Good morning, CGs and good evening Peter,
I don't usually get to post in the am, but know today is going to be a looong day at work. Hoping to get my pc back from shop and that hard drive is still intact.
(((((Puppy))))) so praying for you and looking forward to
hearing that all is ok.
Vickie.. you are one busy woman. When does Nate start school? The kids here are registering now. I think that may be one of the reasons I feel so sad. If my Craig were still here (which I know he is not), he would be beginning
his externship at cullinary school. I am getting better I think, but some times it just sneaks up.
Nicki... a part time job too? You amaze me! Just remember to take care of yourself. Guess you and I can
guard the wagons while the others are at Pinkstock. I
hope that I can go next year, but my heart aches every time
I read the posts.
Well time crept by too fast and I have to be at work at 8 and still must shower. Gonna be another go to work with wet hair today.
Love, prayers and hugs to you all... from A to Z.....
Pam -
Special prayers for Puppy today. I'll check in later.
Laura -
I'm up and ready for the Magic Carpet! That is if we can go in jammies!
{{{{Puppy}}}} We're with you holding your hand and giving you lots of hugs and love.
Betty: I would be without a Job right now....I can't keep my mouth closed when I'm angry anymore! Must say, you handled yourself very well...........and I've 'got your back'....we'll get the Witch!!
Nicki: We need to talk, friend......second job? You really need a weekend away........seriously.
Margaret: Thinking of you everytime I walk past the bathroom! Good luck today....and while you are there, why don't you have one for me, too!
Vickie and JanKay are up. Thinking Marsha and Laura, too.
Peter, goodnight to you. Good morning Madison. Pam..good to see you this morning.
Hugs to all,
Denise -
(((Denise)))
Just had to check back in once more before leaving. Wish I could be a sunshine girl, but my eyes just won't open early enough. Hope you are doing well. -
Morning all,
Betty, that flush was from my wagon - taking all those pills for the dreaded colonoscopy this morning.
Nicki, how do you have time to do a part-time job?
Pam, I'll hold down the fort with you and Nicki during Pinkstock. I won't be going.
Denise, don't worry, I'll bug you about getting the procedure done. If I, the biggest wimp of all, can do it, so can you. At least it only has to be done every 5 years.
Puppy, we're with you. Hugs and prayers.
Don't know if I'll be back on before I leave for my procedure so everyone have a good day and I'll be back later.
Margaret -
(((Margaret)))...gonna give you a ride today too but don't know if I will be holding your hand heehee. Hugs for you. Hope all turns out well.
-
Good morning all!
I have another day ahead of me of running around with the kiddos, but I wanted to stop in to send positive thoughts and prayers to Puppy. I'll be checking in throughout the day from my Blackberry for any updates.
Margaret, good luck with your procedure today. My husband had it done a couple of years ago, and he said that the prep was worse than the procedure itself.
Betty, like Denise, I would no longer be employed if my boss came at me the way you described. Big hugs to you -- I know how hard it must be to go into work today.
Nicki, a part-time job too? I wish that you could get away for the Pinkstock weekend--it sounds lie you could use a little break.
Good morning to Vickie, Jankay, Pam, Laura, Peter and Denise! I'll check back in later, but I really need to jump in the shower and get moving this morning.
Love you all,
Sue -
Good morning, CGs--
Feathers died last night after a midnight run to the emergency vet. Just a few hours before, she insisted in her gentle way that we bring her for a car ride--kept nuzzling the front door where she only goes out if we are going for a ride or a walk. Once outside she went to both doors of the van. When I opened the sliding door, she finangled her way to sitting in the front between the van seats and when we were passing the lake, she became very excited and we then realized she wanted a swim. She swam for an hour, found a stick to play fetch with, befriended a little girl and gave her a kiss. I'm telling you she was her old self for that hour--she didn't want to leave-kept running back into the lake--even though I know she must have been so tired. When we returned home, she didn't want any water or food and as the evening progressed she became too weak to stand and went downhill from there. When it seemed she may becoming uncomfortable, we brought her in. She was such a wonderful companion for us and will be sorely missed. I'm so glad she had that last swim--it was a gift for her and us.
Puppy--sending hugs your way
Betty---I had a horrible manager in my last job---it's very stressful to be in that situation.
Margaret--best wishes for that test--don't envy that but know I'll be having one soon, too.
Holly -
(((Holly)))...I am so very sorry. I am glad that Feathers gave you that one last gift and you gave him his last wonderful day filled with joy and fun. You should be so proud of yourself for being such a wonderful pet mommy. You did good...hugs again.
Love

OK Girls,
Someone give me lessons on how to/where, etc to do cut and paste posts that I can keep if cyberspace eats it. It took me two hours of reading and 30 minutes of typing to do my reply and it was gone, poof! I am practically in tears over it. I can't type it all again.
Thanks for help,
Lynn -

Lynne
Open up Notepad and type your post
Then when you are ready to cut/paste
in the notepad window, choose 'select all'
then choose 'copy'
then click on the bco post window and hold down the ctrl key on your keyboard and type the letter v to paste your message -
holly .......... i put my doggie down not too long ago and it near about crushed me!
i took her by myself (like a fool), and at first i thought the pain would consume me .......... as the weeks have passed, i realize she's in a better place, pain free and breathing comfortably. i find comfort now in knowing i did right by the old girl! i DO have guilt for hanging on to her for too long sometimes, but i know she understood that Mac and i loved her and were having a hard time letting go.
i stopped at the burger king drive through and got her a cheeseburger on the way to the vet(something she could've never had otherwise because she would inevitably throw up the table food she longed for) and i fed it to her in the parking lot while i talked to her about how much she meant to us.
oh boy ........... i'm getting emotional lol! but i wanted you to know that i feel your pain!
............ and nickie "another job"? ......... girl, i worked one FT and one PT job forever when mike and i split up .......... the pace was agonizing BEFORE i got sick (not to mention losing my shirt in taxes) ......... BE CAREFUL my friend .......... make sure it's worth it ok? -
Oh Holly...I am still crying for you. What a beautiful gift our furry friends are. You did good
Gentle Hugs

{{{{{{{ Puppy }}}}}}} Sending Healing Thoughts Your Way.
Shirley - It was nice to see your post. I'm happy you heard from your son. Wow, France huh? That IS cool! Audrey wants to go there. I'm still working on getting her to Disneyworld! Take care and know we're thinking of you. When my niece died it was all very surreal. It will be that way for a long time. 6 years later I still find it that way at times.
Sheri - I have the utmost respect for good teachers. It takes a certain something to do your job! You definitely don't earn what you should. But hey, it's not like you're a movie or sports star (she says with tongue in cheek!).
Cheri - Hugs for you. I know you don't like whining but sometimes you need to let it out. You certainly deserve to! I didn't know you lost a grandchild, so sorry to hear that. When my sisters daughter Shannon died my dad suddenly became a grandfather.. meaning, he wasn't there before and he realized how precious life was and how little time there could be. It was a very difficult time for him and it changed him. I hope today is better, sorry you don't have your usual days off! Just go to the party thread, that'll help keep you up!
Vickie - Loved you peeking in on my making sure I was resting! LOL at that image! You are so busy, I don't know how you manage keeping up here! At Pinkstock you can unwind and have a ball with your sisters! On top of everything else it will be a great stress reliever!
Somehow I lost MySpace layout! I was messing around with images. I grabbed a new one but not sure it's "me". It may change again soon!
Liz - So nice of you checking on me as busy as you are also! I'm going to miss you when you're at Pinkstock!
Mandy - I know you've left but hoping you have a great vacation. You deserve this one girl!
Shokk - I echo your sentiments about having bc over losing a child. omg, I just can't imagine it and too many women right here in our circle know that pain. Then they also have the pain of dealing with bc along with it. Reading your post brought tears streaming down. Life's not fair.
Deb - We'll be with you in spirit all the way on your long trip to Pinkstock. Will send a special angel to make sure you get there safely. You'll do fine!
Lisa - Have a great time on your trip!
Jasmine - I always grrrrrrrrrr when I have to call the insurance company. Inevitably there's going to be a fight on your hands that takes up way too much of your precious time. I feel for you.
Nicki - "No Humpy means go lay down" ROFLMAO!!!!
So sad about the car accident. Sometimes I think people shouldn't drive until they're 18! Scary.
Z - congrats on the contract!
Suz - my legs hurt just thinking about spinning!!! How are you feeling today?
Sue - Your friend is in my thoughts. The first time I heard the C word was 6 years ago when I had skin cancer. Fortunately basal cell variety. I fear the melanoma though. That's tough, please let us know how she's doing.
Margaret - Thinking of you today and hoping all goes well! Enjoy that breakfast!
Karen - how are you holding up? I hope you're getting lots and lots of rest.
Jankay - I love chatting with you! Thank you for the sweet baby angels! They make me think of my own baby angels, Audrey and Ava! I'm glad to hear you're feeling good today!
Betty - thinking of you today hoping work is going smoothly.
Holly - What a marvelous last day you shared with Feathers. So sorry for your loss.
Lynn - We all understand your frustration! Do you have notepad? Type your post in there. When you're done copy all and paste it into here. Or, if you type it right into here, before hitting submit, copy all and then preview your post. If you get the dreaded invalid just go back and then you can paste it.
Denise - I had something to say to you and my mind is drawing a blank!!! If it comes to me, I'll be back with it! lol
On that note I think I'll just stop and say hello to Wild Jan, Amy, MB, Joyce, Madison, Gus, Cherryl, Susan, Peter, Tricia, CY, Pam, Laura, Shel and all from A to Z.
Hugs and Love,
Charlene -
Good morning sweet chicas and good night Peter......(((Holly))) so sorry sweetheart.......(((Shel)))))for your puppy dog.........I told my daughters once the last of the pets go I will not replace them........I love animals but I just cannot afford them and my kids and me........well my youngest is getting braces this morning......getting ready to run and pick her up.......just wanted to let everyone know how much ya'll mean to me and how jealous I am for all the pinkstock gals.......MB is going to need some kind of award when this whole thing is over or maybe a trip to the shrink......ha.........ya guys are the best.....when I got home last night neither girl had showered or dressed......so I order them a pizza I had a bowel of ceral.......don't care to much for pizza.....(we really don't have very good pizza here) and went to bed......ok chicas running to grap daughter and take her back home.....be back in a bit.........

Hi All
Just checking quickly, no time to read even! Swamped at work and Warren isn't in camp or anything this week so I've been trying to work in the early AM, do something with him for a few hours, and then work the rest of the "day" at night! Kind of crazy, but one of the benefits of working from home and just have a deadline to meet is that it doesn't matter what time you do the work, as long as you do it!
Hope everyone is doing OK, will have lots of time to get caught up after this weekend, as I'll just have work to keep me busy - Warren is off on his great adventure to CT, Florida and then CT again this Saturday!
Love to you all -
Hugs Colleen. So glad to see you checking in even if its just a quick post.
You too, Shokk. Hope you have a grand day today. -
Hi everyone. Here's a link to where you can sign the online guestbook for Shirley's nephew.
