TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS
Comments

Nicki,
I barely post here anymore.
I couldn't sleep last night because I was really hurting from the s/e's from the Abraxane. So I scrolled through old posts to find pictures to post.
There was nothing intentional about removing the horse picture. I removed a lot of pictures so the new girls could be included. To be honest, I thought that was one of mine. I have a picture of my sister's horse in that same collection and I remember thinking why have a picture of Phantom on here? I also removed the picture of myself with my car.
I am going to disable the link so you don't get any more upset.
I am also going to stop participating. I was trying to keep up and post more but obviously I can't keep up and when I try to someone gets upset.
To anyone else who had a picture removed- nothing was intentionally done- I was just trying to do something nice.
Everyone can simmer down now. -
Nicki's picture is on the Illinois gathering thread. Moving Beyond? It's from their last get together.
Back to reading and I'm supposed to be putting the baseboards in - I don't care. LOL -
AH JEEZE ......... this is why i mostly lurk nowadays.
seems mostly everyone had the best of intentions ....... glad i had "earl" save the photoshow for me.
thanks for trying gina.
another really unfortunate state of affairs around here (of all places on the boards) -
Love you all
Madison -
Afternoon, taking a break and seeing how everyone is doing.
Cheri, I hope Amber finds a job soon. At least she knows she has you to help her.
Karen, I'm sorry you are in a funk. I hope you are feeling better soon.
Jankay, I have a hard enough time typing with two hands, so cannot imagine one - would drive me crazy. Hugs to you and hope your finger is bruised and not broken.
Peter, glad your brother is back on his meds and hope he gets back to his old self soon.
Shirley, I know yesterday was tough for your family but you know how much your being there meant to your sister. I'm with you - give me a condo at the beach - enjoy your time deep in the woods in GA.
Pam, what a nice way to start the day and with coffee to boot. Hope that laughter is followed by much, much more.
Odalys, I'm going to have to learn how to do that.
Karen, if you need instructions on posting an avatar and pics, let me know - they are the same instructions I sent Cheri and Nicki (Cheri and Nicki, it was you I sent them to, right? Chemobrain LOL).
Cheri, hope you find a home for Mork and Mindy. Have you tried Craiglist? It works great, but you will get those who send you emails about dog farms and be careful who you give the dogs too because someone might want them for who knows what bad reason - did that make sense or did I just ramble? I have posted ads for both of my sisters' dogs and got just such an email. Whatever.....
Vickie, glad you got whatever was in your eye out.
Nicki, I know hurting your feelings was the farthest thing from Gina's mind when she updated the video, she's not that kind of person. I wasn't in the first video and with the exception of a few people that I actually know what they look like, couldn't tell you who was in the first video.
Gina, I'm sorry you disabled the link, as I would have liked to have seen the updated video.
Hugs to all Amy to Z, speaking of which, Z, you should reconsider - I do enjoy reading your posts. This circle is for friends - when you have good days or bad days, you take what you need from it on any given day and you give back what you can when you can. Sorry, I'm rambling again - please post when you can.
Back later.
Margaret -
Cheri - did you ever post a pic of Mork and Mindy? I must have missed it. I sure hope you can find them a good home. So sad you have to give them away. How old are they now?
Z - it's okay to come here when you are feeling down. We are here for you.
Vickie - I hope your eye is feeling better and you didn't scratch your cornea or picked up an eye infection. Last time I did heavy yard work I picked up an eye infection. It took me two weeks to get rid of it. Remember, rinse the eye don't rub it.
Jankay - How is your finger feeling today? I sure hope is just bruised and not broken. Fingers are very sensitive. I fractured my small finger in Dec and still can't make a fist. Now, the finger is curved and swollen most of the time. Oh well...hope yours is okay.
Shel - How are you? Glad to see you again. I missed your posts.
Charlene - sorry you had to go to the ER. Are you feeling better? BTW-love your sense of humor.
Mena - (((((hugs))))) -

Good grief! Not another duplicate account. Account registered 2 months ago with total of 3 posts. Only in the circle.
-
Okay - I took the bite and went to the link posted by Java and here is what I found. Nicki is holding the sign.
-
Just got home and this is the first place I came! Don't know what is happening...........but don't like it. I'd like to see the new video........can someone let me know if they saved it, please.
Gina and Nicki........Love and hugs to you both.
Denise -
My dear Gina and Nicki - I am so very sorry that you both are hurting so badly. You both are such special ladies. Sending you both big cyber hugs from Denver. I love you both. Karen

Everyone needs to get a grip.
NOTHING happened.
I was up late last night and started playing around with the old Circle Girl movie and decided it needed updating.
I added a more recent pic of Vickie and Nate, CY holding her newborn grandbaby, The Fabulous Ms Z, Jankay, Margaret, Deb and Jeannie, Deb at the relay, Marsha, A big one of Mazer since I only had a blurry small one in the old one, Hey Jude and Amy's adorable son, Newter and her boy, Odalys, Cheri with Amber sitting on her lap, and more recent pics of the ones already there. In short, I sat here and scrolled through page after page of posts and if you posted a pic I copied it and added it to the picture collection on my pc.
In order to keep the movie the same length- which it had to be otherwise Photobucket wouldn't download it- I had to remove some old pictures. I removed the picture of myself first. Then some pets- Sorry Furbabies!- then some of the graphics. I also removed a picture of a horse. At 3 O'clock in the morning one doesn't think of the ramifactions of removing a picture of a horse. Come to think of it at 3 O'clock in the afternoon someone doesn't think of the ramifications of removing a picture of a horse...
I have MANY PICTURES OF HORSES in my photo file. My mom and sister have a horse farm! This horse pic looks an awful like one of my sister's horses that I have posted before. In all honesty a horse is a horse is a horse. Was it my sister's prize Phantom? Or was it a horse that has special meaning? I wasn't thinking any of that- all I was thinking was I need to make room for someone's picture.
Apparently this horse means a lot and it caused a very old friend to post that I was somehow making a statement about how I feel about her.
BECAUSE OF A HORSE?
When you step back this is the dumbest argument I have ever been involved in. What makes it dumb is that fact that I am not arguing with anyone- I was just trying to make an updated movie with current pictures in light of the fact that Pinkstock is coming up and it was meant to be a pep rallye.
I didn't sit down at the computer and say "OK- I will change the movie and remove that horse because I want to rule the world bwahahahaha!"
I just deleted a freakin picture so a person could take its place. No pre-conceived master plan- just a tired girl with aches in her legs so bad she can't sleep so she decided to do something for the circle after everyone and their cousin Seymour has been PMing me to "come back and post more"
So can we cut the drama? I am not mad at anyone except myself. I have a big deadline for work on Monday and I should have spent that time finishing the grant I am supposed to be writing.
This is all much ado about nothing.
I got rid of the link so no one will feel slighted. I said five Hail Mary's to atone for Horse Blasphemy... and in the grand scheme of things- I am in the middle of miserable chemo that I HATE and don't even know if it is working- Mr. Ed is not up there on my list of things to worry about today.
Everyone please just continue on as normal.
Nicki you should continue to post and be the supportive and active member here that you always have been.
And everyone needs to take a really deep breath and remember that this kind of petty nonsense was exactly what the Circle has ALWAYS avoided and thus made it the wonderful place it always was.
For the love of heaven- let it go. It was a picture of a horse.
I AM SORRY I ACCIDENTALLY REMOVED IT. THE VIDEO IS GONE. SO EVERYONE CAN GET ON WITH THEIR REGULARLY SCHEDULED CIRCLE BUSINESS.
OTAY PANKY? -
Just for the record, I no longer have a cousin Seymour. It seems he was eaten by a giant plant from outerspace...but that's another story!

Did your plant happen to come into contact with the ones from "Little Shop of Horrors"? I kept seeing Seymour in my mind after reading your post and now,I am singing the songs!! BTW,I loved that movie and need to get the DVD since we have the HDTV stuff now.
Hi to everyone--will post later on! Thinking of all of you.
Each Day,I was wondering how your vac was going. Got room for one more to hop into a suitcase as I am hiding our from the internist's office!! LOL--yes,I will make myself drag in.... where else can I find white coat syndrome in a parking lot? How did the pink undies work? I did that to my socks, again, today. Jasmine--loved Rick Moranis...those Honey, I Shrank the Kids and the other one, too. Think it was like Honey,I Blew Up the Kids or something like that...anyway,need to get those old ones and order them from Netflix as that would be cheaper than B'buster. How are you doing today?
------
Iris -
Iris -- I'm good. I've been watching the Big Brother 8 live feeds all day. Shame on me, didn't get a thing done today.
Did you ever see Rick in My Blue Heaven with Steve Martin. That one was cute too and also Big Bully with that guy that used to be married to Roseanne Barr. I need to check into that Netflix thing. I usually just wait till they come on HBO or Encore. -
Evening everyone, I haven't had a chance to read much but wanted to pop in.
Hugs and Prayers
Liz -
I did see My Blue Heaven and are you talking abt Tom Arnold?
I sent you a pm. Love Netflix!!! Tried Blockbuster twice and it is never as fast for me as Netflix--no,I don't have any stock in the comp. But, I should....LOL!
