Morning all, a lot to catch up on.

Brenda, hope you got your computer fixed, but $400 - yikes!

Nicki, I think you better pull that sexy black dress out of the closet and hang it where you can see it every day. You know Twinkies are not good for you - too much sugar. Nicki, the jumping rope cartoon is me at boot camp when we have to do that.

Iris, did I miss your birthday - hope it was a great one. Iris, prayers for John - struck by lightening?

Melody, take your notes in Notepad or Word as you are reading - then you can copy and paste and if you get the dreaded not valid message, you still have your notes.

Robin, what's the diet you are on?

Peter, saw your post - I miss you putting out the coffee for us.

Denise, my sister and I live three blocks from each other; we asked my mom to sell one of her rental houses and buy one in our neighborhood so that if we ever had to move her here we could; we also offered to let her move in with one of us - but NOOOOOOO, she can't do that (and she would drive us crazy, but we would have done it) so instead she doesn't see anyone for a few weeks because she lives so far from us.

Lini, your baby boy is in the middle of the circle surrounded by the wings of all the angel sisters here. Pink greyhound sounds good - I can't have grapefruit or grapefruit juice because of tamoxifen.

    Madison, prayers for your daughter.

Deb, go have it checked out. If you are like you, you worry needlessly because it turns out to be nothing. Gina is probably right, Arthur Itis visits me frequently.

Gina, I found the guardian angel and will send it to you - seriously, it is a little crystal angel my son bought me so I hope it will watch over you as well as she watched over me.

I've been up all night long - I think I have a bladder infection - hate that. I think it's better because I at least can pee now. Sorry, but I got up at 4:00 am this morning because I couldn't sleep any longer; I kept waking up every two hours to go to the bathroom.

Everyone have a great day. Will check back later.

OH Margaret...nothing worse than bladder infections. They have a med at the drugstore that is over the counter that eases the pain. I don't know what it's called but the pharmacist should know. Get to the docs before it gets worse...I've had them go to my kidney...not fun!

    Good morning

What a night...they gave DD IV fluid, plus other meds because her blood work showed dangerously low levels of potassium (sp), etc... She was released early this morning after a shot to help her sleep...her military family is taking care of her....I am so grateful for your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully, she will wake up today feeling better.
Cheri, worried about you. Please, please take care. I agree with everyone, you may need to have the infection looked at by an ER doc.
Nicki, the 22nd is the one year anniversary of the circle. We will have to have a cyber anniversary celebration.
Vickie, hope you have a good Sunday
Liz, we hit a record high of 104, with a heat index over 115. Say inside with the AC
Deb,so sorry you are worried. Hugs to you
I am on the trusty Blackberry (DH has the computer), so I can't go back any pages to respond to all

Puppy, your heart is as wide as the ocean and you take us all in your heart and envelope us in prayers. You are so loved by all and are in turn always, always included in our thoughts and prayers.

I must send Gina my heartfelt thanks for her kind words last night. G, you have created a group of individuals who will be friends forever. I do hope you are feeling better today
    Love ya G

Hugs to all from A to Z (we now have the computer we gave dd back in our house-she has a laptop-will get a router today so I can be on-line same time as hubby)
Bbl-hope to respond to all today-take care

Margaret, just saw your post....drink lots of water. Vickie is right, there is some over the counter meds to help with the pain. Hopefully, you can get to see a doc quickly to get some meds to help with the infection

    Wonderful Sunday Morning to everyone

Deb - a few months ago I had been coughing like crazy - everytime I put my head down (and only then) would I cough. I felt an area above my clavicle that felt swollen too. Then I got this knot on a rib, just below my breast, it was so sore that it was hard to wear my compression bra. I had an oncology appointment and told him, I wasn't playing Elizabeth Edwards(this was just after she found her metastasis) but felt a knot and it was sore. We did lots and lots of studies and I knew everyone was "concerned" and they kept feeling of my neck. We finally decided that, even though nothing showed, I had cracked a rib from all the coughing. The area in the neck I think is overcompensation of other muscles for the stuff that was damaged at the time of my breast surgery. I don't know if any of this will help you - but I thought I would share in case some of it is similar. The oncologist did tell me they see lot more issues related to our radiation than the radiation oncologist want to admit.

Lini, you have my prayers. Have missed you.

Madison - I do hope that your daughter is on the mend now that she has some fluids and been to the ER. I know she has folks close by but gosh is it hard when Mom's can't get to a sick child.

Puppy, love to ya - hope you have a good day.

Cheri, Gina - I'm, praying your ankle and you eye are both better today.

I need to get ready for church - Hope today is a good day
for everyone. We had a bit of a shower overnight and it is so steamy. Better put on extra dedorant.

    Hugs, Brenda

Prayers for Lini and Madison's kids!

Thank you Brenda (BMD) sent you an email with the info on the trip. Nice picture SoCalLisa! I think our son is getting excited about us coming, gotten a letter everyday of this past week from him.

If this group got started August 06...its a little weird/strange for me as it was late August or early September when they found two suspicious circles of dots in my left breast...what a "trip" its been since then!

Finally .. what a gorgeous day yesterday was here .. mid 80's, sunny, no humidity and a nice gentle breeze. I wish I could send this weather to all those suffering in the stifling heat!

Madison - Your DD is sick And missed Jimmy Buffet .. big hugs to her. I'm glad she finally got some medical attention. Hope today is better.

Guz - Can I ask where in New Hampshire you are? I have a brother in Farmington. It's such a beautiful state you are in. If it didn't get so cold in the winter I'd love to live there!

Doris - Nice seeing you again.

Melody - Good morning to you.

Jankay - Glad you had good company at the picnic .. that's most important!

Brenda - PM Betty .. she'll get the email telling her she has a message and hopefully get it before tomorrow.

Robin - Good luck at the PS tomorrow. What type of recon are you getting? The Diep?

Cheri - where is Mena anyway? So glad you finally have your doctor appointment tomorrow since it's apparent you aren't going to the ER as many are suggesting you do! Good to hear the leg is looking better.

Denise - Hugs sweet funny lady! Mom is still here and I'm taking so advantage of that! I've got a busy week next week with doc appts and Audreys schedule so she'll be here through all that. I may let her go at the end of that week. lol Both my daughters are doing great, thanks for asking! Oh, NOTEPAD never fails me!

Lini - Sending good thoughts and hugs for your boy. You should never hesitate to come into the circle, no matter how long you've been gone. Of course others said it better than I can and I think you understand that now. I missed seeing you .. you sent me that wonderful PM back when I was having some self image issues and I'll never forget how you reached out to me. Big hugs to you too.

{{{{{{Deb}}}}}} - I understand your anger and how venting helps. This is a great place to do that where we all get it. Nobody else understands how each little pain can be a concern and what it does to our mental state.

Gina - Isn't it funny how we're always having to educate our doctors and remind them of our history. That just amazes and worries me. How is your eye today?

Vickie - Glad you're feeling better today. I had those same feelings when I went to bed but mine were due to vodka, wine and a muscle relaxer. Not a good mix! lol

SoCal - Thanks for the picture of your get together. It's always so nice seeing our friends.

Iris Angel - Oh poor Jimmy - saying special prayers for him. Please keep us posted on how he is. Congratulations on your 2 years out! I have a long time to get there and know with the help of everyone here I will do so and still keep my sanity! It was my utmost pleasure to start your birthday thread! So happy you had a good one!

Nicki - Hello, glad you had a wonderful weekend!

Margaret - jeez, hope you're okay.

Puppy - wow, you inspired Peter to post! Hugs to you, you give so much love to everyone.

Marsha - dear, where are you?

WildJan - wow, glad you found that wire sticking out of the trike. I was thinking about when this group started too. In Aug '06 I was enjoying my large boobs full of milk for my 10 month old baby girl. I was always small breasted and at one point was obsessed with boobs. Mine and everyone elses and how our society is so fixated on them. I was oblivious to BC and little did I know I had the ugly beast growing in my breast that was nourishing my little girl. When I reflect on it I get so sad. I'm so grateful for Gina starting this thread and all the wonderful people here.

Jankay - thanks for your funnies! I was crying reflecting on this stupid disease and what it's done to everyone here and all over the world. Your post came at just the right moment!

    Liz - I hope you're doing well.

    ((((Odalys ))))

    BMD - Hello to you

I'm off to enjoy another nice day with my family. I hope everyone from A - Z has a wonderful day.

    Love&Hugs

Another warm day here in AZ. I will be indoors relaxing where it is nice and cool.

Lini and Mad - sending hugs and prayers for your kids.

SoCal - I always enjoy seeing the pics of the SD get togethers. I am from SD and was supposed to move back to CA but instead chose AZ. Maybe some weekend I will be able to join you all.

Vickie - Glad to hear you are feeling better.

Margaret - Thank you for the info regarding Notepad. There is nothing more frustrating than typing everything out and having it lost. I sure do hope you dont have a bladder infection.

Charlene - Hope you enjoyed another wonderful day with your family.

    And to everyone, Happy Sunday!!!

    Hi to everyone,
What a great day w/better temps. I hear they are headed up;so,today will be pleasant. Lost all the posts and had time-out this morning. Felt like the punishment at schl w/time-outs. At least,I did not hit my BlackBerry-yet!

Thank you,Margaret and Angel as I called him John and realized it is Jimmy. We are on the water and I am not sure what happened abt the boat;I watched two rescue squads go by and knew it was serious. Those of you in small towns and communities know abt how we feel abt seeing the trucks nearby. You just know it is a neighbor or someone's'relative.
Margaret-hope you are feeling better;had that and it is annoying.Glad that there are things available over-the-counter,too.

Madison-glad that your daughter is better;thinking of her.

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes Margaret! I appreciate the kind thoughts!

Hi to you Cuz Cherryl, thank you, too, for your kind wish. I cannot rememb this 104 heat in my yrs of living in NC(came in the '60's) Hope your mom's town has relief soon;stay cool. Talk to you soon and have a good wk!

Gina and Cheri, hope you are feeling better today.

Hi Vickie,Nickie and Brenda. I am going to pm you Brenda-thanks for the birthday wishes.

Hello to all of the Circle friends and will try to be back later if the minature comp will cooperate. Iris

Good Afternoon Everyone: I really shouldnt be on the computer. I have 2 baby afghans to finish by next Saturday. With that being said, I only have 6 squares done. My niece is having twins. But I did want to pop in and just say hello to you all.

So far its been another nice day here in Chicago. Took my dog for his walk early as I knew it was gonna get hot and humid. We musta had some bad storms last night cause there were branches down all over the place. Didnt get home from my SIL til late, and as a result I passed out and slept the entire night. Now that was a first one for me. Have been in the pool, the water is 80 degrees so just jumped in once again. And now Im in the air conditioning. Cant be outside for long without feeling oppressed.

MargaretB: If Im gonna enjoy a sugar treat, it should be a nice big piece of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. But no, not me, I wasted it on a twinkie of all things. I really believe I was sleep walking and when I walked into the wall I woke up. Urinary tract infections are not fun. Drinks lots and lots of water and cranberry juice too.

Puppy: Im sending a kiss your way.

Charlene and WildJan: What a difference a year makes!

    Vickie: Love the new avatar.

    OK - gotta go.

    Have a great Sunday.

Blessings to all having problems with health issues, rather it be yourselves or children. I hope all the children, no matter their age, are feeling better.
I also don't like being a long distance Mommy!
Deb, I remember you talking about your rib at the restaurant here in MI., If your 'just' scared you could probably wait (the 2 week rule), if it is still causing as much pain as before....I'd have it checked.

Have you all noticed how good we are at giving the "doctor advice" to everyone else..........but now so good at following it ourselves!

Sorry about my rant over the boards last night.....I'll be back later and promise to COPY and to leave my RANT in the closet!

Well, finally the boards are up again. I've been trying to post since this morning. Good thing I usually type the post in Word an then cut and paste. If I hadn't I would have lost it all. I guess I should not complaint since it is a free site. I don’t see much improvements. On the contrary, it’s down often, posts sometimes slide off the page, and posts are lost frequently. It’s a free service so I guess I have no right to complaint. Grrrrrrr

    Here is my initial post.

    image

Hugs and prayers to all who have a child in need or who are having a difficult day. God will not abandon you ever.

Gina – I am taken back by your doctor’s lack of knowledge about your condition and current treatment protocol. Has he always been your doctor? Sorry, it must be so hard to see some of us doing well while you are having SE and such a difficult time. I don’t know what to say other than you really deserve a break. God bless you.

Vickie – love the new avatar. Both Fla cities are around 3-4 hours drive. I’d love to drive up to visit you. Disney sounds great; may be able to go if it’s on the weekend.

Iris – Happy belated birthday. I hope you had a special day.

Angel – I too notice the party thread has been quiet since Pinkstock. Guess most sisters are all partied out and Cheri has not been in the mood due to her leg.

Cheri – Did I read that you have not been to a doctor about your foot? What????? Are you taking your health for granted? Please have a doctor take a look at your leg. Congrats to Amber for getting into tech school. Has she decided what to major in?

Puppy – Any news on Rocky? I would be spitting bullets if someone miss treated Steven.

Sue – Only 50 degree? I would have love to be there. Boy we are having a very hot and humid summer.

    ((((Doris))))

    Janaky – Divorce Barbie…hahahahahahahah….

Peter – So happy to hear you are doing fine. Glad to see your post to Puppy. I hope you can make it to the party thread. I really enjoyed the cyber get away to the resort that you posted.

    Hi Denise,
Rant all you want to as I have been saying words the children taught me! I hate not having computer as I need the contacts! LOL Talk abt only child, middle aged tantrum and you see me! Kidding-somewhat! Glad your visit w/your mom went well and know all abt how challenging it can be. I think abt what Margaret was saying as I tried so hard to get parents to move as they aged;difficult and I feel that my burglary happened when neighbors knew I was away helping my folks. Sorry,I missed my Aug birthstone ring on my birthday-stolen in March;life goes on. So,I do know the frustrations and try to focus on the present; not always easy.

Nicki-you are right abt the grp. It is the grp made of caring friends like you. I still go back and look over and over at the posted pics and written words. Thanks for the comment abt my BBerry use;I will not allow a little machine to defeat me! Hope you are having a great day! I got up and read your post;then, lazy me went back to sleep.
Vickie-what bee sting? Love the new pic in your Glinda dress! I hope it does not swell too much;hate those things. I know we use ice and a bite pen w/camphor here.
Watch me be invalid as I am so slow! Iris
