I am seriously going to Florida and it does appear that it will be in October...probably mid month. Kids are back in school there so the parks are a little calmer and it's a bit cooler then. Have to see my dd and soon!!!

Odalys I hope your sis is ok. My sis was dx'd two years after me and I took that harder than my own dx.

Nicki, the credit report I hear is a common thing now on a lot of things including job applications. WHY I have no clue. They even run a credit check if you want to get new car insurance- even if you plan to pay for it in full in advance! If your credit is bad they charge you a higher rate. I think there is a racket going on there.

We have Sunrise Assisted Living Facilities all over the place here. In fact, isn't that where Beth's mom is at?

As I was pulling into my driveway a bee flew between my sunglasses and my eye and stung me on the lower lid. I look like prize fighter right now!

Jas......that post you made yesterday or maybe Monday about finishing treatment was perfect....exactly how I felt when my treatment ended.....being dropped off at the curb waving goodbye and wishing me well.......I tried running after the car but because of the taxol I could only limp......JanKay glad you had a good treatment today.....I bet the pool felt great......Rocky take care of your mom......don't make us come up there mister.........where's Amy today??? Shokk, sorry about the avatar. Everyone was getting creeped out by the squirrel, and one of my hubby's geek friends wrote a program where I could add the party hat to my avatar picture, so I had to try it out.

I really do want to come to Florida! My annual pass expires in November...it would be a waste not to use it one more time!

Vicki and all others who want to come to FL - I live about 8 miles north of Clearwater Beach - I have 2 spare bedrooms, one with king bed, one with queen (pull out couch) and I have several air mattresses too, so if anyone wants to stay here, you would all be more than welcome. It's about a 1h 45 min. drive from here to Orlando/Disney

Re the credit report thing - you have no idea how hard it was for us when we first came here - being totally unknown entities as far a credit goes! Heck we had problems just getting a phone line! We even offered to pay for a year up front! It was extremely frustrating to say the least. We finally ended up taking out a small mortgage on our house (which we had paid for outright) to build up credit. Nowadays it's the other way round - everyone wants to give us credit of some kind or another LOL.

Well, gotta go and get dinner prepared.

Cheri-yep I plan on taking lots of pics of the lil puppies. They change so quickly. One day no freckles on the nose and then the next, there they were.

School started today and as much as Tucker didnt want to act excited he was a bit. The excitement will wear off quickly but I swear it took him longer to pick out his clothes last night than it takes me. Just a year ago he could have cared less what he wore, dirty or clean. Joys of a teenager.

Good Evening Everyone: Busy, busy day. Drove 150 miles 7 hospitals! So I would say I am a wee bit tired.

Odalys: Oh my gosh, I dont know what to say. I know your upset and your sister must be so scared, especiailly having watched you go through this whole ordeal. How old is your younger sister? Im the baby girl in my family. Older sister was diagnosed 3 months after me. Anyways - the roller coaster ride begins. Still hoping for B9!!

Brenda: Loved the midlife crisis. Made me laugh. I weighed myself today and cheating sinfully all last week-end. Yep - gained 2 pounds! I swer I could feel it! Guess I have to go back to South Beach. Im just so tired of dieting.

JANKAY>wonderful to hear you had a great day! I washed the Mustang ( 05 car not a horse!) early this morning and been lazy the rest of the day as its stifling horribly hot today. Guess I better start some supper, been thinking of french toast, something my marine son said he misses! I bought a couple of expensive flavored syrups half off last payday when our Albertson grocery store was closing so might be a nice change for supper.
