be lifted and you feel lighter and more energized soon. Take care of yourself sweet lady.
Hello to Suz, Guz, Deb, Christine, CasinoGirl, Karen, Cherryl, CY, BikerJan, WildJan, Mandy, Brenda, Betty, Elaine, Susan, Marsha, and everyone else from A - Z. No time for a pic today as I'm running late.
Love&Hugs,
Charlene -
Denise we both saw Mazer (or his relatives) in Ischua. That is funny! I told Casino Girl- Hey look there is Mazer! She probably thinks I am crazy, when I know the animals on the side of the road.
Too early for me to be up. I am heading back to my comfy couch. I wanna sleep in my bedroom, maybe it'll have to wait until this weekend.
Let's hear some more "Where were you when you heard the news of Elvis' death?" stories. 30 yrs ago, seems like yesterday! -
Morning all, I'm supposed to be in boot camp but I don't feel like it so am not going. I think I'm convincing myself that I should go in the evenings so I'll see if I can switch next week.
Pam, I hope the weight is lifted from your shoulders soon. Anything we can do to help?
Christine, I was working when I got the call from my then husband. I had seen Elvis once in concert. I guess Elvis' death is one of those life events where you will always remember where you were and what you were doing.
Peter, thanks for that morning cup of coffee. I needed it this morning. So does that mean that you are "retired?" I have sleep issus too. Glad that your brother seems to be on track.
Brenda and Betty, you're meeting tonight - how exciting - have fun.
Nicki, I hope you are feeling better soon.
Denise, good luck at the onc. today - I always get antsy until he tells me I'm good for another four months, I have an appointment next month.
Marsha and Shirley meeting today too! Too bad Elaine can't go.
Elaine, glad the situation worked out with your son's GF. Having two grandkids of my own, remember that she is carrying your grandchild, because when that child is born, you will want to be a part of his/her life.
Shokk, that is so irritating that they stole your daughter's backpack. Is the tropical storm your way?
Charlene, I like your new avatar.
Madison, how's your daughter today?
All A to Z, hope you have a great day.
Margaret -
Brenda thanks for sharing about your little granddaughter, that is so sweet. Grandchildren are gifts from Heaven. My daughter told mine a long time ago, Mom didnt treat me the way she does you; she is trying to get into Heaven now. My oldest grand is 24 and when I visit, he comes in in the morning and gets in bed with me and we cuddle.
Liz, now that the remodeling of bathroom is done, take some time for you and relax. I know you went to Pinkstock but I always need rest after a vacation.
Karen sorry you are having a hard time, hope you get something worked out so you feel better
Odaly, hoping for good news for your sister today and that you guys get the results soon, the waiting is awful.
Christine, I dont remember where I was when Elvis died, but I remember when John and Bobby Kennedy died. You were just a babe then.
Peter, a pension, wonderful .now you will have more time for the circle
Betty, hmmmm was that out of the blue or divine intervention
Mizsissy ..did you write that prayer .loved it
Sherloc, your clock is going to be all messed up when you get home, you havent mentioned hubby, is he missing you
Denise, had my onc appt yesterday, good report
Choca, good timing for this appointment
Charlene, I slept in bed with extra pillows, was more comfortable for me
Happy Birthday MB, sorry I cant make the barbecue
Robin, looking forward to your call and getting to know you better
Vickie, thanks for taking the time to tuck everyone in
Margaret, afraid I dont know what boot camp is
Pam, hope you are feeling better
Suz, I never did thank you for your nice pm my friend now has a broken rib and the onc did stop at 2 chemos .too hard on her. She is still faithful in church, brought a special chair to sit in
Madison, is daughter still improving
And hope everyone has a glorious day -
Hi all!
Nicki please feel better soon - I had pneumonia and it was horrible!
This is you now...
And this you is in a couple of days..
Hi Peter!
I may be going with my friend to her ultrasound today...I'm scared.
Hope everyone feels better soon..I sent an angel holding a dog for Cheri - I hope it makes her smile.
Love Marisa -
Denise...
This is for you - it goes along with your pic of nice "girls"
hehehe
That's what my mom's ps tried to make her...she's tiny!
So she made him take them out and put in nice small ones -
Quick good morning to all!!!
Betty, can't wait to meet you either - A Circle Girl in PERSON - yeah!!!!!!!!!! Once I am on the road, will give you a call - want to get going by noon at least.
Nicki - you OK this morning??? No post this morning - hope you are not worse.
We are missing some of our sisters - hope they are OK.
Cheri - BIG hugs to you. Hear the doctor said your condition was "Life Threatening" - tell me that isn't right!!!
Gotta run - love to all. Have a great day!!!
Brenda -
Morning all. Thank goodness for Percoset or I would not have gotten any sleep at all. Pesky cat kept trying to cuddle but stepped on the left side and I saw stars!
Pam, I think the meds fried my brain yesterday but I thought naming the drain in honor of Elvis was a good one. I was working at a Day Camp the day he died and now that I am more lucid, I realize I got the day wrong. So, was he a Capricorn?
Nicki, feel better soon. Pneumonia is not easy to recover from so take it easy. Some hugs and good wishes for you,
Charlene, the ps said only about 10% of mastectomies and related surgeries get these kind of complications. I may need an expander to get the implant back in so I am glad to have you and the other gals who went through it to lean on. Hugs for you too, dear girl.
Cheri, I do hope you get home soon. I am not fond of hospitals and I am sure you aren't either. More and bigger hugs for you too!
Puppy and Mena and Christine and Z and whoever needs love and hugs, I found some more! When Eric was little, we played a game of giving out hugs at night. If we ever ran out, we always went to the "hug" store for more. We have never run out since, LOL.
Vickie, hope today finds you happy as always. Eric saw this while sending email to his new girl "friend" (please note the difference, he is really shy about it). He sent one to her and saved this one for me to send to one of my "booby buddies" as he calls all of us!
Welcome to all of the new gals! I am packing percosets but they will wear off in a little while but thought I would have some fun posting this morning since my pain is a little less on the meds than off of them! -
Popping back in quick...
Karen...so sorry that things aren't improving for you. Wish I had a magic wand to make it all better...sending you a hug.
Shopmama...missed you. Sending lotsa love and hugs your way. Hope you have a great day.
Margaret...good luck at boot camp. I need to bump up MB's exercise thread and start getting rid of my belly, butt and thighs if I'm goin to Florida! I hate Tamoxifen LOL.
Angel...couldn't salvage the ice cream...it's ok...don't need it anyway! Sending you a gentle hug. Someday it will all be a distant memory.
Good morning Shirley girl...how is everyone holding up. Still sending hugs and prayers that way.
Peter...good to see you back! I think thats a pretty good picture of a couple of our girls computer! Jankay should be up and running tomorrow morning.
Jasmine...come out come out wherever you are!
The day Elvis died...I was camping with my grandparents at Oneida Lake, we went to the grocery store for supplies and the headlines seemed to be screaming the news. Such a sad sad day. I remember my grandmother cried. I was so heavy hearted about it. (I didn't cry but I literally sobbed watching Princess Diana's funeral procession!!!). 30 years ago...my it seems like it was more like 10...how time flies...a good lesson for us all today...savor every moment.
Shokk...later gator!
Love and hugs to all
Vickie
Hi Melody...missed you too...aauugghhh...LOL. Have a great day.
HA..THE CYBER MONSTER TRIED TO EAT MY POST BUT I FOOLED HIM! COPIED IT THIS TIME!!! NAANAANAANNANANA
Hi Beth...booby buddies...LOL. I like the butterfly.
Marisa...I want those boobs LOL...just to chicken to go through what Beth and Angel and so many others are!
Ok...back to work.
MB...did you get you notebook and start planning yet?
Madison and Liz...hey giggle sisters...I miss ya! -
-
Happy Birthday MB...Enjoy the Day!!!

Hi girls,
It's another hot day here. I know I'll be complaining that it's cold soon though.
Nicki - take care of yourself. I'm so sorry you're sick. Tell DH oh never mind, I can't print that. Hugs
Sher - take lots of pics of you and Marsha on the tables!
Angel - I slept in a recliner during my recon. I just couldn't ever find a comfortable position in bed. Hang in there.
shokk - your poor daughter. Hopefully the swelling will go down soon.
Denise - hahahahahahahaaaaa you made me smile and laugh. I needed that this morning. I have the pic of you and your cleavage from Pinkstock.
Beth - hopefully this will clear the infection up and you can go from there.
Odalys - love the pics!
Peter - so happy to see you here. Welcome back
Vickie - HUGS!
Madison - how is dd today? Hopefully she's able to keep a little more down.
Okay I'm missing many, mom just showed up so I'll BBL
Hugs
Liz -
Good morning CG's. I just can't keep up with you all on the note taking. I just want to say I have said a prayer for all the CG's that are having rough times right now.
The city has shut off our water for the entire day while they do some work up the street. We had to fill the tub with water so we can flush the toliet. It is going to be hotter and muggier here today. Yuck. I don't even want to leave my house. I would like to get my short hair cut even shorter but the boys don't want to go sit quietly and wait for me. School starts next week. I hate to say it but I am kind of looking forward to the quiet time alone for awhile. If I hear one more cartoon characters voice out of the TV I will just lose it. I have tried kicking the kids outside but they don't want to be out in that heat anymore than I do.
Well with everything else going on with the CG's right now I feel pretty petty complaining about my stuff today. Heres to better days ahead for all.
BMD -
Hello CG's - I'm sneaking in from work. Okay - where was I when I found out Elvis died - I was at my wedding shower. Cousins of my MIL were there and they were so upset about it.
Sweet NIcki - you rest up and take care of yourself. drink lots of fluids hurry up and get well.
Odalys - I take the Effexor at lunch time as I need to take it with food. I don't always eat breakfast. I am thinking about upping it to the full 75mg. I'm just so in a funk. I feel down, yet I also feel like I don't feel.
Christine - how is the hand. Sure hope you are back sleeping in your bed sooon.
Peter - welcome back
Betty - good luck at the onc today. congrats to DH on the teaching job.
Denise - good luck to you today too,.
Well I better get back to work BBL. Karen -
Good morning all
We have the trailer set up at the fairgrounds, the chickens have had a bath, the veggies are picked, the chocolate cake and cherry pie have been baked now the fun begins
The girls and I are off to the fair! I wont be around this weekend, but I will eat an Elephant Ear and an ear of roasted corn and think of all of you!
Big hugs
Deb C -
choose to take. They have a wonderful menu offering several different salads, appetizers, entrees and a delcious dessert tray.( Also, anyone that comes here like me that has open, running wounds
automatically get booked in Private Rooms.) The beds here are pillow top luxury beds with only the best linens. They appreciate the need for everyone to have exercise so they keep a professional, paid staff on duty. Sleeping here at the Hotel is quite an experience, indeed. They are so dedicated to all of us getting rest that we get our own personal chamber maids during the night to check on us. They are so dedicated to your sleeping comfort that they will even wake you up just to make sure you are resting well and that your health is good. Why sometimes they wake you just to meke sure you dont need a sleep aid. Upon departure they escort you out in an elegant chair with wheels to your waiting vehicle.
Actually ladies, I am not having a good time...well there was that day that Amy called. LOL I've been pretty out of it. I knew I was sick but it took me asking my Dr. if I needed to precert my stay here and he said "When something is life threaening ins. doesnt require precert." Wow, it sure put a diferent spin on things. That's scary.
They did do a CAT scan last night and if my bones are healed enough to get by on their own then they want to do a surgery to remove the hardware. No surgeries! No PICC line! I just want to go home. I'm 360 miles away from home now.
I appreciate so much the phone calls ane prayers. They mean so much in a situation like this. You all just don't know how much it helps to know you care
Amy, how sweet, a paper email! Cute idea. I can get my email on here...most times. I have Ambers laptop but I don't know how to copy and paste on it! I sure hope I don't lose this Anyway, I'm getting tired now, seems I wear out veryeasily. I just wish I was home and at my own computer and all this was over with. I just met my Infection Dr. He was very nice but difficult to understand and I have no idea how to pronounce his name.
I'll try to get on here later if i'M up to it.Thw time on here has mademe worn out. I love you all and takee care.

Sorry girls, I lost the first part of my post, nevr useed a laptop to copy and paste before!

cheri -
Hi girls,
MB - Happy Birthday!!
Mizsissy - love your poem. I'm happy to say I actually found a man who lives up to it! Today we've been dating 2 years. Exactly 3 years ago today, I left DH. How strange is that?
Karen - you sound like I was when I tried weaning off Effexor a couple of months ago. VERY irritable. Don't look at me, don't talk to me, etc. I went back on after only a week of trying to wean off. I too take mine in the morning so you might try that.
Liz - I would LOVE to go to FL...and Vegas...but according to my VISA statement, I won't be traveling anywhere for a while. We may actually have to meet in Oklahoma!
Odalys - saying a prayer for your sister's bx results.
Nicki - I am a total sweaty mess all the time. Sweating right now. Guess that's why I have so much pickin' laundry all the time.
Cheri - hang in there sister. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Christine - I was watching TV in late afternoon (I think the Brady Bunch) when it was interrupted with the breaking news of Elvis' death.
Madison - is your DD still sick from food poisoning? I only had that once, and that was enough. Never been so sick in my life. Hope she's on the mend soon.
Deb - the chickens got a bath? Were they dirty? All I know about chickens is that they're great with lemon butter garlic sauce.
Hugs to all!
Donna -
Wow a post from Cheri,,nice to see you put down the blue rinks long enough to type,,lol. Just kidding you hang in there missy! Glad to know you havent lost your sense of humor or we would be worried about you.
Nicki-hope you are resting today and DH better be glad you dont have the energy to kick his donkey.
Denise-wow what cleavage! You put a girl to shame dont you?!? lol
Deb-I bet bathing a chicken is lots of fun. I have bathed goats and donkeys but not my chickens and dont think I would want to. Heck my dogs are hard enough or at least some of them. Have fun at the fair and uhhh whats an elephant ear that you can eat?
Christine-I do hope the cute roofers show up soon so that you can sleep in your own bed. The couch gets old.
Donna-congrats on finding a good man,,there arent many out there ya know?
Shokk-Hold on to your hat but maybe the tornados have moved on by now. You may be too far inland anyway but always good to be prepared. By the way, you havent been in the closet in a while now. Oh can my ex go with your ex to Mexico?
Brenda-sucks to not have running water doesnt it? Lets see, just how many times did you go to the faucet and attempt to turn it on? I know I would do it and I do the same stupid things when the power is out. Not long ago a storm knocked off our power and brillant son announced that we could watch DVD's on the computer since the TV was out. He caught himself mid sentence but the stupidness had already escaped.
oops customer coming so I guess I should pretend to be working. I shall return.
Amy -
With Our Computor's!
mine has been corrupt 3 times now!!!
seem's quite a few of us on the wagon has had some problems with this! "WHO YA GONNA CALL"
Puppy
OPS,Computer -
Good Afternoon: Still sweating so hard I have a towel on my head. My boss told me to take off tomorrow also. Its killing me to be home and not even feel well enough to come on the computer. But I am checking in.
Thanks everyone for your well wishes. This pretty much stinks. Its not like having a cold. I always thought that pneumonia was like having a cold. DH is acting much better today. Spending the entire day at the hospital yesterday made him go bonkers.
Cheri: Good to hear from you, but this time I gonna make sure to get involved. Yes you will have a PICC line and yes you will need 6 weeks of IV antibiotics, and yes, you will have the hardware removed if they say so. End of subject my dear friend.
Peter: It was so good to see a post from you this morning. Make sure to have fresh coffee for me tomorrow morning.
Odalys: I sure hope you took the day off. Wish I could have been on a magic carpet ride to be with you and your sister today. Just praying very hard for benign.
The day Elvis died I was working at a doctors office and my 9 year old son called to tell me the news. I kept saying thats a terrible joke Danny.
Seems like we had alot of rough things going on last year at this time. That was why the wagon circle was started. Sending love and hugs to you all.
Im going back to bed.

Again from Castine
This place ain't all bad. It is lacking in basic necessities--like a hot pot of tea made properly from loose leaves, a place where you can sit down for dinner for less than $100, phones that work, internet that stays connected--but wasn't that why I went away? It's got great views, great walks, and breast rings!!!
I thought you ladies would get a kick out of this, ran into this guy today after the third time we tried to get served at the local cheap eatery and were turned away because of lack of wait service. He told me all of Maine wasn't like this, then I got a good look at his nipples. "Like those earrings!!" I said, and he said, "Here are my ears!" pointing to his head.
"What are those, then, your niprings?"
"Yeah, something like that, come in real handy for holding keys and things!"
"Mind if I take a picture?..I know some women who are really into breasts who'd get a kick out this.."
"Heck no!!!"
Here he is..
No massage today. Instead I got together my drawing things and sketched a little. My art brain hasn't quite recovered from chemo...I still need a lot of practice.
Hugs to all who need them today.
Mizsissy -
you'd be hard pressed to find somebody without nipple rings in my neck of the woods!
i'd have them again, ........... if ONLY I HAD NIPPLES!!!!!!
SO INSTEAD, I'LL GET ANOTHER TATTOO LOL! -

What Did You do with ERICK Young lady???
HEHEHEHEHE I Miss You Both!!
Love, Puppy -
Shhhh, don't tell anyone, doing a fly by from work - everyone is in a meeting so thought I would check on you all.
Silka, boot camp is an exercise boot camp and is hard. Here's the link so you can see it: www.bayareabootcamp.com
I like it but decided I don't like it at 5:30 in the morning so I'm trying to switch to 6:00 pm classes since the weather is so nice right now.
Beth, love it - booby buddies huh?
Vickie, I wish I could use tamoxifen as an excuse for the belly (although I have a flat one now thanks to breast cancer), butt and thighs but it was plain old living the good life. Oh, my cheat treat is a Weight Watchers ice cream bar - hubby and I fight over the chocolate cookies and cream.
Lisa, hubby took some pics of my stepdaughter and her fiancee this weekend and I took some backup ones on my digital camera.....so killing some time I took some of flowers (trying to get great shots like you do) - what did I do wrong - the flower was out of focus but the background around the flower was perfect.
Shokk, doesn't it figure that it's picture time when something like dd's eye is very obvious?
Puppy, you are worried about taking notes? It's just good to see you post and saying hello.
Cheri, methinks you are getting spoiled in that hotel you're staying in. Oops, I was trying to be humorous and I just read the next line. I'm sorry you are having such a tough time. We love you and want you to get back home soon - you got a lot of planning to do for next year's Pinkstock. You're in my prayers.
Nicki, sorry but spending the day going bonkers at the hospital doesn't excuse him - my $.02 anyway.
Ok, their meeting is over-back to work - it's almost lunchtime - maybe I'll be back on in a few.
