Liz -- I'm very happy to hear that! What are you doing on the boards young lady. Are you already packed?!
-
Jas - I've packed, unpacked, packed, and think I'll unpack one more time. LOL I keep putting the same stuff back in though.
I am being lazy! Are you packed? I measured my carry on and it meets the size according to the website. All my items are in my plastic bad etc.
Now to just get there! -
Where in the heck is Vickie today??????? Is she hanging out at her fence........hmmmmmm...........Vickie come on back in the water......its nice and warm or nice and cool depending on your weather........we are all going to be ok.......Jan is home and Pinkstock is just around the corner.......Nicki is going to be ok and Gina is just the best........ok girls I'm still at work......I feel like someone has beat me with a sack of oranges and not in a good way........will try and check in tonight........if not will see ya'll tomorrow.......hey Vickie see ya later gator.........
-
Won't comment on this weekend's "events" beyond saying it was the moon's fault. Glad to see we are "moving beyond" since that is what this thread is all about.
Gina---I am SO glad to see you here more often. I have always loved your posts and your way with words---you, Deb and Z are our laureates, wish I could write the way you all do. I sincerely hope this means you are feeling a little better.
Nicki---I'm glad you are Ok and simply taking a little break. I do that sometimes but always end up back here chatting with my sisters. Hope that proves to be the case with you too.
Vickie---what's with with the fence guy? I know Imissed a lot the last few weeks (don't ask me about the Chinese fire drill with the family---let's just say I am officially in box shock after all the packing and unpacking---and we're not done yet). And your gazebo got squished?
The oldies but goodies know I have spent way too much time and energy trying to find a good volunteer fit with BC sisters the last few months. Well guess what? My onc (who is part of a large group practice) sent me a letter last week asking if I would be willing to train as a peer counselor with newly dx'd BC pts. Have to pass muster yet but things are looking good. They are only training 15 across all diagnosis to start with---let's keep our fingers crossed.
My best to all---camp safe Shirley, good vibes for the ortho Cheri, glad to see Jan and Amy around too.
Smells like dinner is burning---gotta run. Love to all and play nice (dammit!)
Jeannie -
My first thought was that looks like a race horse but I see a quarter horse head too? What a beauty.
Doris that is so sad, the poor woman! Glad you can help her though, I'm sure she is so grateful for it.
I spent some time putting jokes in the humor area, hopefully they aren't repeats!
Wild/Jan -
Im in the darkest place, but Im back - thanks for your friendship.
The Interview:
Well seems like the button on my blouse decided to pop off about 1/2 half hour before the appointment. Yep couldnt move my arms without my blouse opening up and showing my new boobies. I thought - what a ridiculous situation. No boobs, just silicone - blouse wouldnt stay closed. I cancelled the interview as I decided that was definitely a sign.
Stove broke today. So it looks like we will be broiling, microwaving, and bbqing!
Love ya all
Nicki -
I just am popping in and hoping all is OK with the Circle!!
Here we are in Cooperstown.. -
Hi Nicki...xo
-
Welcome back Nicki. Lots and lots of hugs for you, friend.
-
-
Welcome home Nicki.
-
Nicki, LOL, the button pops off your blouse; boobs show. Me, I pop buttons off my pants/skirts - my belly shows.
Brenda -
i would've canceled too nicki!
i'm ridiculously superstitious these days.
don't worry about your boobs ........ mine are downright hideous ........ i'm so disappointed that i'm considering having the implants removed.
glad to see you back .......... you're not "stupid" and we won't 'throw rocks at you' -
Glad that you're back Nicki. Even though I don't visit very often, I always look for your posts.
Shel - Now why would you take your implants out when they looked so fine in that swimsuit shot taken in the Keys?? Mine look like crap, too, but still get some looks in clothes. It's all an illusion, delusion, confusion. I just don't look at them in the mirror, and much prefer these over prosthesis (egad, those were awful). Any suggestions for the bright red lines (scars) crossing through the middle?? -
o my gosh Denise, I am cracking up. Thank you so much. I needed that today. Haven't left for the hunting camp yet. Leaving in the morning.
PS Denise I don't think thats a rattler? -
well, i just cracked up at brenda!
so long for now ladies ......... i'm in cleaning mode cause my best friend is coming home from the keys to stay with me for a couple of weeks and i'm pumped beyond belief! -
Hi Nicki, glad you are back
And NO, No.....not one rock will be thrown at you!!!
Just Hugs given!! -
Hey Shirley - good to see you. I don't camp either so I'll be thinking of you. You're a wonderful sister and I know your sis knows that.
Gentle hugs to you and the family.
shel - wow! Cleaning mode? I don't think I know what that is. LOL I do need to look into it when I get back. Enjoy your visit.
Be back - someone's here -
Thank you all for moving on.
Nicki, that is so frustrating and you know you can't interview well knowing you have a problem with something you are wearing - yup, it's a sign. When I interviewed for the job I have now, I was on my last interview of the day and happened to notice that some of the stitches had come out of the inside seam of my pant leg and there was some skin showing - I managed to hide it until the very end.
Denise, that was pretty funny about the snake - sounds like something I would do.
Wild/Jan, loved the pictures. When we met, hubby had a 47 Harley Knucklehead that he had built and what a pretty bike it was. Haven't been on a bike in years...too many people out here in CA.
This is the financial hell week - 3 birthdays this week - both grandkids and a niece so we're off to dinner tonight to celebrate Jacob's birthday but I wanted to say I love you all.
Margaret -
Good evening everyone. I do so hope all of you are safe and enjoying your evening and that each of you are feeling well. Oh I can just imagine all those nice folks out there in their jammies, watching television while holding hands with their spouses. Or perhaps curled up in a comfy bed with fresh linens reading a book you love so much you just can't put down. Perhaps you are spending quality family time with your children, Skip and Judy, by playing board games, of course only after homework is finished.
I pray for world peace and happiness and justice for each and every American, oh that wasn't nice of me, not just Americans but for all folks from all over this big ole world of ours. I need to take Rover out for her walk now so must cut this post short. OOOOOH, don't you just L.O.V.E. to say a howdy to all your friends? Do take care. May your night be filled with sweet dreams of cotton candy and jelly beans.
A friend that *squeeze* loves you,
Cheri -
NICKI, WELCOME HOME!!!!!!
Alright you guys, I thought that the house looked a little different when I got home. Thanks for cleaning up the house and putting the cover back on the pool, lol! You can party here whenever you want. We will be partying at MB's house this weekend!!!!! Yee Haw!!! Pinkstock, here we come!!! Weather permitting, DH and I are coming on the Harley. Bikers forever! Love you all!
Karen, I'm sorry you are going thru a tough time. My onc gave me Effexor, but I was afraid to take it, since I have wine every night. Sometimes we need meds to make it thru the day. Hugs!
I'm happy to be back here in the Circle. Maybe we can get back to the business of loving one another! -
Cheri, I am cracking up!!!!!!
-
Good evening sweet sister...have a million and one things to do and no where near enough time to do them all so here I am.
Nicki...glad to see you are back but the new saying simply must go! Throw rocks at YOU! I don't hardly think so...lets try for something a little more uplifting and if you can't "do" uplifting then go for funny! Don't make me come there sunshine sister! This is for you....just click on the picture
Gina...it's so very good to see you posting again. I will be so happy when your chemo is done...October will be here before you know it. I know thats probably what everyone says and you're probably sick of hearing it but it will come. Hugs to you.
Shokk...horribly busy between work and getting ready for Pinkstock. Haven't packed yet...I have yarn ready with crochet hooks, knifty knitters etc. Nate is packed and ready to go...he wants to leave today! Wish you could be there.
Jan...ITS ABOUT TIME YOU GOT HOME! Geez...heehee. Hope you had a great time and can't wait to see pics! Don't listen to Gus...we would never borrow your house to party in LOL. Cheri made the mess though!
Shirley girl...out camping...in the woods...lions and tigers and bears oh my!!
Denise...Ok...a snake! I don't even know what to say except I would have hid out in the house till someone came along to get rid of it for me! I have a stinking hornets nest on my front porch that is pretty darn big (basketball size!!)and they are a nasty bunch! Waiting for it to get dark so I can go out and spray them (and run like hell!). I don't do bugs!!! Of any kind!!!
Lini girl...love ya!
WildJan...love the motorcycle pics...I'll have to go check out your jokes...I could use a laugh or two.
Liz...you are just so good to us all...what in the world would we do without you?
Cheri pal...where is my drinkin bud today. No time to come out and play? Hmmm...whats up missy?
MizSissy...thank you for posting the update about Puppy. I have worried so much over her.
(((Karen)))know that if I could take it all away for you I would. I pray the antidepressants work. I couldn't be without mine.
Jasmine...woohoo...actually going to get to see you in a couple of days...along with a bunch of other sisters!
Madison...are you packed and ready to go? Hmmm...have you already left?
Deb...where are you now? Had a few to many last night huh LOL!
Hey Gus...pour a stiff one for me! It's been a long day here too...can't wait till Thursday!! You were NOT supposed to tell Jan we partied at her house...it was a secret. It's not our fault Cheri left such a mess...and the rhinestone thong is NOT mine.
Susan...thanks for your words of wisdom...I'm glad things are back to normal...I need this circle. Many of us do.
Marsha...did ya have to bring Bubba back...geez...won't sleep a wink tonight now! I'll remember to dance on a table for ya. I was told that they would have to put the table on the ground for me...HA...I'll show them.
Angel...vodka slushies...now that sounds grand! I really think I could handle that tonight.
Z...I think that you have the wrong idea about the circle. You are going to lurk as you have nothing to offer...ummm...NO...that's not the idea. The idea is that you need to come sit in the center and tell us your trouble and get them off your mind if even for a little bit. We are here to offer a helping hand, a shoulder, a pat on the back...whatever you need.
Amy...it is so good to see you back and home again. You were missed. Enjoy your chemo break!
Colleen...where did you go?
Ok...missed a bunch of ya...good morning to Peter...are you still here Peter?
Gotta get busy...
love, hugs and sweet dreams all the way around.
Oh Jeannie...sexy, handsome man next door...oh my...hot flashes just watchin him walk across the field. Yeah...bad storms hit here Friday afternoon. Really made some awful messes! 3.5 inches of rain!!! It was bad.
Sweet dreams again
Vickie -
Vickie - I'll dance on the table with you. LOL
It's so good to see everyone posting. I hope everyone has a great night. I'll see you all in the morning before I head out.
Hugs
Liz -
Cheri...ROFLMAO...WTH was that!
Good night John Boy,
Good night Mary Ellen.... -
Okay - I thought I was the only one laughing. My first reaction reading it was HUH?
Cheri - you always make me smile.
Good Night Tommy
Good Night Elizabeth
they were on the show weren't they? LOL -
Z, I didn't read back far enough to know what is going on with you, but why would you leave???? Just know you are loved here. You don't have to post something big and fancy, although you have quite the way with words, just check in and let us know all is well. If you need to vent or whatever, we are here!! That is the beauty of the Circle. You need us and we need you!
G'night, John Boy! -
Good Night Erin,
Good night Jim Bob,
A good night to all the ladies and a good morning to Peter.
Cherryl -
Welcome home, Nicki!! You were missed!
Cheri, I've had so much chardonnay that I'm sitting here giggling like an idiot while reading your post.
Good night, Jim-Bob
Good night, Grandpa
Sweet dreams all! Love you!
Sue -
Cheri, you are a riot!!!! I'm supposed to be doing checks for quarterly taxes - Haha.
I'm tired; not sure why but just tired. Maybe all the packing, unpacking you guys have done today and Denise and her snake have just worn me out. Ok back to check for taxes.
